I agree but at this point since WvW EB queues on tier one and tier two are about 20-40 in prime time NA when I play the game is pretty much dead for me. I used to play the boarder lands almost exclusively now I don’t because there is no one there and nothing one person or a small team can accomplish there. Im not sure what the powers that be at Anet were thinking unless they were trying to kill WvW if so then Bravo you have accomplished your goals!

I logged into my other account which I did not purchase HoT on and I have no issues at all. I have not seen this mentioned in the thread yet.

I haven’t seen this mentioned yet but it is only people with HoT accounts. I logged on to my no HoT account and I’m fine.

I can’t play for more than a couple min in WvW. Can someone from Anet just chime in and let us know what is going on? I’m on a MAC but it seems it isn’t only Mac players having the issues. Sad. First you drop some craptastic borderland maps making EB queued for ages and when I finally get in I crash. Can you make this right? Can you at least talk to us? I paid $100 for HoT and don’t even play the PvE content so essentially I paid for a broken game.

Just EotM which is already a giant fail ball for WvWers. Who goes there who is serious about WvW? No one thats who. They sound like they are putting more PvE in WvW which is just dumb! If I wanted more loot I’d do PvE content and I, like most of the hardcore WvW folks don’t give two poops about loot unless it’s from an enemy player. On top of it they are just going to nuke the boarder lands in favor of the new map.

The other solution would be to make the arrow carts LOS only.

But the fact remains if you use a windows and you go into windows mode you can shrink your screen making it long an thin and basically accomplish the same thing as many of the hacks, greatly increasing your FOV. So you aren’t really using a hack or violating terms of service now are you? So it’s and allowed “exploit” as you are not using a third party program or a program that is not already allowed by Anet. This allows placement of arrow carts in protected positions by players using windows in windows mode. Not all of us are on a PC using windows.
My solution is just give us all the ability to re trait our WvW points when ever we want. That way I, and other s don’t end up with a WvW point assigned to essentially useless traits like arrow carts. Yes I can use AC but I give them to people who are “squinching” their window. And pretty much everyone in competitive WvW and sPvP is doing it in certain situations. You can see when the enemy is stacking on the other side of a portal for a push on to the rams for instance. You can see over walls and hills so you have early warning of incoming baddies. It is done all the time. I’m willing to accept it but not when my traits are locked up in something that is essentially useless for me to use because I can’t partake of the windows shrinking that allows a more zoomed out FOV.

I just want my WvW ability points zeroed so I can choose another trait line. I play on a Mac and can’t utilize this screen shrinking in widowed mode to gain an advantage on an arrow cart. It seems fair to allow those who can’t utilize the advantage to re assign traits. Hell Why not just let us retreat like we can for our builds for that matter?

OK here goes but as we Mac folks have experienced in the past this will probably take months to fix if at all, and no one at ANet will probably address us directly other than to ban or suspend us for “not being positive”. Here you go ANet.

Still not working. I refuse to do some player generated fix as I paid for and continue to pay for, in gem purchases, a game that is broken in parts.

I have 2 infractions and I care not if I get a million. Anet is silent or wants US to fix this issue. Anet won’t tolerate legitimate criticism of its poor performance so I will take to the internet where they have ZERO power to delete my comments or suppress legitimate complaints like some petty dictator. Fix this issue Anet or just dump the mac client, but to persist with the silence is tantamount to telling us that Mac players don’t matter.

Gem store still does not work and my mouse is having intermittant issues as report by others with camera spin.

I still have not reset my ability points. I had them stacked in AC and was looking forward to building AC completely out but with the change to AC I am having second thoughts.

Thanks everyone. I have been using GW2stuff.com to track the temples. I have done 4 attempts since posting on 4 different servers and fail every time. I will keep trying. The number of badges needed to gear yourself up via WvW is ridiculous, and I play a lot of WvW. It isn’t even an option for gear IMO. Thanks Arena Net for that.

I’m not sure where you come by this info but I checked and it was not open. Not one server in NA was uncontested.

I think what we are seeing though is that Orr content has died a quick death because of the new content. Too bad because many new players will not be able to spend hard earned Karma on exotic gear forcing them to either grind out more PvE content or just move on to a new game. I’m geared out on one toon but I would love to get a second or third gear set but the temples are rarely uncontested anymore and I absolutelty hate dungeon content. I am a PvP and WvWer. I will take bets on how long it will take Arena net to figure out the problem and come up with a fix. I say 1 year if at all. If things go like all MMOs it won’t be until a big content drop. But ANet could prove me wrong. I hope for new players it does prove me wrong.

I have noticed that most of Orr is abandoned on most realms. Which I can’t blame anyone for. Orr is by far my least favorite part of the world. The problem is that all the Exotic Karma gear you can buy is dependent on temples being uncontested. If you want P/T/V gear Grenth is the place for rings, accessories etc… Is there someplace else to buy this with Karma? The number of waves to have to defeat at Grenth in particular is ridiculous and the number of party members you need to clear it is dumb considering there seems to be no one ever in Orr. I really want to get my Accessories but am sick of constant fails at Grenth? Any other suggestions?
