NA EST time zone. I bought the expansion for the first time yesterday and need a new guild and don’t like being on a Tier 1 server (Maguuma). Back when I last played Maguuma was Tier 3. I’m a very dedicated player and spend hours in WvW. Just looking for a new home as I experience the expansion.

P.S. (Willing to transfer servers).

FIST in talks about transferring over to DR. In fact we are pretty much banking on it.

First of all, I was not on at the garrison fight so it wasn’t my defense. While you guys took our garrison we took all of Anvil Rock. So who won there?

Well we are used to people stopping at sentries in BP and we get wiped because the zerg splits.

Anyway, YB looks like it’s holding it’s own. I heard about maguuma and ML that went there as well as LEET awhile back. I’m not looking into EU servers, sorry m8s.

I’m talking to my guild now about what they want.

I’ve been in Borlis Pass since day once. Talked about switching servers before, did, but missed BP so I went back immediately. I fight in WvW as a commander for atleast 8-12 hours a day. Not saying I’m the only one in BP that pulls that type of shift but it’s the truth.

But when it gets to the point, to where I take my gold and spend 3 hours upgrading our half in eternal, then another 2 hours upgrading the northing side of our borderlands. Just for a fully upgraded garrison to be taken by 10-15 Anvil Rock guys and (from what I heard) one golem? Yea I’m pretty much done with BP and so is most of FIST.

What server out there needs more presence around 12-4pm EST time. We also have a decent presence overnight. We are not a 300 member type guild, just around 90. But all of these 90 people are very active and dedicated. Of course not all of the guild will follow, but I know some of the members will. I take pride in being a good commander. That’s the reason I hate leaving BP, is that a lot of PUGz love me because when they run with me we do fun stuff and I get them karma (Best way to control a PUGz zerg is to use the sentries. NEVER expect them to run past the sentry.) Heres some screen shots of the past 2 weeks.

These are just the good memories I have in Borlis Pass.

Right because all Borlis Pass does it just go straight for the gate. I can’t speak for the rest of the server but I can promise you FIST loves catas. And golems.

Well, now [ML] left Borlis Pass and have went over to maguuma. And I have yet to see any guild talk about moving to Borlis Pass. I myself wouldn’t mind it either way. None the less, I still love this server and it’s unique people in it. Just letting everyone know who left.

@ Arcxander.9836 – Thanks m8, it has been a blast. And that castle defense easily goes in my top 3 memories from WvW so far.

@Eva – Sorry about the ego trying to control it but I guess it was just the thrill of taking all of GoM borderlands, then AR + their orb, then our orb, then eternal castle. And then we get yelled at by our server because we didn’t defend what we took. So yea we were a little pissed.

Haha man that was a blast between BP and GoM at the castle. Been so much involved on the offensive it was a blast to be involved on the defensive. Heres some pics haha.

Heres the update of the score, as expected they are taking everything back. the BP server should wake up soon though.

Well, my guild FIST night capped GoM and AR, took AR orb, took back our ORB then took the castle in eternal. Pics, enjoy fellas. Great fights.

For the record, you can repair the altar. You just have to be carrying supply then spam F next to it. It works believe me.

I’m at it right now, they keep killing the altar and we have to repair it and place it back in the altar.

Guess I have no choice but to farm these guys to keep the orb safe. Fix this Anet, or else!!!!.

Q.Q a little more GoM and AR. Again, I stand by my statement before. Good sportsmanship is good and honest feedback. Besides the reason BP is getting defensive is because we have heard it all before. We are always outnumbered in BP, thats the name of the game when it comes to us. Our players just got smarter and use good tactics.

Whether you want to troll and say we don’t, we do.

Well, I think if 15 people take an entire borderlands that deserves a pat on the back, and if those 15 people did wipe a 20-25 man zerg a couple times that deserves a pat on the back.

Claim me to be as you say it, then so be it. If you don’t like the truth then next over-night, stop us. People can be nice on this forums but what is good sportsmanship if you don’t give good feedback.

So my ego isn’t big, it is just the truth, deal with it.

You’d actually be surprised how hard it is for BP overnight. You just have no idea. Your entire force was in eternal trying to cap everything and FIST took advantage of the situation with 4 golems. Do not claim ‘night-capping’ on this issue. The sad part is we took your borderlands over with 10-15 people and were outnumbered but we still wiped you a few times. You want to get better as a server then try and get some more PvE guilds involved and show them how fun and how much karma you can get from a raiding party.

This is WvW, not QvQ.

Yes, the both of you. Attacking Borlis Pass at the same time. Sure GoM is catching up in score, I wonder why. Sure isn’t the amazing fight AR is giving us unlike you GoMs. Night final time.

Hey guys, someone from Borlis Pass here. Just stopping in to cheer on my friend’s server. go CD!!

I’ve been playing since 1AM this morning in WvW, I took pictures of the last thing we took before I got offline. So please don’t tell me what I need to do. And the pictures are for an update on the score and for the GoM people wondering how they lost all their upgraded things.

So don’t call them silly, I’m going to bed, night.

I say you guys all just stop QQing and typing a block of text no one is going to read.

Updates from FIST:

Haha nice, I’m the leader of FIST and we were there defending the orb with what little numbers we did have online at the time. I can say that it was a blast. I was the annoying warrior suiciding onto the trebs and repairing the north gate.

Darksavage, believe me when I say borlis pass does not have any new guilds that xfered in. Only two new WvW guilds are FIST and EDGE. And they are both lead by people who are in the server and didn’t xfer in.

Sorry to hear that about Fergs Crossing. You should stick with your server. The only main WvW guild to leave BP was LEET and they went to maguuma. Other than that we have no quiters here in BP, period. And no one has yet to transfer to our server to make a difference that I have noticed personally.

I’ve been in Borlis Pass since Day 1 playing WvW every day. And I can personally Promise you that not a single main WvW guild transfered over to Borlis Pass. This is all the Original people of Borlis Pass. We never left and never will. #ForBP

You have got to be kidding me Anet… You just pissed off tons of people.

You can do each of the jumping puzzles in each borderlands once a day, and you can earn honor badges not only from them but from killing players and guild claimers too.

So, how do you guys think this week will turn out? I hope it’s a great one filled with a lot of action and great sports man-like fights!

1) Sabal The Faithless – Countless times I have seen Sabal take charge on the field and get stuff done for Borlis Pass. If it wasn’t for him, not a lot would get done in our borderlands or eternal battlegrounds Post-Reset. He is in the guild [ASx]

2) Hadann – Once my leader now my equivalent. I have seen him and Krew do many, many things in Borlis Pass that other guilds do not do. Anyone who disagrees with that is just blind by how big of an impact Krew has on the Borlis Pass server. He is in the guild [Krew]

3) Good Grief – Boy have I seen this guy develop into possibly the best commander in the server. He was the first one I saw that literally just sat back and let everyone else command even though he had the capabilities to lead. He learned from the commanders that failed and the commanders that succeeded and put them together to form his commander skills. If I had the choice to follow someone in battle, it would be Good Grief hands down. He is in the guild [ML]

Honorable Mentions – Satanic, Plok, Redzone, Vlad, Silva

Now I do have to say, I’ve built quite a reputation my self. Quite a few people in Borlis Pass know me. Maybe not a lot but a few do and that few know that I can get things done. Whether people disagree with my tactics or not, they work.

Proof that AR is shooting for 2nd place, Borlis Pass does all the work an AR takes advantage of the situation in EB.

Okay first let me start off with what EVERY WvW guild wants and thats to deposit guild siege EQ into the bank. I think it’s unfair to the WvW guilds if they can’t do this. I mean you allow us to drop it why not allow us to deposit it into the guild bank?

Secondly, WvW guilds get angry when a random guild claims something and doesn’t have any buffs active. Also we get angry when we can’t compliment a guild when they properly upgraded something fully and built a lot of siege. So please have the guild claimer state the name of the guild that has claimed it, please do this.

Thirdly, I honestly do think this is a very good one. The tier 3 upgrade that repairs the walls and gates should also add a shield above the tower/keep that prevents it from taking thunder damage from the quaggans. That protects the siege from being destroyed and would be a HUGE important thing to get.

Fourthly, I think the movement of the dolyaks should be SLIGHTLY increased. I’ve done this multiple of times, left the waypoint at the bottom went all the way up north to kill a dolyak that has been on the move for awhile. I think you should time it to where the dolyak reaches the tower just before the worker is done using the supply after a full load. I think this would help encourage people to kill dolyaks and protect them as well.

Fifth of all, Golems should be able to attack walls and jump. Theres been multiple times where golems have to use the underwater exit at dreaming bay because they can’t step up onto the piers.

Alright to recap on what ideas I’ve stated;

1) Deposit Siege into guild bank.

2) Display Guild Name (maybe where we hit control the name on the banner pops up?)

3) Tier 3 Sky Shield

4) Increase Dolyak speed

5) Golems should be able to attack walls and jump (this makes it helpful to attack the water-gate at dreaming/dreadfall bay.)

Well I’ve been playing WvW from 8pm till 10am. And seen and did a lot. Had some epic battles today against EB. Had a trolling commander redzone or w.e his name is build rams inside of a tower.

None the less I recorded a lot of video from over the night..

Every time we get into a battle I don’t think once I was able to see the enemy, I died atleast 5 times running into an invisible zerg of 20. And it’s not my rendering.

Too discouraged to even take a tower or supply camp. Gotta love this screen shot of people idling at waypoint (including 2 commanders, one has his tag off.)

And no they weren’t gathering to go to another battlegrounds they literally gave up.

Well that was a joke. Just lost the orb in Anvil Rock because people seem to think defending a tower was more important than defending the orb. 6 people defending the orb, 15 defending the tower. GG. It sucks I love Borlis Pass too much to leave it.

Just giving you an update on the launch

I don’t have a large guild but want to switch to a server that needs NA players.

^^^^^^ and the weather nodes are what destroyed the altar. What do you think the thunder is for and why none of the altars are covered by a roof besides one. (I think, not sure if etheron/askalion/shada has a roof over it or not.)

Then don’t forget about the weather node in the middle when it pops up. And this altar being destroyed won’t happen anymore. Besides I’ve heard reports of altars being repair if you get a group to spam F next to it.
