I really hope they won’t change it again. If anything, there should be 2 versions of it, because the one with horns hidden looks adorable

To be honest I hope they won’t change it again. I understand that some people liked it after that change, but the only reason I wanted the hood was that it made my charr look like Death of rats
But anyway changing existing skins is not good. There will always be people who liked the first version and those who liked the second. No way to make both groups happy.

The unintended change has been reverted as of today’s hotfix. You can see it reflected in the patch notes here.

What about us Charrs that dislike the original look. In dec 10th’s patch you FIXED horns being hidden, and the cloth on the back not sticking out (it looked more appropriate) and now charrs are back to having spent 500 gems on an item which looked decent after the fix, and horrible on them after you changed it back to what it was pre-dec 10th.

Do we get fixed? Or is this another “Charrs arent high enough player base, so tough kitten”

The only reason I wanted this hood for my charr is because it did hide horns and ears. And I was extremely unhappy to see it changed. Now it’s back to normal and I like the way it looks.

Actually for humans there have always been pupils. This screenshot is from 13 Oct 2012 and I see no difference with what it looks like now.
Anyway if this is fixed, I hope human version will not be changed.

You’ve forgotten about one thing: we don’t have mounts and not all classes have permaswiftness. I have to use runes of the centaur on my mesmer because it’s the only way to not move like a turtle. For those who have 25% speed signet that’d be fine I suppose, but not for me. Most likely I’d just park my 80s at some world bosses and never move them from there.

Heart of the mists is how I usually go to LA. Short loading time, no queues. But yes, I agree, that waypointing to LA should be free.

Wallet is awesome, but I really need to be able to deposit my gold. It was so satisfactory to earn some money and add it to the gold in my bank really miss it.

What amazes me most is that staves (staffs?) are even bigger than greatswords and can be just as beautiful. Yet we have only a few skins with particle effects, one of which is legendary. And even the Bifrost is basically a kitten on a stick, just more shiny.

Ok, just tried changing settings again and setting shaders to medium/low seems to solve this problem. Must’ve missed it before.

I’ve tried changing everything and still can’t get rid of that ugly white light. All settings are on max.

Is it only me or was there some change in graphics? Graphic settings are all the same, yet sunshine seems to be completely white now. Looks very unnatural and makes dark colored armor look like rubber.

+1 to this. I used to carry about 20s per character, so that I couldn’t accidentally buy some expensive crap. Don’t ask me how, I really can buy something and notice later that the money is gone XD And for me it was a nice way to save some money without thinking about high waypoint costs.

I really hope this is getting fixed soon. Phoenix armor is amazing, but why, oh why does it go through my character’s legs? -_- Even 1 lvl white armor doesn’t have this issue.

I would love to be able to wear town clothes everywhere. And while I do agree that it may break immersion for some overly sensitive players, there already are a lot of things that don’t look natural at all.

Also we need more skin choices anyway, so why not let us transmute town clothes into normal armor?

This bug is extremely annoying, kills me sometimes when I do the pirate puzzle in LA. I fall into the water, move forward, fall again and die. Hopefully this’ll get fixed soon.

The Clock tower of course, it was simply amazing. I would love to have a door to the mad king’s realm somewhere just to be able to do it again

After today’s patch 1h swords have got almost hidden under my mesmer’s skirt. It used to be fine with “Conjurer’s pants”. The sword I’m currently using is “Legionnaire sword”, but I also tried “Steamblade” and got the same result. 1 and 3 screenshots before the patch, 2 and 4 after.

Changing chestpiece or any other piece of armor doesn’t affect at all.

Also, 1h swords look hilarious now with “Masquerade Leggins” equipped (5 and 6 screenshots).

No, I hate the new ascended items.

I’m so “excited”, that Anet won’t see another cent from me ever again. I was promised to not having to gear up every N months, it was up to me on what pace I like to finally get all exotics, transmute them into the skins I like and be done with it.

And now I’m basically not allowed to participate in new dungeon without those infusions, that can only be placed into new gear tier.

Besides, if I get that new gear, it means I will have to get another bunch of fine transmutation stones to make it look the way I want it to. Transmutation system is not perfect as it is now (with destroying 1 of 2 skins, and no place whatsoever for different armor sets to collect) and it’s about to get even worse on Nov 15.

I feel betrayed in some way and don’t want to think what will be next, maybe introducing trinity? Because some of your most dedicated players might have some thoughts about it too and you of course must listen to them and change everything that made me and a lot of other people buy the game.

I had this bug right before the one time halloween event and that was creepy. The 1st screenshot is what she usually looks like. And on the 2nd she is probably going to drink some blood Never had this bug since that time though.

I agree that maybe the Clock Tower shouldn’t have been tied to an achievement because some people may not enjoy that type of gameplay. Or there could be an “easy” mode or “hard” mode.

I’m not into PvP, can we please get rid of all those pvp and wvw achievements? /sarcasm off
The clocktower achievement isn’t needed for the title, so what’s the problem? I’m pretty sure those who don’t like JPs can just skip it. Just because they don’t like something doesn’t mean everybody else shouldn’t be able to do it. The more different activities in the game – the better, it’s not all about achievements.

Wanted to create a topic like this right after I’d seen Josh Foreman answer in that “Post here if you gave up” thread. Shame on you, people, his work is amazing. The puzzle itself is challenging and interesting, and to be honest I’m not sure if it has to be a solo-instanced challenge. I loved to be there with others, way more fun than solo. Yes, it took me 2 hours to complete it for the first time, but all that time we were making fun of ourselves and encouraging each other. And when we finally did it, it felt GREAT. After that first successful run it’s just easy, even with wardrobe-sized norns and charrs. Hell, I was jumping all day yesterday in someone’s charr model, from the beginning to the end. Turned out to be a nice person, so it’s just stupid to say that all those who play charr or norn are bad

So, I just want to thank Josh and Anet for this event and ask to make more challenging puzzles like the clocktower in future.

Little quaggans of course, gave them both so many candies. And that “CANDY DAY!” charr is the only reason why I’m happy this event is about to end and I won’t be hearing him every time I run to the TP and back anytime soon.

There is a funny event in Metrica Province in which all asura kids get smaller. Took a while to finally take a decent screenshot of one of them. So I suggest you to go there and compare your norn to those tiny guys :)
