WvWvW:
Min 55 / Avg 75 / Max 90
…Minimum 55 fps in WvWvW.
You just fight in WvWvW at the start place with some birds and cats?…
If you didn’t notice it, he has GTX 680 SLI. I get about 2/3 of his FPS with my single 680.

The Diving Goggles that is supposed to be at the floating stones bridge at Loch Jezt, west of the Durotl Grounds POI, is missing.
I have searched on all the floating stones and couldn’t find the goggles.
Server: Underworld.

can I stop the game from saving settings between dif clients?

There’s a chance that the settings are stored server-based with account id as the token, although I can’t confirm that.

@Cbuzz
How much memory did you dedicate during the test? The more memory allow, the more a realistic stress test it will be.
Also, IBT just uses the same Linpack instruction set as Intel, so you can barely get more authentic stress testing than this.
Edit:
IBT is not just about “passing” the test, it’s about the GFLOPS consistency. You can pass ten runs, but if your flops results aren’t consistent, then it means you aren’t stable.

@SolarNova
IBT is much faster to test CPU stability than Prime95.
15min of IBT is equal to 12 hours of Prime95 testing

Is it only GW2 that sound is muted, or have you experienced it in other programs as well? I would suggest you to update your sound drivers and see if that helps.

15% fee of the total sales price.
So 2 silver, 41 copper will net you 2 silver, 5 copper (mathematically rounding).

Just a little animation glitch I noticed a few days ago.
Inifite fire and ice breathing ^^
Note that it is only the animation that is glitched, and not the actual skill.

@Amnon
Word.
I´m running dual daggers and arcana/water spec with full cantrips focus, and can easily fend off for myself in 1v1 PVP. This is a survival build with focus on fast attunement switching and utilizing your spammable skills to the max, while being able to clear conditions and dodge like no tomorrow.
Edit:
@EnochDagor
I agree with what you said, the elementalist may work a bit more during the fight, but I really don´t see it as, “We need to master the attunements to get the DPS on par with the others”.
I see it as, “Master the attunements, and you will ride through the storm as a whole”.
Survivability is really what it all comes down to. As a glass cannon, sure you may be able to outburst a single target, but then his friend might come seconds after and kill you, because you would be too squishy or the good skills are on CD.
On the other hand, with survivability in mind, you may not kill that single target in one go, but it could give you time enough for an ally to come by (as like with the enemy) and help you to defeat the targets. And believe me, if it is just a 1v1, a survival build is more than capable to hold on own ground and most possible take a kill too in the long run, attrition fight.
My point is, dead elementalist = zero DPS.

It seems like your 550 Ti can’t keep up with your 3570k.

Even with a 120Hz monitor, there will still be stuttering, when vsync isn´t enabled, but the occurrences will just be less frequently.
Just keep in mind when you do turn on vsync, there will most likely be more or less an increased input lag (even with triple buffering).

Cbuzz, are you running with supersample and ultra shadows too?
That are the ones I´m not maxed, and on a good day I can squeeze the FPS down to 40.

The Wiki often has an answer for those kind of questions

I play an elementalist and found that the F1-4 keys were really not that convenient for fast switching style, aka. arcana build.
So I rebinded my attunements to ALT+WASD, one key for each attunement.
And rebinded skill slot 4 and 5 to Q and E. So I move around with conventional WASD.
Rebinded utility+elite to ZXCV.
That way I practically always have my keys available without moving too much around.
Also, putting your character to auto run in combat and then use the mouse to align correctly, can free up some mashing.
