They removed the armor value from helmet, shoulders, and gloves, and consolidated all of it onto the three parts characters have from level 1: chest, legs, and boots

I never bought them because of the limited functionality of town clothes, but it’s a different story now with them and others being converted to armor skins.
For this reason, it would be fair to bring back other ‘retired’ cosmetic items for at least a while after the patch hits. There must be many others who passed on cosmetic items the first time around knowing that they couldn’t be used in combat.
I believe team colors are on by default. Not sure how many people take the time to go and disable them. Would prefer the other way around as per the OP’s reasons.

Ya I lost track of how much glory I sunk into mystery coffers.
I wonder if the placement of the Fire Staff in the locker between Arcing and Bramble means anything? As far as I can tell, the only other weapons which appear in that location are all swords, Fiery Gladius (Tiger Sliver, tried that already), Flamberge (Phoenix Sliver), and Swordbreaker (???)
Anyone else? Will try later with Phoenix if I can get the tokens
anyone know? I tried the dolyak recipe from the gw2guru forum, also tried ~25 paid, free and tiger tokens each with slivers
Anyone know how to make this? The only google result I came across seemed to be wrong, at least after 50 tries or so.
