Exactly. Seems like they were down to the bottom of the idea’s bag when they got to Guardian.

Not sure, but it looked more like the holosmith was getting access to weapon swapping. Not sure if ANet intend for that to niche for the specialisation.

I don’t get the balance of a support focused specalisation with a melee weapon. The two seem at odds. Also concentrating on burning their enemy, with the amount on condi cleanse on offer, relying on one condition for damage seems pointless too.

Yep, that’s what the announcement said, certain content for certain mounts. Hopefully won’t be too much of a grind to unlock all mounts or switch between them.

After some advice from the teachers/testers of the Guild.

Just leveled Connau to 80 by PS/PvE map completion. Currently running a D/D signet build (air/earth/arcane) using whatever gear I’ve gained through PS and leveling.

I’m enjoying the Elementalist profession have taken it up from playing a marauder shout guardian, but find myself struggling when up against multiple enemies.

What armor/runes/weapon stats would be the best to gain some much needed toughness without sacrificing too much DPS?

Got a 500 armor/weapon smith so crafting isn’t an issue.

After any advice folks can offer.

Firstly welcome to the Warrior Clan.

Secondly, have a dig through the forums for the guide Purple Miku has put together for Warriors (Can’t believe it’s not stickied!!)

Thirdly just get out and try out different combos (Weapons, skills etc) until you find something you enjoy.

What traits do you use with the 0/5/5/0/4?

Should really mention I enjoy standing toe to toe with mobs/bosses. probably not the best way to play heh

New to the forums.

Although I’ve levelled my Warrior to 80 (mainly by PvE, Map completion) I’ve started running dungeons with my guild. I’ve found my build lacking in survivability amongst other things.

I really enjoy dual axes (think it kinda fits a Norn Warrior) I used to have rifle as secondary but found it wasn’t useful at high levels. Just started using GS but am looking at sword/axe and axe/shield (or other) with the upcoming adrenaline changes.

Would really appreciate any advice on improvements that I could make to start exploring other parts of the game.
