I’m a college student waiting for fall to come around. A zero tolerance for drama is a preferable trait I’d expect from any guild of mature like minded folk.
I’ve had game since launch, but haven’t really gotten into it for more than a couple weeks every time I’ve tried.
Right now I am trying really had to get into the game and I think having a great, active social experience will make all the difference.
Awesome dude, thanks for the reply. I appreciate it.
A question about WvW Density;
Q: Which world would have the most density of players in WvW to Roam with a Thief?
Since launch I have had multiple accounts of trying to find a reason to play this game. I just finished a few videos of some really good Thief players and I think I have found my calling; PvP and Thief.
To be honest I didn’t think I’d ever find a real good reason to play since I am your typical WoW veteran who enjoys really fast pace action with power being generated through gear progression.(I know, I know.. Skeeter: WoW guy! We don’t take kindly to your kind around here.)
I was also very turned off by the cash shop, but now all I can think of is how I want to be as good as these Thief players I saw.

for my male sylvari? “Taydis”
Okay thanks. Does there happen to be any class that is good at it in sPvP?
I haven’t played the game too much and I like to play caster healers in most games. So I was curious to ask something about Ele healing.
Is Ele healing good for sPvP? Is it powerful enough?
Is it possible to go with a pure healing build that would be very useful to a sPvP team?
I got this game back at launch played until just about all my friends quit playing and then i quit. recently in early to mid july i came back in hope of being able to get into it. i played for about twenty or so hours and havent played since. i desperately want to play this game for all the good things it offers.. but like you and whoever else, it’s not “sucking me in”.
now i’v come back about 2-3 weeks later to this very night thinking about forcing myself to play every class. I may go as far as to getting any one of them to lvl 30-40 just to see if im missing a playstyle i like on any of them.
but to be honest i think i enjoyed this game SOOO much more when i had really good friends to play with back at launch. any online game is better with friends and doing it alone can be repetitive without conversations; pointing things out to each other, discussing abilities you find fun or cool or asking the opinion of a skill etc.
i feel that maybe the first thing i should do is find someone i can have a solid game play experience with. someone to team up with regularly and talk with. for me it seems like it could make all the difference in this game.

Random but curious. I have searched Google for the answer to this. Surprisingly, nothing turned up.
From what I read there is no “Win” profession, which is why I am going to do S&T-PvP in this game. So I hope I can get some solid answers from “You”, the community. Also, I’m not expecting one to answer every single question as many answers may apply to any of them.
The questions I have, I will try to ask as clearly and simple as possible. Also, I ask that only people who are serious about answering my questions comment below. Whether the questions can or can’t be answered 100%, answering them in a constructive manner is much appreciated.
NOTE: I am still quite new to the game & don’t exactly have a full grasp on most of the terminology.
1.] For Structured-PvP. which professions can play a huge part in “Support” game-play & what are the “Unique” differences among them that separate them from the rest.
-Please have an elaborate explanation of a profession’s weapon compositions, builds & skills.
————————————————————————————————————————————-
2.] For Structured-PvP, can I expect any professions to be singled out when competing on a serious level? If so, why?
-Please have an elaborate explanation of a profession’s inability/or/lack-of to perform at high ranking S&T-PvP
————————————————————————————————————————————-
3.] For PvE, I love farming items. It was my main focus in Guild Wars 1, because it felt like my 3-D MMO styled “Diablo” game. So in other words, can solo farming for items be rewarding? Can you find exceptionally great items solo?
Ultimately I know that in any MMO, playing a class/profession that I enjoy is most important. This post serves a higher purpose to me on the grounds that your knowledge of what I am asking about, may act as a stepping stone.
Thanks in advanced,

Note: This would be my first time partaking in any event/content in this game. Still working on making a character when I have enough time lol. Thanks in advanced.
Q:Will people of all levels, 1-80 be a be able to take part in getting the following before the content ends; Meta Achievement for Personal Quartz Node, Lessons from the Sky achievement for the Zephyr Sanctum Model, Kite Fortunes, Zephyrite Helms, etc?

Thanks very much for the reply.
I somehow locked myself out of being able to choose a new home World for a week while browsing the list and it happened to be Tarnished Coast that I chose. I was just about to get on the forums and ask which home World would be suitable for social and PvX needs. Any reason why I shouldn’t buckle down and just get started playing right now with this home World?
I am confused, a bit, by your questions. You’ve been here since September, took a break and came back in January…..
Did you take another break? That’s fine, but don’t you already have a server? You can guest to any server in your region, if you are thinking about transferring. =)
Well I had gotten the game back then and shortly after an immediate situation arose, I didn’t have the time to play whatsoever. So I have finally gotten to the point where I can sit down and play the game, fortunately. Haha.
Thanks the speedy replies, I have a better general idea of how I may play the game now.
Does the selection of my server matter much? Perhaps if I were to do PvP at some point? Or not at all?
Hello there GW2 community! I have a few questions I hope can be answered here.
Does GW2 offer, in terms of PvE, many features that can keep you solely playing for PvE alone? If so I would be grateful for examples that hold true to the PvE experience.
Does crafting add any flavor to the game that would make it a good thing to do while leveling a character?
Is this game a Casual-Gamer friendly game in terms of progression? I am often busy with family or other things that require my attention but would love to get anywhere from 1-3 hours of game-play when possible.
Thanks in advanced to the constructive answers! Y’all have a good day now!

I’m looking for a great guild on any server. I have yet to reach lvl 80 on a character. The few friends I had that played this game bailed and so did I. But Im back and wanting to really get into the game. Guilds have always made the game a better place for me.
I have played PvP on quite a few games. I love end game PvE and PvP stuff.
What I’d expect from a guild is that all members have a equal respect for each other if anything. Also no drama haha.
..it sure feels like this game has a lot that was done right for a change in an MMO.
