As a thief that uses the 100% crit out of stealth ability. I use valkerie gear. The percision gear makes me too squishy. Can you please add the Valkerie type setup. I can tuse the ascended gear becuase its hurts my health to much. Im not a glass cannon player.

WvWvW reward system must incorparate a DAOC type reward system.

All 5 man groups get a 25% increase in WvWvW points. (aka realm points)

A rank 1 rated toon is worth 100 points. If the player is killed by 10 people who damaged him, they will recieve the points reative to the % of damage done.

Example: I solo and rank 1 person. I get 100 points
5 people kill the rank 1 person. I did 55% of the damage. I get 55 points
20 peopel kill the rank 1 person. I did 4% of the damage. I get 4 points

5 man partys get a 25% bonus only if under 10 people damage the target.

As you rank up your value is higher. Example: rank 5.5 = 155 points.

Eles are extremly OP in wvw.. I play one and just own so much. It’s actually boring to play one becuase I can:

1. Get away at will
2. Kill anyone 1v1
3. With another skilled Ele – kill a 5 man easy.
4. With 4 Eles – oh boy – were talking 10 to 15 easy.

Plus

If we dont like the fight — we run away.

least thiefs only kill one person at a time. I can kill 3 to 4 easy.

I wouldnt mind more single target DD. I mean it’s easy being OP -

Mass AE from large groups is the problem.

AE should be used for CC or mass low damage annoyance.

AE is skilless

Start grouping in a 5 man and roam instead of zerging.

Glad to see AE getting Dumped on in WvW. Now hopefully with the WvW progression rewards: Make it so you receive higher rewards in groups to promote more 5 mans running. Instead of the mass zerglets that cry about thiefs and other smaller centric classes/setups. Maybe after they stop zerging and start grouping, they can learn their class a little better. So far by the posts I would say that they only know the zerg game. Skilless & mindless.

You have no idea what your talkng about. if you think bs/crit thiefs are OP in sPvP.

Thiefs are extremely underwhelming in Spvp. We do it cuase we love thiefs., Almost any other class is better then a thief in high level spvp.

I spoke with KOM leadership in TeamSpeak concernging the speed hacking. After dueling and playing along side them, I see nothing that indicates hacking of any kind. Although I understand that it may have seemed “suspect”. I can tell you I donot believe they are hacking. They are very skilled players and deserve respect.

Being the only undefeated 1v1 thief in WvW, I will post a comment on this video.

P/D still loses to a well played D/D thief.

About Thiefs – You have nerfed many of the things bad players cried about and still do.

Ele’s – You have buffed them to be the most OP class by far. AE CC, AE Damage, nearly perma vigor, out of the world heals + group support and fury.

ALL Other classes – Buffed to beat thiefs -

NOW the real problem

Bad people convinced you to nerf thiefs – you have been duped. I play every class with the exception of Warriors (cuase they are dumb). Good players could always be competitive with good thiefs. GET THAT THROUGH YOUR HEADS….

A newbie thief could easliy kill all other newbie classes. Yes they are the OP class of the bad players. And even with all the changes a newbie thief can own other newbie classes. HOWEVER – any skilled players does not have to worry about thiefs unless the thief is much more supperior to them in skill.

I will break this down for you in kindergarden terms:

Poorly skilled thief VS Poorly skilled any other class —-- winner thief
Good skilled thief Vs Good Skilled class except Necro’s /Rangers — winner other class
Pro Thief Vs Good skilled class – Thief – with the exception of Ele’s, Mesmer, Guardian
Pro Thief Vs Pro Other class – Winner Other classes except Necro/Ranger

Basically we are second tier class…. Simply put.

WHAT YOU HAVE DONE BECUASE OF THIS —-

Now thiefs are at extreme disadvantages vs any good players (all classes) in WvW.

If your goal was to please bad players and kill thiefs – you have reached it.

Good/Pro players can deal with thiefs……

My personal experiences —

The nerf bat keeps comming every patch + you buff other classes every patch. = we are f’ed.

See your looking at this wrong…

Me and joose xfer to the T1 server that is losing for 2 reasons:

1. Fast ques on any map

2. We get to own so many so called good players on the “winning” side.

3. My guess is that we will go SoS next week. That of course makes me ill sinse the Henge throw away guilds are there. But, cant find it in our hearts to go with SBI or JQ(ques times, love MMAC !!!). And who wants to be on the winning side? You dont get orbs now (best move yet for anet)

4. Were taking the old DAOC Lancelot server tactic: Reroll Hib and just have 24×7 ownage. BTW this is Perfo and Joose from hib — for all you old school Nightshade haters.

I dont understand why its so easy to 1v5 or 2 v5 WM’s. They talk major dumpster but turns out they are just full of …………. Maybe we should look for better players to pick on with our little 2 person zerg.

I have about 5 thiefs from JQ that are thinking of transfering to your server. Who are we….. Well all those videos you see of thiefs coppying our builds weve been using since day one. Thats us. Anycase, we want to get decent ques so we can all do our thing together and such. We 3 man lords, take on 3 times our sizes and win. Question 1. Is your que times good? Question 2. Even if losing do you guys continue to fight on, like get orbs etc.

BTW – If we come, I will be recruiting thiefs that want to put a hurt on anyone. We will work with you on tower,keep taking, zerg stalling, doing 10v1 s. etc.

THE SIMPLE FIX:

PROBLEM: Nite Capping/Off hours taking of many keeps and servers getting roffle stomped.

SOLUTION 1: When ever the side which has a lower population at any time during the day. You will notice they get a buff already when you have less people then the other map. You keeps and guards receive a 50% buff in health and damage. You receive twice any many guards in all areas owned. Also, Enemy keep receive a 50% debuff + guards/leaders have 50% less health/damage. DAOC did similiar things when a realm owned more of the map.

SOLUTION 2: As your side owns more fo the map all of your keeps and gaurds get weaker. Concurrently, as you own less of the map you guards and keeps get stronger. This is what DAOC did.

I run solo as I did in Rift – Grevance – I am Malf now on GW2 with MMAC – Your tactics are pretty basic. Anyone that has fought Darkhaven – knows a little Thief taking on guild 5 mans and winning. I dont do it with OP Crit/Damage Builds. I kite and line of sight, evade dodge at the right times and bleed them all down. I destroy all direct damage thiefs. I really hope we fight your server. I love teaching thiefs how to play this game – nice music though.

You dont need any. As long as your specced right and play dagger dagger, short bow you should never be hit. I take on 4 to 5 people on in WvW solo and win or get away if I start losing. You can also dive into a zerg and survive longer then anyone if you manage your cooldowns, innit & energy well. deathblossom, dodge ftw.
