Formed in Spring 2016 the guild has achieved an incredible amount. LoA has many lively and friendly guild members that have been fantastic in helping with guild upgrades, participating in our events and generally being fun to be with.

Activities
Guild missions
Missions are held twice a week, Tuesday and Sunday. This is done to give all members the opportunity to join in the fun, gain guild commendations and loot. There is a chance to be awarded ascended chests from Guild missions and the guild commendations can be spent at merchants in the guild hall. So there is plenty of reasons to join in.

Elite Spec HP Run
On Saturday fortnights, we run an Elite Spec Hero Point train. This is our most popular event within the guild and community. 25 HPs are required to unlock the full track of an Elite Specialisation. The run consists of acquiring all the HPs in Verdant Brink, Auric Basin and 3 in Tangled Depths and usually takes no more than 2 hours to complete.

Fractal
We do fractals every Monday evening. To give everyone the chance to take part we have two parties. The first party does t1-3 depending on their party members, whereas the second party does t4. This allows all our members to been given the opportunity to take part.

PvP & Dungeons
These events a fluid and have no set time, they mostly occur when people ask in guild chat. We have several experienced pvperrs and dungeoneers.

WvW
We currently have a small presence in Seafarers Rest led by one of the guilds co-leader.

Gw2Community
The Legends of Avalon is a proud member of gw2community, and as such we encourage our members to join in the community’s events (but not obligatory). Guild wars 2 community run a wide range of events, from daily Triple Trouble, Dragon’s Stand runs, Dry Top, Temple Runs, to social events like The King and Queen’s Horrorween and Wintersday Extravaganza.

Scribing
We boast an almost fully upgraded workshop, with access to most of the required upgrades to reach level 400 scribing. The guild offers membership to those that wish to train scribing. Please contact the guildmaster if you have any queries.

The Legends of Avalon [LoA] welcomes all EU players to join us for our Saturday fortnight Elite Spec HP Run.
Meet at: Shipwreck Peak Waypoint [&BN4HAAA=] (First Waypoint in Verdant Brink)
Time: 7:30pm GMT (Server Time) – Run commences at 7:45pm
Dates: 28/1, 11/2, 25/2, 11/3, 25/3, 8/4, 22/4

How to join the run?
We will have an advert on looking for group (lfg) from 7:00pm GMT.

What does this run consist of?
25 Hero points are required to fully unlock the Elite Specialisation. Starting at Shipwreck Peak Waypoint the run will do all the HPs in Verdant Brink, Auric Basin and 3 in Tangled Depths. Note that the run also does an extra 2 HPs for those that may have missed some.

What masteries do you need?
Verdant Brink: Basic Gliding
Auric Basin: Basic Gliding & Bouncing Mushrooms
Tangled Depths: Basic Gliding & Updraft

Do I need any waypoints to be unlocked before joining?
The only waypoint you will need at the start of the run is Shipwreck Peak Waypoint in Verdant Brink. We will unlock the ones we need as the run progresses.

How long does this run take?
The run usually takes no more than 2 hours. However, this greatly depends on how quickly the group moves, help each other, and follow the commander’s orders.

What route will we take?

If at any point during the run you feel like joining LoA, then please mail the commander and you will be invited to the guild at the end of the event.

Activities
Guild missions

PvP Training
We train every Wednesday to help ease rookies into PvP and help experienced members to test new builds. For rookies, we explain how PvP works, the mechanics of the maps, the tactics, the roles of some classes and more.

King of the Jungle – Tangled Depths Meta
At 12:30 GMT the guild commands tangled depths meta on a daily basis. We have four reliable commanders with 100% success rate. We are also looking for new recruits with commanding experience to help out and take over if any of our leading commanders are absent.

World Boss Slaughter Run
On Saturday fortnights we slaughter some world bosses. Starting from Modniir Ulgoth and finishing with The Shatterer.

Elite Spec HP Run
On the other Saturday fortnights, we run an Elite Spec Hero Point train. This is our most popular event within the guild, allied guild and community. 25 HPs are required to unlock the full track of an Elite Specialisation. PvP Tournament (Semi-annual only)
Every six months we host a PvP tournament, where our members and allied guild join in to determine the strongest. Teams are formed at random from the participants and we use a point system to determine the winners. Winners are awarded with a cash prize and a monument in the guild hall so their victory is forever remembered.

Fractal & Dungeons
Usually the guild runs fractal and dungeons events weekly. However due to some real life things, our members that host these events are currently on hiatus. Despite that we still do both fractals and dungeons when guild members call or need help.

WvW
We are also trying to expand our activities to WvW, with weekly ventures into eternal battlegrounds and borderlands. These WvW events are held on Seafarers Rest.
Please note this is currently in a trial period.

Gw2Community
The Legends of Avalon is a proud member of gw2community, and as such we encourage our members to join in the community’s events (but not obligatory). Our allied guild is Llamas in Pyjamas [Lip], a level 42 PvE & PvP. They are extremely experienced in raids, and welcome our members to join them in raids when they have available spots.
Likewise, we invite members of Lip to join us in many of our events.

Hi everyone

So about a month ago my guild, The Legends of Avalon claimed The Gilded Hollow.
It’s an amazing place. There is much to explore and everything looks great.
However after the initial frenzy of running around the guild hall, we realised that the area was too quiet. There was no life or activity.
The guild had several discussions on how this could be addressed and we determined that having NPCs around the map would help to enliven the place.
Imagine your guild hall as a sanctuary from the horrors of the Heart of Maguuma, where Nuhoch, Exalted, Itzel, Pact soldiers and more would come to seek protection from you guild. Of course this should be an optional thing for guilds.
But anyway, what does the community think?

Why this guild was created?
After being guild members in several guild and enjoying the game. We thought it was time to not only create a guild, but to also draw from our experience as part of other guilds to make The Legends of Avalon stand ahead of them.

At present the two guild masters are currently gathering materials, information and money in hopes of leveling up the guild in an efficient manner.

As we are a new guild there is currently nothing we can offer you but a small, relaxed and easy going guild.
