So who hits harder A GS Guardian or a GS Mesmer? and which one is harder to play?

I tried both but my main is Mesmer and I rarely use GS in PVE. When I have to play her as a DPS roll I usually use sw/sw or sw/sh or sw/fo. I used GS on my GD and I feel like I could kill a group of mob faster than a GS mesmer and as a mesmer you need to roll your F1-5 right for a better fight. I’m not sure about DPS numbers this is just how I feel from my experience.

I need pants for my mesmer too. I wish I can use some of medium skins like Ley-Line pants on her. I currently use the pants from AC dungeon because it looks a bit like leggings and the short skirt piece doesn’t ruined the look that much.

Dungeon Glider Collections? I know it doesn’t make sense because you can’t glide in Dungeons. But it must be fun to put a collection system for dungeons too. Doing this P to collect this or interact with this thing inside this dungeon to get this and that? Purchase something using the tokens from dungeons or something similar to this.

Oh and can we have the “Holographic wings” as a glider skin too? It’ll look really cool on an asura!!!

After the update on 17th the game keeps crashing. Yesterday it crashed during Auric Basin event, in LA , just right when Teq flew down from the sky and more.

- On 17th I went in Raid with my friends and after so many fails I just wanted to take screenshot but I couldn’t take it using in-game setting.

- My back item skin changed on its own. I have Black wings skin which I transmuted from Book of Secret but after I updated the patch, it’s a Lucky Ram!???

- Graphic went weird like my character have plain black face etc.

My mes wears full zerk ascended gears and only have +agony on slots. I don’t find its difficult to run trough the map at all. If you don’t want to fight just avoid passing trough those mobs.

Same here. I just logged out from the game an hour ago. But right now I couldn’t log-in and got the same msg on Mac.

Last night I copied the settings from one of my friend and it did work. But I need to test it for few times to make sure and I’ll share it for sure.

I live in SEA too. Got 360+ ping but still trying to pvp everyday. 1.30-2.00 secs delay so most of the time I have to have my skill rotation ready before attacking anyone and after that I just try to evade a lot. But I used to it now just can’t really 1v1 with a good thief.

it’s not Mac-specific — it’s a bug with a certain combination of graphics settings

You’ll have to experiment to figure out which setting it is; I know that it’s not specific to a particular computer or GPU set up.

It might be reflections or anti-aliasing or shaders or something else (or some combination). If you can get to that fractal with a group of friends, ask them to wait so you can see what it might be.

I only ran into myself recently because I had to use a laptop while my computer was getting fixed and it only happened after I changed a bunch of settings, which is why I’m so sure it’s not mac specific.

Ohh thank you so much. That might be it. I found this problem after I changed some of my settings. Now I know where to start! Thank you so much for the help.

So I used to run fotm on medium graphic on Macbookpro 13" Mid 2012,V 10.9.5 and it was running fine before. But for a month or so I couldn’t see the sparkling fire on the wood floor in Cliffside fractal which I used to see it just fine. I’m not sure what happened because none of my friend is using mac version. Sometimes I saw some on some level but sometimes I can only see the dim of light from the sparkling but not like the full orb. Sometimes I see nothing only heard the sound of it. This really make me don’t want to go with PUG because I’m afraid I’m going to slow them down because right now I have to guess from the sound which is very confusing.

I asked some people in PUG and none of them having the same problem. They said it might be because of the graphic so I tried to set on the highest, only have render setting on ‘native’ even higher than before I used to. It didn’t work.

I logged on to the game last night. I live in Thailand(UTC+7) and I’m on NA. To me seem like the problem is fixed. But my friends who also live in Thailand still having problem logging in and dc also the ping’s very high. They usually get around 200-400 but now its over 2k. I haven’t try PvP yet. I’m not sure why this happen but I hope it can be fixed soon. We really enjoy this game and we’re really excited about the leagues system so some of my friends want to try pvp too. We still really want to play the game. Please fix it for us. We usually get really high pings so please don’t make it worse.

I’m a player from SEA (Bangkok, Thailand). I’m on NA server and facing the same problem. At first I thought it’s the internet but all of my guildmates seem to have the dc error. Got kicked out during PvP and regular PvE stuff. One of my friend couldn’t log-in after he lost connection yesterday. And sometimes we can still chat but the map seem frozen like people are not moving and can’t use skill etc.

How do I take a high res screenshot on Macbookpro? My friend show me he can take really nice screenshot on window just using command line arguments. How do I do it on my mac? I don’t have prtscn button so usually I use cmd+shift+3 to take one and the shot came out exactly how it look like in the game.
