Is this the best suggestion yet? I think so!
Going Postal – Best guild EU!
PS – If you ever want to get a ton of people to go to a waypoint, just say there is a champion nearby…like bees to honey.
To implement a dungeon (that is a fairly integral part of an update) that requires a skill/luck level so high, I find rather absurd and very contradictory.
GW2 is about accessibility for every type of player. ANET banged on about this even before launch. To me it makes no sense that this has been geared up to be so difficult.
I think this is just down to a lack of testing.
Simple, i’d like the option to hide a players title.
The screen clutter is too much for me, especially the long titles like “God walking amongst mere mortals”
In same cases its six times the length of a players name – ridiculous.
You’re not compounding anything unless you include the profit with your capital when you re-flip…So basically each time you flip your increasing your volume – which is increasing your risk ratio on an already risky item to trade with such a measly profit margin.
Plus if you’re compounding 4% every 5 minutes for an hour I believe you are actually looking at something like an increase of 54% profit rather then 48% (if you were to not compound the interest earned on each flip).
Thats one way of looking at it….
The glass is half full, half empty or twice as big as it needs to be. All are correct.
There’s actually a lot of really good posts in the past explaining why people who “flip” items are good for the economy as a whole (drives transactions, helps buy/sell orders to converge to equilibrium).
I don’t want to debate it, but if you could point me in the direction of some of those so I may read them…it would be much appreciated.
Market Makers (people who flip items) provide liquidity to a product market by stimulating transactions. This is done through buying from those people who put items up to sell, and selling to those who put buy orders up.
This helps distribute income and wealth amongst the people of gw2
I’ve also got this issue now, it started today and it seems persistent in ruining my Saturday!
PrinceCola
That is the exact message I keep getting.
In the nicest way possible i’m glad this is a wider problem!
Never had any problems with this game what so ever, I have a stable internet and a decent computer that I keep clean as possible.
However, since his morning I have been have severe issues with the games connection, it has been extremely volatile and I have been thrown out of the game numerous times.
When I try to log back in, I am unable to connect to the client, when I am successful I’ll login to the game and it takes a good minute to load my character and characters around me, I’ll rubber band around for a while then everything will seem fine, within 5 minutes of normality I’ll get disconnected again.
I’ve reset my router and rebooted, I’ve played other games to test my connection, everything seems normal – except for GW2.
My question is, has anyone else got similar issues??
Is this a known issue? I played last night after the small update and didn’t have any issues, so i am confused as to why my game seems…broke, at the moment.
Thank you for the info!
Ok so i can happily replace the sigil and nothing bad will happen?
Hi
I’ve just got the Bifrost and i have one simple question.
If i replace the sigil…will that remove its legendary status?
Thanks
People are saying on reddit they are getting 2 exotics, 2 rares, the amulet and the bag……
I was at the event, all i got was 2 exotics an amulet and a bag.
How and why have you mailed out better rewards then those who were actually doing the final event?!
Whats the optimal (ish) stats for a GS Warrior
2.3k Power
2k Precision
1.2k Toughness
I have 52% crit chance
Is that balanced to far into crit? Is diminishing returns making this current build inefficient?
Any advice would be great!
I got lucky and picked up The Legend for 139g on Sunday just gone.
Now please tell me again how precursors have not ‘dropped’ in price
I think thats a price reduction of about 60% compared to the listings last week!
EDIT: Grammar
Its amazing how people bad mouth the design simply because they cannot overcome an encounter.
I’m sorry….what mechanics would you like to make it easy mode for you?
The fact you are doing the Fractals in a PUG speaks volumes. Get a decent group with your guild and go run it again.
This is literally the easiest one with some practise. It is so quick as well.
They are not ‘random’ spawns of trees either, you can easily time it.
This really is not hard.
Update: I have now completed the puzzle on a different overflow. Did it first time without an issue at the end.
The very last jump was deffo bugged on my first overflow server (yes i did wait for the clock to be smashed open).
I was pretty quick completing the clock tower when it was originally released, have done it every day so far.
Except for today.
Where i have failed the last jump 5 times. I have no idea what is going on, but for some reason it wont let me jump inside.
Is this a bug?
So basically last night i took part in the ‘one time only’ event and witnessed the cutscene of the status ‘blowing’ up and revealing a portal of some sort. I thought that was it and got super excited to get inside and see whats there!
Today i happened to watch a video of the cut scene and to my dismay, the cutscene included the mad king.
That was not the cut scene i saw last night.
Anyone else have that bug?!
(I am running the beta FOV)
Perfect challenge. Thank you!!!
LORD HEXDRAGON COMMANDS FOR A HEDGEHOG EMBLEM.
Not sure how else i am supposed to bring this important issue to Anets attention.
I have not directly called those people a bot, I have however highlighted behavioural traits of a 3rd party piece of software being used.
This is an assumption that requires Anets attention.
…..Nothing short of ridiculous that i am trying to defend myself for this thread
And on desolation
Firstly, I am sorry if this is in the wrong forum section or if this has been done many times before. But…
I was exploring around Frostgorge while waiting for the Claw of Jormag and stumbled upon a huge amount of people killing Grawl at Firesnakes Tail underpass.
This is what I found….(also attached one of the pictures if for some reason you cannot use the link).
You’ll notice in the pictures that everyone is running in a perfectly straight line. This seems to be the bots route and during that route, if a mob is near, they’ll diverge to kill it and return to the same running line.
I am on desolation server, not sure if this is an issue elsewhere but i can only presume it is!
Just wanted to bring this to peoples attention, hopefully a mod will see this!
I Apologise if this is a regular sort of post or i have jumped the gun…
Basically in the last 2 hours of playing i have sold 6 rare items on the TP for roughly 24s each.
The sale has gone through but the money has not come in.
I have made this thread to find out if this has happened to other people, if so is this a bug or is the money perhaps lagging a bit due to it being peak time?
Will i get my monies or am i one of money victims to the criminal that is the TP?
