Guild Wars 2

I wouldn’t say gw2 is lacking in things to do, there are tons of things to do, boring things that don’t give you any feeling of joy or fulfillment (a feeling of satisfaction at having achieved your desires).

Gw2 is a well sold lie.

I paid for it, had high expectation, turned out to be crap, i have every right to be here and do whatever i want.

Now like i said, play gw2 forever, and to quote you … “do us both a favor”

they will never get rid of the DR system, that’s how things are, they need to eat …. they are greedy kittens and leeching their customers to the point where it’s THIS obvious.

They released this whole game when it was NOT ready out of greed, despite their “when it’s ready” policy. clue clue ….. they will still leech a lot of $$$ as they have loads of fanboys and there’s no other new mmo out there at the moment.

you are all incredible, all of you kittening and whining about how to or not to get the gear, NONE OF YOU actually think you have nothing to do with it after you get it, that’s the real issue of this game.

Hell NO, so far i’ve been playing a lot of MMO’s and enjoying them, this is the only one that made me quit mmo’s and buy a PS3 …..

It was Arenanets promise that they would bring in gearbased progression, people have every right to be upset. There are plenty of games on the market with gearbased progression, I don’t see why GW2 has to go down the same path. All they are doing is moving GW2 in such a position that they are directly competing with WoW, and no game who has ever done that survived it. Atleast failed sub games could survive by going F2P, GW2 can’t even do that.

GW1 had a pretty small player base compared to other mmos out there.

You people are really stupid. Even if ascended gear has better stats, it’s something to work toward. You cry about not having anything to do at 80, and then that legendaries aren’t worth it because you only get slightly better stats – and now you’re crying over this? Most people don’t even buy level 80 weapons, and use 78 because the stats trade off vs value isn’t significant.

If you really want nothing to do, then go play a single player game. MMO is meant to evolve and introduce new things… even if they are new items with better stats, there’s got to be a reason for it. Have any of you morons considered that ANet is typically applying and changing things in RESPONSE to the community – as in you kitten asked for it, and that’s why it’s coming. They are changing acquisition of legendaries because people had a difficult time with it. They adjusted and nerfed professions as required. Do you idiots seriously think they’re just going to go and “ruin” everything they’ve spent so much time on setting up?

It shouldn’t hurt to use your head. And until anything official with official stats on these items are released, you idiots shouldn’t jump the gun. It’s kittens like you all that ruin games in the long run.

This has nothing to do with WOW or any other MMO. If you can’t progress, you’ll just go and do something else – lots of people stopped playing after hitting 80 – and even more complained how easy it was to get max everything. So stop being hypocritical and show some support – they’ve been listening to us so far, they’re not gonna drop something that’ll annihilate all the work they’ve put in.

I like how this guy puts things down, and so happens …. he’s right, listen and instead of whines give Anet some kudos.

Anet just made a brilliant move in my opinion.
Opening new fronts to this game, that has a lot of potential, and now when they are trying to extend it, you’re all whining and whining and jesus christ more whining.

Stop it and let them do the changes quietly, they are more then welcomed.

Well, the rewards for running with a zerg back and forth are pretty bad, not to mention it’s not fun at all ….

Nothing motivating about it, just like spvp, no ladder/rankings for players (maybe this would have been a good idea/achievement in order to get commander), just for servers … which basically encourages zerging.

Mind you I have never said anything like that, i just generalized that noone who ever plays a certain game admits it’s bad. Never did i mention gw is a bad one, after which in the second post I mentioned a few things that you can not like in gw2. It has a lot of issues that for some are indeed game breaking, if not for you … enjoy it.

I would very much love to repeat what i just said, but you can just as well read it all over again.

Intolerance: it’s a fact you can not like all the bugs in the game, all the lack of content, all the class “tweaking” post launch (take thief for example, i play ranger as a main, but ever since the start they did nothing but nerf that class, even the auto attack for rangers short bow “fix” where they nerfed dps for an animation glitch). How in god’s name are you soposed to like that?

It’s pretty obvious you didn’t even bother to read the post, it’s a well written post without any attack or insult to anyone (company or players), things are like that, but like most people you can’t accept the fact that the game is bad while you still play it (and not because it’s revolutionary, but because you got nothing else to do).

Anet has a lot of issues, managing forums is one of them, people complaints should NOT be deleted, they should be HANDLED, we are customers since we bought the game, i for one because of their marketing department, they sure did a hell of a job advertising and pointing out the good side of the game, they hid the other side though, which makes the good one look like a tiny little brother.

Different game modes in PvP would do a whole lot of good in my opinion.

You hit the nail on the head my friend, many of us have the same disheartening feeling right now, yet i still hope Anet will get their way around and fix some of the issues, especially the endgame.

However i believe in about 30 minutes this post will be deleted and me and you both will get infracted.

GW2 marketing department is the SOLE reason for the games success. They are actually the only ones who have done their job in my honest opinion.

My main is a ranger and i don’t think it’s a very good build first of all all those activated skills you mentioned have very long animations/triggers, which in pvp will be the death of you, and only after that you say to rapid fire for your main source of damage … that’s easily countered without any sort of stun/immobilize to keep them grounded while you take your time and shoot.

I find a shortbow and the axe/torch or warhorn build a lot more useful.

Just my two cents.

I’m sorry but that is not true, i completed the WvsW eternal battlegrounds yesterday when i was level 80, and i got level 43 and 46 rewards, a hat and pistol, so that information is not correct.

We are a fairly new Romanian guild formed by a bunch of friends that used to play other games together (such as Aion, League of Legends and more).

As most of the players, we’re just starting to get into all the aspects of Guild Wars 2 and we would like for more people to join our rooster in order to form a good community, several tournament teams, dungeon groups and pull our weight in the WvWvW content.

We’re mainly looking for romanians but all nationalities are welcomed into our rooster.
