I think when you use fire magic it should burn trees/foliage away and scorch the earth. The environment looks wonderful guys but its not very destructible at the moment. this would be awesome because you could have harathi bandits stampeding and trampling the ground where they run, destroying things and such. just an idea

When runes that proc an effect do so, maybe have a nice visual effect to it(if not just for pve)
Ranger spell where squirrels crawl and bite much in the same way as the karka hatchlings. Playing Crab Toss all night had me thinking.
I would like important and server bosses to have different tactics, dialogue(if humanoid) attack animations and death animations. and I’d like to see more damage on big enemies guys, the textures look great but when we are all hitting them and they look the same… it’s like….dissatisfying

Can thieves have abilities while in the air too please? maybe even all classes? but especially thieves. I’ll buy a ton of gems if I see this implemented
My guild is saying there is no guild waypoint system, by which I mean a way for a guild to lay a map marker just as you can lay your own personal waypoint. Is this true? If so why haven’t you implemented this feature
When I kill a Veteran Mossheart, I can walk through him. I understand the principle of this, but I suggest maybe in the future making them solid so that when my axe wielding warrior kills them he can jump on top of one and toot his Warhorn.
Also I think the blocking animations should start fitting the attacks now, so instead of just seeing a status pop up, I see the monster clash against my defense. This would be pretty cool, as Norn and Charr would have a more brute force block, because of their increased strength, and human and sylvari could feel less immune to the force of say, a jotun blow.

I think different races should have different parts to play in group events. or maybe professions could have a specialized quest objective.
Engineers repair the warp gate. Charr defend against the risen. Also there should be a dynamic story where players have to escort another player to a destination
I have a rough Idea for a new profession. The concept is that the powers you use are specialized to your race. Maybe sylvari having some cool plant moves or a charr being able to be very fierce and physical (in a ferocious way), Norn with skills that conceptually fit their size and strength, and some kind of engineer/elementalist hybrid. Human racial abilities all call on their gods, so perhaps the humans would be clerics? Maybe they could actually revive from dead, because there is currently no skill that does this.
tl;dr The different races should have a profession that allows the developers to create a more specialized attack animations. I don’t imagine a charr and a human would have the exact same sword form
Also, could you allow us to auction items within our own guild in addition to the current global market? Just wondering…
Please make a spear weapon available on land. I really think all the spear skins look amazing and I think there should be more weapon types available in general.
There should be the option to add a sound to incoming /whisper and party chat messages.
The waypoints on the main map should glow proportionate to how many players are near them, so that you can easily see where the player population is gathering in a zone.
Playing these giant norns should feel like playing giants. You feel like a cotton ball falling to the bathroom carpet when you jump as a norn. The men look like action heroes, yet they run the same, don’t gather momentum, don’t run much differently from humans. Same thing with Jotun. When I knock down a jotun the earth should rumble when he falls. He should smash breakable envioronments around him that he lands on.
attack animations should be more varied. There should be maybe 3 different ways to animate a particular attack chain or spell cast and they should randomize
Please add customizable powers. I don’t like the purple mesmer glow, would rather like maybe have flame effects, or ice, or at least a different color hue? please?

Ok, make waypoints on the map screen glow brighter the more players are within radius of it.
Sometimes during these dynamic quest lines have something different happen, like a 30% chance fate takes a different turn and a dragon appears, or the story plays out differently, or a giant monster appears. I’m thinking like sometimes in the maw line the svanir shaman quickly finishes the ritual and you have to fight him and the giant ice monster. Dunno.
Have different attack animations between certain weapons?
The world is starting to get more populated, but we need more giants. there needs to be some more variation in the enemy and npc types, and I think it’s about time we considered visible armor damage.
Norns are so big now but I don’t feel big when I play, the ground needs to rumble, when I move I need to feel that bulk somehow, I’m sure you’ll think of something.
Thief should be able to bribe an enemy to fight on his side until it dies.
Maybe think about limbs and body part animations?
I like how the svanir spawn by kind of falling in it looks more cinematic but there should be more stylized and varied deaths
All in all a tremendous buildup Ijust really hope you continue adding and creating variation and randomness so I don’t become a maw doing zombie.
We wither need to have some jumping attacks or we need to have new powers while aerial. I like how combat is different for each class, the mechanics work differently and still synergize,
but the moving, with the exception of the asura, seems like it could use some work, it looks corny sometimes. Walking up steep hills looks the same as walking on plains. When I run into a low fence, something should happen. when my power clashes against the wall maybe it could bounce off, maybe make it so when you hit the wall with the greatsword twirl, you bounce off of it and increase the duration of the power by half a second.
The environment should affect the player models more. In lions arch my Norn completes the jumping puzzle by walking through solid rock sometimes, without crouching over. When my character is stealthed by a fellow thief I don’t drop into a sneaking stance. You get what I mean. there needs to be more of this. Oh and make stuff get destroyed by attacks. Like maybe allow fire attacks to set buildings on fire, and then maybe add an event where we could fight it.
Here is the perfect scenario. I am very heavily crafting. I use my hour buffs wisely. I go to the Leatherworking Station and check in discovery how many items I need. Then I open BLTC window and start looking up prices for the pieces and the components.
Sometimes, invariably either to withdraw gold or check the craft window for reference, I click to my existing open crafting tab.
Here is the bug: I click back to bltc and get ready to search, or maybe input the amount desired I wish to buy, or set the price of my wares, and when I type, instead of looking up [Darksteel Ingot], I wiggle around the screen and auto run out of range, or even more catastrophically it closes the trade window.
It’s at this point that I’m slamming my poor old Dell RT7D20 keyboard violently with meat clubs that, for a moment of searing hot rage, cease to be recognized as hands. So please, Arenanet, I know you’re in the middle of sculpting the best game I’ve played in 10 years to keep me interested, but could you pretty pretty please fix this issue. Please? My keyboard will love you.
It’s the holidays, you guys are having sales that are only for a day, so I’m hoping you’ll add a feature to the cash shop to either purchase this item for myself or mail it to a friend. Maybe around X-Mas time allow us to use the mystic forge to pack account bound items and send them to friends? Like the Lost Shores care packages. Or how about this a server wide secret santa event where you pack items and they get swapped
you had a way of telling the value of the items because you granted merit points during lost shores, just make brackets by which you qualify an exchange for, so scrooges that pack [Stick of Butter] get their just desserts! xD
So what is the future of FotM? Are they going to just add more and more fractals and make it a random draw? I like all the different areas. I like all the non combat fun and puzzles. I’m wondering if it might be a good idea to allow users to create unique content with what’s available so far.

Guild Wars 2 and CoX both owned by NCSoft. CoX servers going offline, and I think it would be hilarious to have an instanced mission with the CoX environment.
Why would we need a tank passive or any kind of taunt? That directly contradicts this game’s design of NOT HAVING TANKS. There are a hundred MMOs out there that have tanks and taunting. This game is trying to do something different. You’re not supposed to be able to tank.
So what do you call norn guardian bear form’s power? thats a taunt. i just dont want a once every 90 second taunt man jeez. at least a single target taunt come on

That kind of attitude gets you nowhere. Have you tested it to see if it doesn’t stack? Have you asked other players to test it to make sure it doesn’t stack? Have you looked at the bug forums to see if it is a known bug already?
That attitude up here just leads to whiners and trolls. If you want to be of use to the community act in a manner deserving of attention. As for the taunt, use a couple of AoE abilities, works on my necro really well. I use one AoE and the mobs persintently wish to pound my head off even though I am doing the least damage in my group.
Yo dude there’s no attitude. YES it doesn’t stack. YES i’ve tested it, and it’s not just with those 2 types of runes, I’m not even sure any offhand runes work over the primary. but most DEFINATELY they do not stack why the hell would I post something without doing the initial legwork.
If it isn’t about this specific problem, I’d ask people not to spam my thread up with how you think I should word my suggestions.

The fire sword is cool but not very durable also there are no ranged weapons I’ve found that my character can pick up and use from the environment. You can make strong weapons with cool powers as long as they break after a while. How about against huge world monsters, or in those areas we must defend against an onslaught of attackers you have turret structures we could enter or activate to do damage? How about the best contributor to map events also gets a pretty durable item as a prize.
How about in Lion’s Arch you build a stadium with an octagon where you can have in world pvp that can be spectated in realtime, and winners get like a champion aura for like 20 minutes.
