Well first of all if you have trolls on wvw map you just ignore them and follow your tag (how could a few people make map unplayable?) and when you have at least 1 troll in pvp match you are 4v5 (or 4v6 if he is going for instant death instead of afk only) and its instant lose, you could realise that, it`s not that hard or is it?. And as I mentioned before, The Ascension destroyed pvp but I still like to play vs player but it`s not fun anymore when 1/2 of games are loses because someone is raging and complaining instead of play.

The Warbringer will bring a lot of pain to wvw just like The Ascension destroyed pvp because of pve heroes who are going yolo 1v5 and blames their team and then afk or troll. I left pvp because of them and now I’d like to try wvw but I can’t find any good build for warrior. Everyone says go metabattle and use those builds but wvw builds there are full zerk builds also. What stats should I use? Will marouder be good for going gs axe shield? Or should I use other stats and weapons? I’d like to stay alive as much as possible and be able to kill those filthy thieves who jump on you and run away like cowards and repeat (I know that this is the way you play thiev but its still annoying) and I dont think tank build will be good because I won’t be able to deal any dmg to them. Well I forgot to mention that I am talking about pve in this topic. PVP is a different thing because warrior is just OP there and we separate PVE and PVP. In PVE with those chages we had damage boost and still people testing axe/axe say that its 20k DPS and how is it compared to 35k+ dps of ele for example. I dont think that PS at current state needs rework, absolutely not because it makes warrior useful in every group but if we could play PS/CPS or DPS it would be nice and axe seem like should be a DPS weapon.

I agree we can not have everything at once that’s why I think we need to have a choice to be support for team or deal good DPS. For example having 2 PS warrior in raid gruop will support team with might, banners and empowered allies and you could always get into groupn as DPS having no banners, no empowered allies, just focus on dealing dps.

Don’t you guys think that 7% of most skills is far from being enough? Axe needs to be buffed to the level we could call warrior a DPS class. Don’t get me wrong, I play gw2 every day, I main warrior and I do play raids(or I used to untill I crafted my leg armor)/fractals/pvp and I love the game but slowly I`m getting fed up with the fact warrior is only a support class in this game. With the balance patch we got 7% dmg buffs on most axe skills but 7% won’t change the fact warrior is far behind ele, thief or guardian in terms of dps. The only thing patch may change is replacing mace with axe for the 5 might with burs but thats all. I think that warrior as a might provider support is a good idea because we are wanted in every group but we need more than power support or condi support choice. We need more possibilities, This is just my opinion and I`m wondering what you guys think about those changes

META is something that community creates not devs so please next time if you want to show us your frustration at least use real arguments instead of “Devs are bad, they don`t want us to play tank engi and I want to play tank engi and I can`t because bad devs made up meta >:(”

And remember that there always have been META in game, I can remember when farming cof p1 was a thing. Guess what, there was a META (Mesmer + 4 warriors) no other class allowed. Then Dungeon farming where we had 1PS/2Ele/1Thief/1Guardian no other class aviable and now we have current meta which is pretty good imo because now at least you can bring any dps instead of ELE only.

I find dual class something worth looking at but on the other hand try to look at this from the AN point of view. You must realise that they would have to make 9×8 different combinations (or 9×9 I didnt play gw1 so I dont know if there is a posibility to make pure warrior or smth). They would make and release it one by one or all at once so people would complain about “Why did you make Necro – Mesmer and I didnt get my Ele – Thief” since people think they are the most important person in the world and only their ideas are good and the rest are garbage or there would be complains “why does it take so long” lets face it, it would take a lot more work than elite spec system we have now. Design is not the only issue, balance is. Unfortunately even if it sounds great, AN won`t make dual class a gw2 feature.

I`m not sure if you know that but actually ALL 2nd generation legendaries were probably finished long ago. They just decided to release 1 legendary weapon per content patch so we feel like the patch has more to offer. I`m pretty sure Anet finished legendary armors long ago aswell but they will release it with “HUGE CONTENT PATCH” when we will have all 2nd generation weapons. It`s all about that they have to include something more than personal story to patch to make it feel bigger and more interesting.

While entering this post you probably thought “yet another hyped guy” but I actually have opposite worries. I dont want them to be asap, I want them to be released in a few months or later. Why is that? I just started my journey with raids and I find it really fun. I`m doing now 9 kills per week and I`m slowly getting my LI`s. And here my worries begins. If they intoduce armors in like 2 months, I won`t be able to get 150 LI`s in time. I`m worried of “Legendary armor” requirements in LFG and it would be terrible because I pug raids. So far I couldn`t find any guild to play with because most of them just teaching new guys how to raid and basicly we never killed a single boss. So how do you guys think? when will we get those?

Hello! I am currently looking for raid guild so I could start my adventure with raids. I`m pretty experienced gw2 player and I`m learning fast. Prefered language is english so I could understand everything. I have no problem with using ts. I`m fresh in raids so I`ll need some practice runs and it would be nice if the guild do raids more often than 1 boss per week. I`m 22 yo and I`m active player. Imo if they introduce the legendary armor for raids, they should make another one for next expansion because of expectations. But there is another problem with that, it may be raid only aswell and it makes it even harder. Knowing the people, when a.net introduce legendary armor LFG will be like: “W3 legendary armor or kick”

That is sad because if it will look like this for a few next months I`ll just probably do the same as many other players did in my situation – quit gw2 beecause the only goal inportant to me will be impossible to reach and I don`t blame anyone. I just feel sad of my bad luck. I have put a few posts on different forums where I wrote that I am looking for a raiding guild but no1 wrote to me and it seems like I won`t be able to get my legendary armor. Right now I am finishing my Ad Infinitum, I have a few other legendaries so I won`t have any other goal. There is still pvp but I couldnt stand those people who afk ranked matches because we lost 1 fight on mid.

Hello guys! After a 6 month break i came back to gw2 and I fugured out that its seriously IMPOSSIBLE to get into raids right now. Ofc people say “find guild” or “make your own LFG” but first of all i am polish player and I have been looking for polish raiding guild and most of them understand raiding as “we are doing 1 boss per week and we dont actually kill them but we try” so i`m getting angry cuz I can not find any raiding guild so I could go with guild mates. Making my own LFG ending up 3hrs of waiting without any effect. I know that there are people who entered raids without any problems but while i`m reading forum I can see that a lot of players can not get into raids at all. So my question is if we can expect that in the future we will get another legendary armor which we could aqquire in other way than raids? Dont missunderstund me, I dont want Arena.net to nerf raids or make legendary armor easier to craft, ofc not. But I want they to make it POSSIBLE to craft for everyone. It`s not like only small amount of people should have legendary armor, that is nonsense. Legendary armor should force you to spend a lot of time and gold to craft it but it shouldn`t be impossible to craft because of community. Remember that gw2 was supposed to be different mmo and all legendaries untill now were possible to craft to everyone. You just had to spend a lot of time and patience to craft it. What do you think about that guys? And please dont hate me because “he is that noob guy who can`t get into raids” I really want to and I`m prepared to do it I just can`t find any group and I don`t know how to change it. Don`t say “you could play instead of having a 6 month break” aswell because it wasn`t my fault. I had to move out and for 6 months my internest speed was 0,01mb/s so I coulnd play because of 8k ping!\

Hey guys I decided to quit pvp in order to make Ad Infinitum back piece.
My problem is I will need Shard of Crystallized Mists Essence to make unbound and even if I`m 56 lvl in fractals and I got 1 of them only and I`ll need much much more. Is there any way to farm it? Or i`m just a next unlucky guy who won`t be able to make any legendary back piece? I feel like Ascension is impossible to craft since I have no guild mates I can play with and you need to get to diamond at least once…

At least you got out of ruby – the worst division you can stuck in.
I`m in ruby and I won`t ever get higher.
Twice had 3 tier and now I dont even have a 1 pip at all.
90% of games there is a guy who complain instead of play/afk/leaver.
No chance of finding a guild who would play pvp and even if I found it ppl were just meh.
So be happy you, left the worst div and now just climb into legendary!

I`m looking for a pvp guild cuz I`m tired of random guys raging instead of play a game.

Well this may be a silly question but main achievements are called “Year of the ascension”
and this name is confuzing me. Will the legendary backpack be aviable forever or just for this year?
You can say “a year is enough to complete those” BUT I have no guild mates I can play with so the only way is to play with randoms and this is pain. I am extreme unlucky guy who won`t be able to reach ruby… If you play with randoms you know that division is a matter of luck mostly. So the next question will be: How many season restars can we expect during this year? The more resets the more tickets for ascended backpack.

People just complaining about that ele get warhorn or warrior getting torch. You must understand that the elite specs are the way to make weapons like warhorn or torch or shield more popular. Now in game we can see only greatswords or longbows or daggers or staves and this have to change and this is how elite specs gonna work. Ofc you can say “necro is getting a GS” and I will say “because this is making necro more playable, not GS”. Hope you people will understand now how it gonna work now and in the future and stop complaining about “how elite specs are lame”.

Hey I love the idea of leagues but since I play gw2 I can not find any pvp guild and I`m forced to play solo. Most of games looks like ppl doeasn`t even use “team” chat and doesn`t care about map mechanics like cap points but they just fight pointless in random places. So my question is will there be matchmaking when leagues comes? Will it queue us based on our league or it will be just free for all and let amber players play vs legendary ones (if those leagues are named like that. I can be mistaken) or will it try to make teams with players who has almost equal experience?

Hey guys. With HoT comming new 3 legendary weapons but it the future we wil have full set of them and it would be awesome if we could mix Frostfang with new legendary axe and get something like Eternity now (some half frozen-half on fire axe)? This is just my imaginations and it is no suggestion cuz I know that Anet has their own ideas and won`t listen to someones imagination I just want to know what do you think about something like this or mby you dislike that?

There was a panel and the only information we get is that we will get HoT in this year.

Just finished my 5th game and 5th lose in a row. Obviously ppl have problems with understanding that mid doesnt give your team more points than the others. It is impossile to win when we fight 4 vs 4 on mid at the beggining but if 1 person die the whole team will die soon and thre it begins – when 1 dies there is like 5 vs 4 already then it becomes 5 vs 3 etc and then when you respawn you run on mid again but you are alone. You die and untill you respawn your team just did the same thing you did and this is the whole game. No1 cares about far, no1 cares about close anymore and you lose this just because your team is too dumb to try to regroup before run on mid if they want it so bad. And there is one more thing. When you cap point it doesnt mean that enemy team cant cap it for themselves so please stay there for a moment and make sure that this point will be yours. Use treb, kill lord – do something other than commiting a suicide by going mid 5 vs 1 the whole game. I know that you will tell me “QQ more” or something like that but when I see afk in my base and he says that “I won`t play this, it`s lost already” when we have close for us, and its 50 vs 100 points… this guy were just moving time to time to not get dc while others were on mid ofcourse… If you read this just think about how do you play pvp – if you are the one of a few players who know that cap points is more important than fight in random places then great and I like you already but if you mindless fight under their base just because- think about that this pvp map is not about that and what should you really do. Thx for reading and please don`t blame me for that post, I`m just angry because I can`t play 1 normal match with ppl who know what to do instead on just fighting in random places or they don`t know about that there are 2 more caps than only mid.

So it is nice that specs are making weapons like shield, probably warhorn etc useable BUT those are useable for classes which couldn`t use it before. My point is that guardian for example is a class associated with shield as the icon says but even engi with shield is better. So how about that next specializations would redesign the way we use weapons we can use already instead of adding new types of weapons. It`s important for us to be able to use weapons we like and don`t be kicked from party just because I dont use graetsword.

I dont want to make every weapon doing the same – might. I want to make every weapon usable for whole team so everyone could use any weapon without any complains. Having 1 build in game is just boring dont you think?

Thats why I want changes to make other weapons doing something for wole team just like ps warrior. This idea needs trait changes.

So I have a problem with that ppl dont want me in their team if I dont run PS build. I really like my axe/shield build but there is no use for those weapons in pve. Ok dont nerf gs but make axe, shield, sword, warhorn, mace useable. Who wants axe/shield warrior in their team when gs warrior can stack 25 might only by himself? Please think about it and give us some more options of playing than only gs :(

PS I know that there is pvp and wvw too and there I can use those weapons but I have made Legendary axe and shield and I dont want to keep them in my inventory and use a common gs to fight mobs. Hope you`ll understand me ;)

Will I be still able to play pvp or wvw? I`m a bit afraid that specs will be op compared to what we have now.
My main is warrior and pistol or torch doesnt`t interest me at all. I love to play my axe/shield & longbow build but I don`t want to be too weak.

Actually I belive beta will start after we know every spec so we all could try spec we like the most. For example I`d like to know what spec will warrior have and someone else would like elementalist spec and A.net can`t give it all at once. We will have to wait a few weeks.

I`ve made already a legendary axe but guardian with a longbow spec may make me leave my warrior. I wanted my warrior to get something awesome but most of speculating were right and now I`m arfraid that warrior will get pistol or smth and I don`t find it fun at all. What do you think guys about name of this guardian spec name? Let me know below

Actually I think that Gem store need Ice armor set and I dont mean furs but something made of Ice. I have nothing I can wear with my frostfang.

Hey guys dont you think that there is way much more items with a fire motive? Flame set from a.points, flame set for gems, armor pieces from CoF, Balthaar back piece. And what about the icy items? As for now I know the only head piece with icy motive and it`s from achievment for something done in gw1. It`s only 1 item and i mean only armor pieces cuz there is a lot of icy weapons but I can not see any outfits that I can wear with my Frostfang.
And for those who say there is recently added outfit on witersday event, it`s winter motive not ice.

Well i`m waiting for some news about HoT about classes (I`m waiting for the rest of specializations, others know what will they character do and I play warrior a lot and I don`t know about any changes in my class), Revenant weapons set, New legendary weapons ( I dont know if should I finish my legendary or just keep mats for a new legenaries) and I don`t care about how will they look, but I need to know if this will be made the same way or the mats are now expensive will be useless after expanion and a lot more. We haven`t any information since a 4 days at all so I think they are preparing something for us. How do you think when can we expect something? Are you waiting for this as much as I do? Let me know below.

Human male looks like a…. I don`t know how to name it if I dont want to get ban on forum… Human male doesn`t look like a man but like a pop star nowdays. Do you think we can expect new hairstyles before HoT? And I know you will tell me do charr or norn or smth but human male is my first character and he has like a 2,5 year and I don`t want to leave him.

Hello everyone. I`d like to ask what do you think about changing a race with a total makeover kit or other new tool? I feel like I made terrible mistake and created Male Human warrior. Now i feel a Charr is a better chose for me but making new character would be such a waste for me now. 100% map complete, fractal lvl arround 30, even a cakegun for 2`nd birthday is a funny thing and I`d like to still be able to use it. I know there would be a problems with personal story but I`m sure that it`s possible to do this somehow. Meaby reset personal story and no rewart till the lvl it was reseted or smth.

I love play pvp but in gw2 ppl has no idea how to play it. Now I mean only ranked games:
- Ppl afking and games are like 4 vs 5 and it happens often
- Ppl fighting in random places instead of cap points and then they don`t know why we lost a game…
- 9/10 games ppl don`t use team chat… srsly play pvp and don`t use team chat during a ranked match? Why ppl are so dumb?

Everything above is about games with randoms and I know that you will tell me now “go play with your guild” but it`s still hard to find 4 players who wants play pvp. Finding 1 player is easier. And my problem is I can`t find any pvp guild because I`m a casual player. I think that 2v2 arena would be a good idea and many players would like to play that instead of 5 vs 5 with dumb randoms who don`t even use a team chat.

Don`t be mad at me it`s only how I see this and you can have other opinion

HoT get me excited and for sure i will buy it because I find ArenaNet worth my money BUT what to do now? HoT won`t be released sooner than a half of a year because they didn`t tell us even a price of an expansion and there will be probably beta tests and a little bit time for pre orders so my question is will We have to wait all this time before anything new comes to game? Expansion is an continues of current living story so it looks like there won`t be anyting before HoT is released.

How about warrior using a staff but without any magic? Using a staff as a melee weapon just like a monk using a daiboo. I`d like to see that more than a pistol or dagger.

There is something I don`t understand about specializations. Will there be only 1 aviable spec for every of existing classes? I mean it`s ok and it`s nice if we can play with a new way but if there will be only 1 spec for everyone then it should be named like a progress or smth if I have no choice between specs? Or meaby there will be added some new specs in the future? And the most essential question. If I stay with my build axe&shield/longbow on warrior then will I be still able to play pvp or will I be forced to use other build? It`s important to me because I made legendary shield and I`m close to make legendary axe so it would be a waste of time for me if I will be forced to play the other way and change my build just because it became useless.
