Right Im still rocking vanilla, ive swapped around a bit but im still trying to find a decent build. I want to do ranked on the toon but im still testing stuff out

I am a ele from launch returning, was in spvp and i was SMASHED by another ele, he was rolling around on a rock pile amongst other things, needless to say I am turning to the forums for some good spvp builds as I feel as though I was either being outplayed or simply I was not doing enough dps. I have perused metabattle however i don’t see any decent builds ( seem smeh).

I would like to know what builds you run in spvp, whats fun to you, also if you’re that ele who wrecked me, give me some pointers.

That build does nearly 0 damage, has almost no stability of its own, and is far more susceptible to condi damage than you imply. It has an extremely specific niche and roll, and it would help if you learned to play around it rather than flame on the forums.
I do think the build needs some adjustment, but so does your attitude and criticism of it.

What specifically makes you say this class needs nerfed ? Im sure people can agree that this is not a constant dmg counter for all DH. you laid traps and they walked through them so DH needs nerfed ? That dmg can be achieved by doing some of the above mentioned. Were you running trap build when this cap was taken ?

I do not see the map in that light at all, in fact I love that map and have had amazing matches there.

This is not an issue at all, even though it is probably unintended.

If someone is just standing under the point using aoe, then they are contributing almost nothing to the fight. It is basically a 100% loss fight if someone in your team is doing this.
Tbh I don’t think this should be changed, it is just not worth the effort and no one really does this anyway.

I had a match there once, also saw a necro underneath mid with the aoe plants lighting everyone up, free reaper ? . I feel as though this and the whole being punted by an ability so you clip the map and get stuck for the duration of the game should be something ANET fixes. evidently they just don’t give a stuff about it, fair shake of the sauce bottle mate

Hi,

As the above states, I am returning to GW2 after many years off (around 3) and whilst the whole process of doing so has been easy I have realised that the server I am on is dead.

I need to move servers to a populated server WvW focused. Whilst looking at the rankings in WvW shows which servers are doing well in WvW, I am unsure if this carries over an unspoken toxic rating too.

Any feedback on this/ assistance on selecting a decent server to do the above listed is appreciated
