KISS, The original 10 year old guild from GuldWars 1, Is still ticking into its 3rd year of GuildWars 2, Reviving old players and Recruiting new!

We have been on Many servers over the previous couple of years and we find the
best 2 servers are EU: Gunnars hold! and Aurora Glade for the none blob guild/Action!
Currently Gunnars is taking a bit of hit in reguards to UK/EU prime time and day time for our borderlands and EB. This is bad for the server but good for us as we make plenty of gold/loot bags and satisfaction of putting lambs to the slaughter.

KISS guild is currently on Aurora glade server. Recently a few wvw focused guilds left the server. Due to that ..Aurora Glade has turned into a pve server.

We have tried to hold it together but it just doesnt work AG stopped upgrading/deffending keeps etc. no towers being upgraded/no one deffending and little daytime activity.

So.. we are currently sniffing around for a new home..

We would be bringing any where from 40-150 daily active world vs world players.
Our active play times are:

Mon – 9:30am/1:00 or 2:00pm 10-15 in mornings man group. 8pm – 4am 25-60 man evening event.
Tues – 9:30am/1:00 or 2:00pm 10-15 in mornings man group. 8pm – 4am 25-60 man evening event.
Wed – 9:30am/1:00 or 2:00pm 10-15 in mornings man group. 8pm – 4am 25-60 man evening event.
Thu – 9:30am/1:00 or 2:00pm 10-15 in mornings man group. 8pm – 4am 25-60 man evening event.
Fri – 9:30am/1:00 or 2:00pm 10-15 in mornings man group. 8pm – 4am 25-60 man evening event. Reset we always put out the most numbers up 80 guild members.
Sat – random play mornings. 8pm – 4am 25-60 man evening event.
Sun – random play mornings. 8pm – 4am 25-60 man evening event.

All time zones are UTC+1 – uk time.

I would like to ask for some info from any server interested in having us.

1) What is your server and Zone EU/NA ?
2) What is your all round wvw coverage like?
3) How’s the maturity of the server “trolling etc”
4) What are the weak points to your server.
5) How is the pve? are area’s open or always contested etc..
7) Do you have active voice com and server wide activity?
8) what are your Que times like between the hours of 8pm – 4am UTC+1/uk time.

There is a massive chance we will be looking to move before Friday 28th June 2013!

Your feedback is important to us, It is also important that you do not tell porkies as it is costing us a lot of money to move. Also we would be losing all of our guild attributes.

KISS is a mixed wvw/pve guild highly active in both aspects of the game and very stable within its own community. This is KISS from gw1.

Same as you saying you kept 5 guilds busy in our borderlands yesterday. I went to bed fairly early (bout 9) and at the time the only guilds on the border were us (dius) and YARR. Im sure there were members of other guilds in there, we had a LOT of pugs on. But it was pretty guild free.
Maybe more showed up as the night wore on though. I wouldn’t know
Was one of the more fun evening I’ve had in wvw for a while though.

I like the way the forums are at the moment, Although I would like to confirm that I saw with my own eyes, a full stacked [Duis] tag who we had alot of fun fighting Hell they even wiped us up northwest a couple of times. Good play. hmm lets see we have about 15 previously raging [xXx] members who bought the loss to these forums. I also saw [YaK] stacked outside vale entrance with balista’s and attempting a couple of mesmer bombs. They even pushed the southwest side of vale mountain to jump down on us. It really was set guilds and set randoms from Both Aurora Glade and Gandara. It is really nothing to be ashamed of or attempt to hide. It was a kitten load of fun dont forget that guys.

Its all that matters is the fun.

Yeah it was great fun I think it went on for 2+ hours. But a couple of times we got smacked hard + northwest bay near the worm by your guild also some Gandara players behind us. It was a seriously messy massacre. You guys move fast and play very well.

Honestly, I see KISS – during primetime – with a large tail of PUGs more often than not.

Now, if AG is so starved of commanders that only KISS and FURY (and more recently NR) can tag up, and that’s why there are always so many pugs following you, that’d make sense.

But given a server your size, I’d be surprised if that was the case.

More often than not, our guild groups (Dius, MM, xXx, JDGE) will run with Commander off during primetime, to avoid attract PUGtails.

If you’re consistently deciding not to do that, then you are intent on attracting PUGs to create a zerg.

Which is ‘ok’ by itself, but it’s silly to just try and make it seem as if you have no hand in it happening.

Very fair comments here. If Aurora Glade groups do flag on Commanders Its because of the Baruch Bay and Riverside blobs. Its hard for your guild to follow with different computer specs and fast movements with 80+ I mean lets be serious. If Aurora Glade and Gandara are going to constantly accuse each other of Blobs we should seriously take a step back and look at the bigger picture.

Aurora Glade has some excellent guilds
Gandara has some excellent guilds too.

Gandara have been in tier 3 Gandara have also had hands on with the BB blobs.
Aurara glade have been stuck in T4 for months Vs FSP BB Riverside constant blobs.

Everyone has the right to kitten and moan although Gandara and Aurora Glade are few and far between when it comes wanting to play with the GOOD productive guilds that EACH server provides.

The 2 servers are like 2 needles in a haystack forced to blob at times against dumb FSP RS BB numbers come prime-time nothing we can do about it.

In general I would like to take my hat off to Gandara as a server, very productive and lots of fun to fight.

Aurora glade website has no mention of not searching server websites or not doing it.
If you really wanted Gandara website to be private you would change the privacy level Via members.

I would like to Add Piker, when you returned to Gandara the following week, we had some good fights against you in the good old days. Then you had a couple of our members move over to Gandara who really liked you’r style.

I do not know what happened between you guys all I can say is that kiss has not changed. We run with friendly commanders that I can admit gathers a few players from Aurora glade on a daily basis enjoy following us around. KISS plays as a guild or at least aims too.

We really enjoyed fighting you in the old days, on a realistic note I would like to remind you that KISS is a casual PVE guild, that populates world vs world. Your moaning about a friendly social none elite guild that plays for fun. If you cant deal with that then maybe you have to find your own solution or try improving yourself as a guild. IF we are not worth the fight to you stop trying and stop crying.

Being honest I think because you can no longer wipe KISS it frustrates you. Go chill out on EB as you have claimed in previous post’s. you would not go to any borderlands because of the KISS/UNTY/RDDT groups.

I read through the Gandara website forums today. It was amusing to see all you guys moan about is KISS blob this KISS blob that 40+ this at 4am 10 of us killed 38705614 KISS inside there garrison.

Its a joke to see. I can give you specific numbers every day of the week to the hour.
Monday to Friday – 7pm 10+ kiss members with no commanders. (on split borderlands)
Monday to Friday – 8pm 15/20 kiss members with commanders.
Monday to Friday – between the hours of: 9pm -1 am 25-30 with possibly 5 LoE.
this so-called 4am 40 man zerg is more like 10-15 KISS + any awake Aurora glade players.

Friday night reset – KISS can gather 40-80 players on 1 borderland If its not over populated by the rest of Aurora Glades guilds. These figures are from me being the leader and the main commander of the guild. Please stop making things out to be worse than they are.. this includes all of your comments about advising KISS members to run 20-30 and playing properly.

You make it sound much much worse than it actually is. all of Aurora glades try hard to work together on selected borderlands. It does not mean we blob blob blob.

I would like to add that one of the two x KISS members you have in xXx still attend our ts3 on a weekly basis, they still enjoy playing with us in pve.

I did see alot of /salute’s /waves from both servers. All the trolling here is coming directly from xXx because they simply raged off over a unsuccessful attempt at wiping the enemy. Which is a weekly acceptance on the Gw2 forums when it comes to Gandara vs Aurora Glade.

We use alot of choke point and flank tactics between set guilds! Absolutely nothing wrong with a working server that does not officially blob. You guys should try it, its more fun for 40 people from set guilds in the crossfire of 80-100 man enemy blob and we wipe you?

I am comfortable in knowing you guys can troll as much as you like but do not have the facts of how Aurora glade guilds play.

Great fights on BB borderlands from KISS & FURY. Later in the evening was an absolute pleasure to be defending AG borderlands from RED at 3-4am Seems they lost heart at the Siege department.

Heh thanks for the offer, very kind of you, but I like FSP- regardless of what’s being thrown around this kitten filled forum post, FSP is a great server and the people have all been very nice to me.

However, it is sad to have read about the mesmer thing. I do not care which server it is, but I would interpret that as an exploit, if I ever see it happening I would report it, evem if it is a person from my own server, call it what you like, defend it if you feel the need too, but in my view its an exploit.

Edit- However only Anet will say whether or not they consider it an exploit, an official comment from them would be nice, though unlikely, that way would let us all know whether it is a tactic that can be used in the future.

Ended up on the AG map. Running around teasing Kiss on the ruins. Is it just me or are pugs more attentive now that they can actually see everyone? Was a cool experience non the less.
Random guy came on the map, asked for us to go for Garrison, he needed a Vista. I went for Garrison! We didn’t get inside 2nd gate, but he got his Last vista!

Hey, I am the leader of KISS, I would just like to say to RS, I totally disagree with what the active AG guilds did to prevent you from winning hours before reset as it was uncalled for..

The only good thing that can be had from this incident is the fact that if AG can pull its finger out and work together to stop a server from winning,.. that is brilliant our server can work together to accomplish this.. Although I do not see why AG cant work together all the time.. they have to get there acts together for a loss..

I personally feel this is the biggest mistake made By Aurora Glade commanders and the involved guilds have made yet. NO WONDER you riverside guys rolled on AG may about 3am with 4-6 golems and +40 man blob.

How ever on reset who ever played EB borderland and fought over BB corner of the map and stonemist what fun was to be had.

Please dont TAR Aurora glade for this action as not everyone is active around the clock and not everyone would be given the right to prevent it from happening..
I hope this situation can be put in the past and everyone can move on soon enough.

Firstly we all know BB naturally have the biggest night pressence and AG were busy fighting them… Its not AG’s fault that RS gave up last night…

I know both your servers lost one or two “clans” BB lost rnv to SFR? RS lost FG? If? to Kodash? which is a shame, can understand people moving for fights although FG/IF move was more surprising.

I know both your servers have had a bit of internal drama and you are both weaker than we fought in T3 (w/ piken) Im not sure why Morale or Score is playing such a big effect for people… when its all about fun fights, kill or be killed, the epic action.

When we run normal raid numbers entire bb bunker themself into t3 keep and siege it up… When we running lower numbers we still dont run away we defend to the end despite being totally outmanned. Looking forward to fighting nuke tonight, always good fights.

Excellent post you have written here. As you stated there is 3-4 guilds that will step out the gates and fight. But in the be all and end all its about the Fun.

I personally like to leave the gates open If they come in uninvited, They essentially have a lot of re-spawning to do.

I enjoy fighting both servers, it puts AG under a lot of pressure.. which is good and bad, I really enjoyed the week.

Aye it fun. Yesterday afternoon I was in north HIlls, I think in AG. We had it and for some reason the Vet Archer was shooting to the side. I looked over and couldnt see anything.
Go further along the wall and see a GH invader. For a second I was thinking how should I attack, turns out we were both necros and we both decided to use fear.
Now them using it on me wasnt a big deal, I just ran back long the wall, the GH invader on the otherhand, well he ran back and right off the cliff. Two seconds later I get a loot bag.

Sorry, but I couldnt help it, was too tempting.

Rofl I can just picture that Omar. ah well Good job lastnight, I think GH did a fast job of taking AG garrison, bay and hills! in the early hours, no one was on the border to alert people. “although we soon took it back” this includes SM. some good siege’s last night not much in the way of fights though.

Had some great fun, on both FSP and GH borderlands tonight, FSP garrison fight was epic, we just quit after a hour or so. GH well… some good field battle’s and good defense from you guys. was fun with our golems whilst it lasted. I cant say I didnt recognize any organized guild groups for GH though.

At least 15 KISS reported the ele from [GLA] guild, for glitching into the north inner of garrison and killing the siege. I hope they deal with it, “He also quoted in team chat” he was proud of his action.

Gandara reminds me of Gunnar’s hold, A bunch of people with issue’s towards anyone who can make good effort to keep up the fights and the points. Why make it personal? Its a game, you was winning the week, oh and then u wasnt, “then Gandara pipes up on the forums about how crap everyone is” oh now your winning again.

All I can say is GOOD job you deserved it, Ag deserved 2nd place.

We would just like to point out that while sieging hills on AG borderland a mesmer spotted a glitch spot, when the inner gate was about 2%, We have screenshotted the bug and reported it.

As for the portal into hills we spotted 5 or 6 ran for a portal that was called out over voip, then we noticed it was a glitch to inside the gate.

I have no issue with any guilds listed as leaving gunnar’s hold, be it true or false I was informed Yesterday “by people on Gunnars Hold Server” After speaking with you just a few moments ago, I apologize as it was not my intention to cause a further problem.

On that note its not actually any of my business. As I have said many times I keep myself to myself, and when on gunnars hold was accused of not being involved etc. I guess its not to everyone’s liking.

Either way the move of KISS was never meant to offend anyone. We just wanted to knock BF and OX all over the map. Which we have done plenty of. I have no idea why Nidhog posted so much jargon about KISS, he was such a nice person.

We as a community are looking for a brighter future with Aurora Glade, Nothing personal at all.

So…. when can we go out for that meal people always laugh about

RoF, we definatly arent teaming up with AG against you. Nor are we teaming up with RoF against AG.

Wouldnt work anyhow, both RoF and GH do fine when awake, its when we need to get sleep and wake up to AG having capped everything.

Thats the nature of WvW, don’t get me wrong. But its very good to see Gunnars Hold defeat the people that left us saying we were kitten at fighting.

This is no fault of AG/ROF this is a daily occurrence over the past 3 months. Which is the main reason we left for good, Hoping the good wvw, guilds find a new home on any server.

I had plenty of fun killing Ziggy Black [OX] and [BF] trolls on gunnars "which would be one of the reasons we moved server. The rest of the reasons are just falling in place as is. I hope everyone is having fun! be all and end all.

I wish people would stop moaning and play for fun, KISS did not join AG, to just out number gunnars hold or “as Nid said:” claim a win over gunnars hold. We play for fun and competition. I see Aurora Glade, a top tier server long term with good guilds like UNTY FURY Holy KISS LoE Myth and more, It should be encouraged not trolled.

Please stop the banter and have a good week of war, do the flaming on the field.

We would like u to know, “NO HARD FEELINGS” you put on a good show in woodhaven and hills.. with deffence. But on the field it was nuts! Good fighting from KISS, LoE MyTH against gunnars hold as a server. I am happy you managed to rally the forces against us. It shows gunnars could have potential.

Essentially, on a good note kiss moving does everyone a favour. “no trolling”

Yeah it was alot of fun tonight. A few of our guys logged off after your portal @ south gate garrison i think we lost 10 strong. bay was just messy on our part, lol i think with 10 missing we still pounded FURY and UNTY @ north gate of bay, until breech the run back was a long snake,.. at that point you breeched inner BAY, we just couldnt take it anymore but even the pugs on the border with kiss tonight was under the thumb Thanks for a good show @ vale, we quit vs your 3 balista. lol was heavy on the repair bill.

All in all excellent fights this week will miss fighting UNTY @ reset the only organized guild of AG good play guys

My life as a working person be cursed, I was only up until our garrison was under siege for the n-th time. But yes, you gave us a hard time every other turn, KISS. I salute you.

Say… could KISS be hired to fight for AG’s banner for a week or two?

We worked with skly and UNTY against another server a few weeks back, in wrecking the cheaters seeing gunnars hold and aurora glade side by side smashing there doors in with UNTY golem’s and a KISS group in the early morning.
