As long as it doesn’t give players an unfair advantage (Macros that input multiple keystrokes by pushing a single button) I believe they’ll remain neutral towards it. Which is to say that they won’t seek players out and ban them for using it, but if players DO somehow get banned for it they’re SOL because they were using a 3rd party program that is not supported by Anet.
That’s how they are with ICM, at least.
I don’t even really care about the visual changes, but the fact that they’ve been loudly ignoring this thread is disheartening, to say the least. There’s no way they aren’t aware of it, and their stubborn refusal to talk to their players about this and some of the other more frequently discussed issues is downright gross.
You really want us to make 16 extra clicks?
…Really? It’s clicking a mouse, not hefting a couch up a flight of stairs.
That said, if you move the vendor window down and line the envelope up with the “Accept” button it’s really not an issue.
The quest is called A Sparkling Rescue, but the same bug happened to me. After rescuing Zojja the golem should spawn, but it never does.

I wouldn’t recommend coming back for a couple of months, if ever. The game is not in a good place right now and pretty much all that we’ve got in regard to fixes is a handful of Soon™
Until then enjoy the running joke that is ANet pretending GW2 is a serious competitive PvP game.
I would strongly recommend waiting a while to buy it. I pre purchased HoT and have been regretting it since the expansion went live. At this point I’m just playing other games and waiting a couple months to see how everything shakes out, but if by that point some of the more glaring issues aren’t resolved I won’t be coming back. /shrug
Is It Good Time To Return To GW2? Buying HoT

There’s a thread on the GW2 Reddit with people discussing whether they felt disappointed by HoT or not and why they felt that way.

This poll from the thread is pretty interesting: http://strawpoll.me/6205093
If you already bought the core game then the expansion isn’t even close to being worth its current price tag.
I would say to wait for the price to drop, but the longer you wait the harder it’s going to be to actually participate in/complete the new map metas. A few months down the line I won’t be surprised if only the most rewarding one of the 4 maps EVER gets completed
He makes some good points, but seriously, the guilt trips and manipulation are not necessary.
