You dont know much of the story behind the game do you?
Check your combat log. If they displayed siege numbers for everything you hit on the screen, it would create one giant mess. Arrow carts also hit on a tick basis so it doesnt do all its damage upfront. I have hit doors/chokepoints with catas and have seen lots of numbers and bags.
You need to learn battle tactics and how to move on the field. If you see them retreat and you know they are going to do this, then back off. Most AoE stealth that can hit more than 5 people only lasts 3 seconds. Give yourself 5 seconds running room or AoE where they were to hit them ahead of time. Do not complain about organized play if you cant adapt to a situation please
KAZ and IRON have been some great opponents this week. You really sparked a fire under our kitten and made us rethink how we needed to approach battles. Doing a little dance to let you all load in before engaging seems to be the best strat so we can actually see what we need to kill.

There does seem to be a lot of one server being focused more than the others, but that is part of the strategy of the game.
Fights have been fun on all fronts and VS is bringing the numbers like they usually do. Keep the fight strong all week and GL.
Does anyone know of a way of getting different stats on the legendary items without breaking the legendary status? I am in the process of making the rifle, but would rather keep the berserker stats on it instead of having the soldier’s stats.
ANet, are you going to allow us to choose the stats on our legendary weapons?
VS has some CRAZY night time coverage. Not sure how they can field so many bodies without recruiting from other timezones. Great fights when they were even though
This is starting to become very annoying for me and is really making me not want to PvP or PvE in the game. Playing as a rifle warrior, i randomly have my shots obstructed by nothing? Open field fights, slight elevation, level ground or even just fine line of sight between my characters top half and of the target and shots still get blocked. What is causing this and can it please be fixed?
Almost every other legendary has some cool footstep effect (Bolt has one of the best IMO) but both the pistol and the rifle have none? I understand it has cool particle effects and sound effects, but in the middle of large AoE or big fights, you wont see or hear those.
Maybe im just sounding whiney and wish to stand out more (other than having a kitten sniper rifle) but i guess im curious why some got the footsteps and others didnt.
Curious why one of the largest and coolest legendaries doesn’t have footsteps? Is this an oversight or were they just not implemented with the weapon?
I love fighting RG. Made a major difference in the way I look at WvW.
@Dylan – They nightcap like NO tomorrow LOL. Just find it funny they reached out to NA guilds asking for help and then do what they were complaining about.

We were actually strongest server on EU match up, but you probably know the move of americans players as RUIN for don’t name them on desolation server. These guys came for broke EU gameplay by cap all the map on our night hours, then over EU guild moved on for conserve their catch during the day.
So now it’s a real problem for us to have a correct game. And that’s why we need you.

I must say, this fight has been fun for the most part. There have been some issues with Skill Lag for the NA players, but something we have worked around.
VS – Bringing in other guilds to help win the match, nicely done. You guys will really do what it takes to win wont you?
BT – You skirmisher squads, kitten they are a fun fight. We are learning a lot from you and hope next week is just as fun!
SFR – Your “pugs” need to learn to work together to take objectives, not go chasing 1 or 2 people off and ditching the commanders. We are trying to help you guys win and give you a fighting chance, and we cant do that if you wont assist us or follow.
I fight for the love of the fight, if you need trinkets or rewards to do wvw, go play WoW.
How often are you in WvW?
Being able to see player names in WvW would add a new level to WvW and give players a sense of pride. I mean if you have a nice hard fought battle with someone, wouldnt you want to know who that person is?
Jedahs does not speak for the whole of the SoS WvW community….
But I must say having him back would provide some means of entertainment when map commanding.
Being one of the more known commanders on SoS, I have a couple things to say about WvW.
1: We need something new. Running the same 2-3 routes in WvW makes things boring. We need to be able to do something different otherwise it just becomes a repetition game.
2: Bags/Badges….. Dear god what were we thinking with this? Being a map commander, fighting in large scale fights, the large amount of AoE that classes can dish out and I still have to manually loot all of my bags? Im sure I have missed a couple precursors or a few hundred gold in loot bags. Make them appear in a chest or just in my bags in general.
3: Map Balance: This has been said before, but I wanted to put it out again. The maps seem very imbalanced. Sure having 3 repeating maps with rotating spawn points seems a logical way to balance things out, but this isnt the case. 5 dedicated people can hold hills for an hour easy. 20 people cant hold bay to save their lives. One keep can be sieged from a near un-counterable position while the other cannot be hit without great risk?
4: Rewards: One armor set per armor type, with the same stats on every set? That doesnt even begin to promote build diversity. You should be able to get every crafted set/dungeon set from Badges and/or Karma without having to go into PvE. I mean granted we get a lot of karma from capping stuff, but people still have to go all of the way to Orr or one of those zones to get their karma gear, and even then they dont all have the stats we want (Where is the Knights/Zerkers/Cleric’s karma sets?)
I love WvW. I love the strategy that it takes to make your side have an advantage if you dont want to run around with just pure numbers, but having nothing new to do in 3 stale zones just makes me not want to play WvW anymore, and im sure as heck not going to PvE for another 7 years.

The 6 piece bonus on this does not appear to work, or is not correctly reflected on the Hero information screen. I tested this last night on my warrior. Without Fury i have 77% Critical Damage. With Fury and 6 piece of this rune set, still states that its 77% critical damage. Damage does not increase on this also. Can we please get this looked into
There is a broken skillpoint in Malchor’s Leap near Bayt Fallahin. There is no NPC that spawns there and this is being reported on all servers.
