Person A pays $99.99 and gets his stuff immediately.

A few minutes later Person B pays $99.99 and is made to wait 3 full days (and yes, the “up to” is bullkitten, it’s a full 3 days now) during a time restricted gem sale. Person B notes the money is gone from his credit card account the same exact way Person A’s credit card was charged. Person B wonders “WTF”.

Person A tells Person B, “Hey don’t get angry! The fine print says you’d be screwed.”

If ArenaNet is having a major fraud problem they should pause the gem sale. And pigs will fly.

Excuse me for wanting the same customer experience that other people have gotten. You know… actually receiving the fully paid for product and being able to take advantage of sales instead of random delays that many others didn’t have to experience for no fault of my own.

Guildmates claim to have gotten their gems instantly. That $10 gem order I did earlier went through immediately. The full $99.99 posted together on my credit card with the earlier $10 fully posted to my credit card yesterday at the same time. As in the full finalized credit card company wants you to pay them transaction, not a temporary transaction. One day after post still no gems.

And every contact with support apparently has a 12 hour delay. Nothing but four letter words right now. So much for being interact with a human being to resolve an issue. ArenaNet managed to take what they would want to be a routine event (giving them money) and making it stressful with this stupid delay combined with a time limited sale.
You just turned gems into a source of stress instead of instant gratification. Good game. Here I am waiting watching the gem sale tick away wondering if ArenaNet is trying to screw me out of the $20 worth of gems for the full Account Jump pricing for something completely out of my control.

Has anyone managed to successfully get kitten refund by reducing the tier or a full $100 HoT refund without the account being terminated as a punishment for daring to demand the product paid for actually be delivered?

JQ TS was the deadest I’ve ever seen it during NA prime on Wednesday and Thursday. The vast majority of commanders willing to pin up for PUGs took the week off.

Thanks to Luvpie [FANG], Not A Commander [SF] and Bruv for pinning up on EB for a couple hours during NA prime so at least there was something to do other than AFK at a supply camp or farm Silverwastes.

You’d think this game was completely DEAD based on TS population after Monday.

This week it’s all flipped. People use EB/BL to ktrain in primetime and the guilds that would normally avoid EOTM farm it for bags. The other two teams ragequit 15 minutes in and leave the map effectively “breaking” it. In the the use case for both is screwed.

Not complaining, more laughing at the unintended consequences.

I’d expect a few bugs but…

I’m encountering stalls in EVERY STEP of this kitten episode. Episode 1 and 2 were fantastic. Episode 3 has been overshadowed by these persistent event killing bugs. For an event to kick off and actually work first time… I can’t even imagine what that looks like.

What happened with this one?

EDIT:

Looks like you can sometimes catch a working copy of a zone by using guesting to try to get assigned to a different megaserver. Zone out of the affected zone, go to the character screen, guest to a different server, log back in. Both times I’ve done it when re-entering the zone while guesting I’ve gotten a different megaserver that wasn’t hosed.

The event in Frostgorge has been broken for me since patch. Sigh.

Does guesting even do anything anymore?

Nowdays, I worry more about WvW than BG as a server.
Anet is keep throwing PVE stuff every 2 weeks and its killing the WvW.
Less and less people showing up for WvW and this is causing issue for servers
and guilds. T1 servers are now filling 1~2 maps only on NA time.

TF2 is more fulfilling than WvW because in TF2 you can collect hats.

So now that the weekend is over it’s clear this week is going to be the following in NA prime:

- SoR capping out every map with it’s organized zergs
- JQ capping out JQBL and EB with PUGS, maybe BGBL will flirt with a queue but will mostly be small guild groups and PuGs
- BG tapping out completely and not bothering to show

Most boring T1 week in ages. Either JQ needs to get kicked down to T2 for another week or two or BG needs to get kicked for TC.

Since ArenaNet can’t be bothered to control their own message let’s play a game and speculate on why WvW is down. It would be irresponsible for us not to speculate.

I never said server population is an indication of WvW population and I don’t believe it is. As I said earlier right now WvW population wise, SoR has the most population in NA time, BG probably has most population in Oceanic/SEA time, and SoR right now has most population in EU. BG always admit that we have more WvW population than JQ now since we beat you several weeks ago, however we are not the most WvW populated server as some of you claim.

Server population wise, both TC, JQ, BG were full with TC and JQ being full a bit longer..BG may have received more guild transfers more recently but JQ got a huge amount of guilds when free transfer ended…

If you’re using the server transfer population screen as an indicator then you should be aware there it means nothing. SoR shows up with higher WvW populations in time periods where they are “Very High” and JQ ends up with Outmanned in two BLs while being “Full”.

The population indicator on that UI isn’t limited to WvW population. It’s ALL population including our many PvEers. JQ has always been a busy server since day one. It’s the WvW population that changes.

It’s what shows up in WvW that matters. And BG has a clear advantage. The fact many BG forum warriors don’t want to admit that is amusing.

JQ had a very strong WvW population but could use more players to even head counts with BG and SoR. Expecting PvE focused players to step in and fill the gaps in a 24/7 pvp game format is not realistic.

JQ was the most stacked server since the days of HoD, winning T1 by 80k before BG came. To say you have population issues is laughable.

Any interest in transfers should have been sent to JQ. I know for a fact that anyone that Indo talks to , he recommends to them JQ or BG telling them that SoR isn’t in a position of accepting transfers for the health of the tier.

I never appreciated until now how tasty BGs tears are in this forum and amazed they are able to be produced at such quantity! My hats off to SoR for using their extensive history with BG and their superior skill at drama milking BG. JQ simply can’t compete.
