I see what your talking about, as I saw that with boss 1 and 2,with every defeat we pushed further little by little I saw the mechanics unfold and kinda see it with boss 3 but far less so probably due to the bugs my group always seemed to get. Just have to give it a week or 2 for the devs to collect data and iron out the bugs. Over all its a Fun fractal.

The first 2 bosses are fine they had clear goals on what to do each phase, but boss 3 I find is too random and buggy, like they mixed so many different mechanics and AOE attacks that they don’t synthesize very well and spirals out of control very fast.

I just think boss 3 needs to be looked at and make it clear on whats going on because trying to do greens, temporal bomb while being AoEed by 3 different attacks then dealing with vanishing floors later on all at the same time inst that fun.

Am all up for hard CMs nightmare frac is a great example, Just less random mechanics and more clear goals to work with.

Homing Rocks...

These homing rocks are annoying and don’t add anything but annoyance to the player trying to glide from one place to the next. It’s understandable that we now have aerial skills but its a bit much when you get knock out of the sky and fall to your death because you can’t reactivate your glider in time.

I think not having the player get knock out of gliding would be the best option, because I don’t think all of use can react fast enough to find the attacker and fight back.

Where are the capes?

Maybe they should look at these capes like cultural armor and have somthing for diffrent races like:

Human – Capes
Norn – animal pelt capes
Charr – Horns accessories
Asura – Ear accessories
Plant people – giant leaf capes

Just some ideas from the top of my head if anyone would like at add or suggest anything better.

They could be bundled together on the gem store like how the wedding attire is 10 unique designs for each race and gender.

More skills

And adding more skills will make it even more harder for Anet to balance and I guess many skills will be made usless like many skills we have in the utility and elite slots.

Have you played GW1 or WoW? both have many skills that never get touched or put on the skill bar. So for me we don’t need more skills until the ones we got are as close to balance and usless skills are made useful.

But ANet dose not want you to take a brake. If you do you wont spend money in the gem store. I do enjoy people telling people to go play something else, if everyone did that GW2 would be quite empty. The lack of content is hurting everyone. But it’s probably hurting ANets pocket more.

Anet did this to them self’s because they couldn’t figure out what was the best way to deliver content and is still trying to figure it out 3+ years later, but that is up to Anet to find out. Maybe they are working on content to be drip feed into the game for a few months when LS3 arrives. I hope they figure out what’s the best balance of delivering content during LS3.

If Anet wanted me to spend real money for gems they got to try better with the gem store pricing.

I agree with Waffle it takes time to create content and people should take a break or play other games, if you haven’t got anything else to do in game. I rather wait for quality this time around rather then having a rush job that was LS2 and HoT. So no I don’t think they forgotten about the casual player, just taking their time so they don’t make a mess like last time, hopefully.

The only thing I really miss about the old guild system was being able to have more than one guild boost at a time. Sometimes I want my karma as well as my gathering boost >:

Old Guild System

For me the old system was horrible, and guilds forced people to 100% rep even if you have a personal or friends only guild. So basically you was a free influence for them. I do understand that the old system supports passive play to gain influence which helped me gain a personal guild bank befor the changes, but it was mostly the 100% rep that all guilds was throwing around that stopped me form joining more guilds.

At the moment am in a small guild just with my friends mostly 3 active most of the time. And claimed a guild Hall with 4 people and now at guild level 25 so it’s possible to have small guilds, and some Gms can be done solo.

Your Pc is not the problem. It’s on Anet side so don’t worry it’s normal. You could have the most powerful PC in the world but with 4 gpus and it will still run the same.

I do feel 10k is too much, but it’s not hard just time consuming. You know people have responsibilitys and jobs.

The collection requirements are apparently tied to festival achievements. So what happens if you don’t finish them by the end of this season? Will Anet make the same achievements available again next year, or ever?

I just don’t know if I want to commit to finishing it by the end of this season, and if it can’t be continued then I don’t want to waste the gold to unlock it.

The answer to that is that the collection for winters presence will stay till next year but the 10k drinks is attached to this winterdays achivmenta which will be locked after the event. So am guessing the 10k drinks won’t be carried over to next year.

10k is doable but drains the fun out of the festive event. The way am doing it is selling my presents for around 9s and buying the drinks for around 7s to avoid rng, then buying the karma presents after saving up enough after playing the bell choir. Am close to the 5k mark so it is doable if your willing to pit the effort in.

I play conditions warrior, own build and I can reach 10k burns and 4k bleeds on bosses using Berserk spec Sw/T and LB, iy requires you to stay on your toes for upkeeping burn stacks. But I agree engiis king when it comes to conditions.

Just did the event disconnected at 1 min left of the event got back in lost my reward, this is what you get for having a 30 minute event with no Grace period for when you disconnect.

I give up now.

Here is what I found wrong with the event:

  • 30 minute event, were if you get disconnected for what ever reason you lose out on you reward and not everyone can stay for the full event.
  • Every man for them self tag fest, because to gain maximum reward you have to tag every event because people what to get all the rewards at the vendor before it ends.
  • Looks intimidating to new players, my GF started to play and she had zero fun on the event and I could see why.
  • Reward vendor charges Gold as well as blossoms, a big slap to the face for new players who may not gotten enough gold.
  • Big Grind Fest, yes i would like those skins and it would cost me 900 blossoms to get but I am not able to grind 900 blossoms in 4 days because we have responsibility and jobs with no idea if we are to able obtain blossoms after the event.

Event wise here is what you could of done is looked at Sillverwatse, you get rewarded for each little event, what you could of done is 1 event = 1 or 2 blossoms, downside to that is its still a Tag and run job. Maybe a server wide reward for the amount of events completed thought out the 4 days and peoples rewards are given after the 4 day event, I see that this idea would bring more cooperation and organization and get people group up and covering a sections of the map to help complete events faster. The downside I can see is that people could complain about players who didn’t participate in the event and AFK the whole event and gain the same reward as everyone else.

I understand that it is hard to come up with an event that makes every one cooperate and were it is balanced in its rewards to everyone, even when I think about it there’s always a downside to every idea.

Remember first impressions stick, it will make you leave with a satisfying feeling or a bad taste.

It sad to see this event end up like this, Anet want people to co-op and help each other and bring new players in with the vets, but from what I see it is turned into a Every man for them self Tag Fest.

I believe they should of made it like silver wastes were each individual event gives a Blossom and everyone should work together to achieve a higher event completion count for bonus Blossoms.

30 Minute event is a bad idea it forces people to stay the whole 30 minutes when we might only have 15 minutes to play before we go somewhere and if you disconnect you lose your stacks and maybe your reward.

Mobs need to scale to have higher HP and give XP so you know if you help killed it, it is the only indication we can get to know if we tagged it. Also whats the point in MF if we get no loot.

The reward vendor should not charge Gold on top of Blossoms its a slap in the face I know Anet whats a gold sink but do it on something that doesn’t get in the way for event rewards.

This event feels like amateur game developers handled it, I love the game and have been playing for 3 years but things are lacking.

Remember the first impression will always stay.

Same problem weapon master achievements reset to 4999/5000 and monster slayers 999/1000. Also the Pumpkin Carving still isn’t fixed. I don’t mind the Weapon and monster ones since its just 1 more kill but the pumpkin carving is what gets me and i don’t what to wait till next October to get it again.

I agree stealth is annoying but after trying out thief class i can see why they need stealth you can get downed easy if you spec everything to be on power and crits. Also there are ways to countering just be smart when you play and use skills to its maximum.

Um there is an achievement for explore every Point of interest in all paths. Other than that not sure what to say

Not really exploring because you most likely get those during those sub stories.

Not enough exotics drop from Champions ect

I agree with many that rewards for events or chain of events should give you a decent reward. I believe that taking down champs should always give 1 rare or higher and doing an world event like taking down the dragons or doing the temples and their chain events should always be rewarded with at least one exotic in the chest.

Anet needs to encourage players to fight champs and do these world events or even any difficult event. Seriously I got an exotic from killing on of those tiny spiders that die in 3 hits during the Spider Boss in AC and got bugger all for killing the boss itself.

Never see anyone fighting champs and i can see why. Hell I do it for the fun but theirs never enough people.

Real Dungeon Exploration Mode

I don’t see the point in having it called dungeon exploration mode since really its just sub story with in the dungeon, following a quest line. Why not have a true exploration mode that rewards you with actually exploring the dungeon and defeating bosses, doing other events and finding secrets and more if anyone whats to suggest.

At the moment ascended equipment doesn’t give you a boost its like having exotic ring or back with an gem attached to it and the infuse slot, now we just have to see if they bring ascended weapons and armor hope they just like exotics but with the added infuse slot or pay a fee to change your existing weapons and armors to be ascended have infuse slots.

When I hear people say acceded will boost your stats it’s nonsense I think its a down fall since you can’t change the extra 3 stat boost you usually get from adding gems. I think these are just for people who what to do high level fractals.

I agree sPvP needs a big fix and more content added to it.

About WvW player render maybe because of you graphics card because I sometimes play on a macbook pro and I have that player render problem and when I play on my desktop it’s completely fine, also you have to factor your processing power as well.

Waypoint and Death

On death the closets waypoint should be free its bad enough that we have to fork out more silver for repairs and waypoint fee on death. I understand the repair costs but adding 1s 30c for the closet waypoint is adding to frustration usually when doing jump puzzles.

Another is during jump puzzles how about on death you get put back to the start of the jump puzzle like in the jump puzzle in Lion’s Arch when the you choose which path to jump down and on death you get put back to the start of choosing which path to jump.

Trading Post: Items for Items

Here is an idea how about Item to Item trading post, so people can trade weapon for a weapon or materials for materials for example I have 50 Fangs but I need 50 claws, I could offer it up on a Item to Item trading post for the 50 claws or any other offers people would give or if you are looking for a certain core you could trade the cores you you don’t need for the cores you need.

Just an idea if anybody wants to add feel free to do so.
