I can’t believe they are doing this, i am honestly and deeply disappointed, month after month i get disappointed again and again, this is never going to end guys, we are being tricked and we are always getting our hopes up and then we end up sucking a big kittent kitten.

Why am i forced to lose 2 freaking pipes just because some dude decided that we don’t stand a chance to get at least some points before a match even started and went offline so he can lose less pipes as he thinks.

Because of a leaver we lost 500-100 so naturally we lost more pipes.

One guy left before game even started because he saw a fractal backpack on me and assumed i’m total pvp noob.

The reason you’re not appearing is because the PvP leaderboard was frozen at the end of the last PvP season, which ended in May. It’s unlikely to change until leagues come along with HoT.

Either they have worst web programmers in the world or the biggest bug in entire game development history or they just don’t give a kitten, i mean search is not working for last 3 years and i guess leaderboards wont work for next 3 years wth is this?? Fixed forum search as a major feature in HoT would bring 10 times more hype than content that they have shown us so far….

This is good to hear, i dont want to be able to master everything in a week.

Idk why did i ever expect to get 20 new legendaries, making new ones as the story goes will prolong that for next 3 years and at this point 3 months looks like it will never going to happen.

Bump after Blix event “fix”.

It took them 3 weeks to change 1 number (event reset timer).
I’m trying but i just can’t understand this kind of work behaviour.

Is it laziness or just bad business? Who is responsible for such small patch fixes?
Does the guy making decisions on this kind of fix have a room and walls full of paper and on them written numbers from 5-15 and then he is like mind blown and trying to figure out what number to put on new reset timer and in addition it takes him 3+ weeks to do so. What!? How!?

I don’t know, they need to change something and fast, people are getting unhappy and mad all across Tyria in every segment of the game.

Good point Apolyon, i also got nothing not even 1 precursors in 2 years of playing and forging.

Rewards are really poor for unlucky ones

So as most of you know there are hundreds if not thousands of people farming and intentionally failing Cursed Shore Blix event. Community down there is ok, everyone is working towards something ( minus griefers, saboteurs and terrorists :P) and even that “something” is not the best thing in the world, we get to hangout, joke and make friends.

Now what can we do to stop players from failing events while keeping community stacked together? Nerf events so bad that no one wants to play it anymore and send them back to killing world bosses? Lets Not!

What we can do is make every next event in event chain a bit better and more rewarding then previous one. It is in human nature to progress, to want to move forward. In case of Cursed Shore farm there isn’t much to look forward to, so players chose to stay in the moment and use best thing they have.

Moving Forward

To keep moving forward players need a good and motivational reason to do so. And what better reason there is but to give players more champions with each next event.
ATM at Blix event i belive that there are about 10-20 champions spawned per round.

We can start slower at the beginning of chain and then exponentially or linearly increase number of spawns as we push further into Shores (could also work on other maps).

Same thing would go for pre-events, but with decreased number of spawned champions.

Champion Counters

Idea is to have champion counter integrated in event overlay. Main purpose of this is to literally show players that with every next/new event in event chain comes an increase in number of spawned champions.

I think that seeing constant increase in numbers, players would most definitely be motivated to continue event chain and in the end successfully finishing it.

Happy Ending

By finishing the entire event chain, players should be rewarded with little something something. I think that additional rare+ chest (Such as World Boss Daily Chest) should be awarded for everyone who has finished last or last + 1-3 more events in event chain.

Additional rewards would bring additional dose of motivation to the players and they would be even more eager to finish event chain.

Everyone got so bored of this game, everyone was excited at beginning but now, every patch, every nerf is another letdown, there is nothing else for us to do in this game.

It is true that this game has become biggest grind fest ever, due to me being so unfortunate and me being unable to get an item more expensive than 15 gold, or God forsake to get a precursor after 3.5k hours of playing i am just too tired and too saturated of the same old content. When i log in , i’m just running around in circles for an hour and go offline. I feel really sad about the state of the game at this point.

Well thank you kittening mega servers, there is no one in our map, and we can do nothing to change that, no way to get into better overflow.

Another way of ANET saying don’t play our game and go to bed

If they want players to focus on learning the core game experience , they need to give players much better rewards, not few boxes and a green wtf is that kitten.

Increase reward for team effort and you will increase number of players willing to do it.
If you take reward away from events no one is going to play it.

If they wanted to teach people how to work together and achieve something with it , they should have given out a better, much much better reward for it.

Who is going to play this bullkitten? Everyone left pavilion after an hour, you cant even get tokens anymore because no one is left to do events. 2-4 champ bags and greens for 6 legendary monster, wtf is going on, every patch is bigger disappointment then last one. Thousands of players come back in GW2 to see if anything is changed to better after patch and what they find is that situation just got a whole lot worse then it was few weeks/months ago. ANET is trroling hard again or there is massive reward fix coming over night (nope)

Since pavilion is absolutely destroyed and no one is willing to play in it, you can go and play wvw to obtain tokens, and later to obtain tickets lol

What kind of rewards are you talking about, i didn’t get any good reward since i started playing this game over a year ago, and i have been everywhere and done everything there is to do.

You cant get feeling of accomplishment if you give your best, play something for hours and then in the end you get absolutely nothing

We waited a long time for this patch, and now when patch is up, there is nothing to do. 90% of the people are running in circles and saying , wtf , boring, zzzzzz and stuff like that. Some have already given up on new content. Cooldowns on events are to big. Make it 20 mins or so, bosses don’t drop anything anyway

Custom Graphics Profiles are in my opinion much needed.

Guild Wars 2 versatile as it is deserves more then just 3 fixed option settings. With all this game modes, places (WvW , sPvP, Dungeons, Fractals …) and new content that is coming out so fast, we need to be able to make a Custom Graphics Profiles in order to achieve great visual and gameplay expirience in all aspects of the game.

Everyone has a different PC and i believe that i’m not wrong when i say that we all have to change our setting more often then we would want to.
Usually i have to change everything from top to bottom after pressing autodetect or best appearance/performance in order to play in WvW or casual PvE to gain better visual experience or more FPS.

Example of using Custom Settings
If i want to record gameplay during WvW battles i would use my WvW Recording Profile with lower resolution and lowered graphics settings, and after i’m done with recording i could simply click and change Custom Profile back to my Casual WvW Settings.

Good thing in GW2 is that we can change setting very fast without having to restart the game or wait for crazy amount of time before settings would apply.

Not a lot of brave hearts walked across the borderlands last night. We had a very few fights with organised guilds.

For all of you who are avoiding fair fights, and wont attack unless you have a group 3 times as large as we have i suggest you to go on a treasure hunt and find some courage.

Some WvW Action

This are among ugliest and most repugnant armor pieces yet. This is a disaster!
I would rather drown myself in a pile of kitten then wear some of those pieces.
I’m super disappointed in that design.

My question is simple: can i use rapid fire option that i have instaled on mouse in gw2?

This feature allows me to only click once and after that mouse will autoclick another X times.

This is auto instaled on my CM:Inferno mouse.

I need it to open large amounts of karma and orrian boxes , with this i don’t need to manualy click on item 10000 times and waste 2 hours just on clicking.

Is this feature legit for use ,or i can get banned for it?

I know they said you will need to pay for Custom Arenas, but i also belived that they will in some way give PvP gamers a chance to get gems through the game.

I’m saying PvP gamers need to have same possibility of getting gems as PvE players have.

Few months before we had that option, you could have earned gems by wining in tournaments, that option is gone now and its a huge disappointment to large scale of players.

gems were ALWAY meant to be purchased with money… gold purchase is second way if you dont want to spend real money and its very nice from devs, so the point that you cant get gold in pvp to buy gems is irelevant imo…

If gems ware always meant to be purchased with money then we wouldn’t be able to buy them with gold . They are here for player that don’t have much time to spend on game but want to have good and nice stuff like everyone else.

And how in the hell can you say that this is irrelevant, this is most crutial thing for the future of PvP in gw2, how can you not see that?

How can a person get gems or gold witch are required for renting custom arenas trough gem store if we play sPvP only.

Will only option for pvp players be spending real money, and getting custom arena that way?
If that is true you may just adress it as Pay to Win , as it brings lot of benefits and practice space.

We need to be able to earn some kind of reward in pvp, if you have no reward people wont play this part of the game and that is the hard truth.

sPvP will continue to lose more and more players until there is some sort of reward for hard effort and time spent.

Now if you try to take from us opportunity and a chance of getting custom arenas with ingame currency you will lose ALL OF US, and gw2 as esport game will never see the light of a day.

Either the after-patch people need to have their 10 laurels removed, or everyone that did the pvp monthly before-patch needs to be rewarded those 10. Quite simple.

I agree with this, every time there is a bug , glitch or an exploit players are getting advantage of it, doing that should not in any case and by any means be rewarding or satisfying . If you are not going to balance the error by giving us the same stuff they got then take it away from them, don’t let them cheat the system.

I personally think that at the end of every successful mission guild need to get influence as reward, or at least a big influence boost for 24/48 hours.

Hey guys,
me and my friends started to play PvP, and we are getting better every day but we have a problem.
We played 4 years of GW1 pvp and we were very good at it. Now we are facing a wall and we cant pass it. Our problem is a mesmer portaling his team from one point to another, we can’t catch up with opposing team and we always end up losing because we can’t hold points for fair amount of time…i honestly think they need to change portal mechanic or get it out of sPvP
Do you guys have any good advice and ideas for us on how to beat portals, and how to counter that build.

You can try and leave 1 monster alive at all the time and just ignore it so that other wave dosn’t respawn. Thats how we did it.

Me any my team had the same problem, Lupicus was to hard.
After hours of trying we finally did it, and this boss is now a piece of cake.

Tips:
Get skills for evading .
Get Endurance refill skills.
Buff your armor/traits a bit.

230 lvl 78 exotics = 0 precursor , and no good lvl 80 exotics

Will this be inserted in Store?

For so many times i have runned out of tools and i wished that i could buy some from Gem Store.
I think im not alone when i say we need this stuff, and i think people would actually buy this every day if necessary.

Have you guys ever tried to put 4 same or different dungeon items in mystic forge?

Could this be a secret of getting a precoursor a bit easier?
Maybe 4 swords from Arah could give you a fair chance of getting dusk?

I hope someone will be brave enough to test this theory and show us the results.

EDIT: Ok i have been brave and i put some stuff in mystic forge.
My result :

I used about 370 rares = 23 exotic [ No Precursor ]

And about that Achievement points, i think its just sad that you get same amount of points for completing some 5 mins puzzle and completing all of the dungeons.

As far as i know you can’t get exotic from drop anymore. Am i wrong?
