Sorry, but it is a stupid idea to make changes in a game work backwards.
Starting with the day, people can get gold for PVP, it should be paid out.
Never ever it will happen – in no game, at no time.
But on the other hand, when you don’t know the difference between hotjoin pvp and tpvp, than you will probably need some practise and learning the basics of pvp.
Than hotjoin will be the better choice. Its a place with not much balance and fairness, people will leave in the middle of the game, sometimes the players will get shuffled and change the team, …. and so on. But you can learn to use your skills in a good way, you can learn about the skills of other professions, and you will learn the maps and about tactics.
Where are these WoW fanboys come from ?
Guys, there ist still a wow forum. There you can discuss with people, saying that wow is dead again. ^^
@Divinity, if I wanted to talk about WoW, I would go to the WoW Forum.
And in the other way around, I would never talk about GW2 in the WoW Forum.
Why should anyone want to discuss about WoW, when there is a lot to discuss about GW2.
Try once to mention GW2 in the WoW Forum, and you will see what you’ll get.
It is never smart to do, not in the one way nor in the other.
I for myself, like both games, and the most I like the difference between this two games.

@butch, its different to express the own thoughts in peace, or being shot from all sides with different views of the problem from different people.
In a forum there are 100 pro pvp’ers posting their own personal solution for the things they belive that are a problem.
Thats why, in the most forums imho, you will not see devs discussing game problems with the gamers.
