" A reward chest will now be awarded after all three Assault Knight events have finished, and will be given to the corresponding participants even if only one Assault Knight was defeated."

So the “corresponding participants.” Is the definition of “corresponding participants” only the players who participated against the defeated Knight ? I HOPE you guys are re-thinking that reward criteria. Because anything less than 130 players in map will nearly guarantee that if one of the Knights fail, then those corresponding players who couldn’t get in on the attunement 50 for defeated Knights really feel disappointed and cheated after that.

In a well coordinated map, then a third of 130 people at each location might be a winning strategy, but there’s no way at this point to enforce a perfect three way split and there is a chance to make it unbalanced for a number of people to be excluded from the reward pool.

Why can’t the attunements at the knights be variable? If there’s 130 in the map, then the knights attunements are allocated correspondingly dividing 130 three ways. If more people show up during the fight, then start scaling up the attunements, but starting each knight with the 50 limit is just a recipe for greedy players to overload one or two knights.

Ok, so if 50 go blue, 50 go red and 26 go to green and blue and red are killed but green isn’t killed, does this mean the ones at blue and red get chances for cores while the poor saps at green get stuck out with zero chance for anything?

I ask because I was one of the ones that spent 14 min at green with the other 25 folks and we at green came away empty handed, zero loot.

That’s exactly what it means. Same happened to me trying to be a team player when the patch first came out.

If I’m one of the leftovers from blue and red with no chance to kill green, then my incentive for playing is suddenly drastically reduced to ragequit stage.

Why can’t the devs reward the folks at the failed knight if they were participating in the event? Do we have to win the lucky first 100 lottery to be in on the successful knights in order to get a reward? This doesn’t seem to be balanced bug fix to me. What am I missing from the devs good logic here?

Will the enemies return to the gate area if players engaged them from that direction? Is this a mechanic for how players want to position the fight? So what this means is that players fighting away from the gate are working for the players at the gate.

It may not be a game re-programming issue if it could be an easy player solution to lure the enemies toward the gate rather than re-configure the entry process.

Don’t hate the players, hate the game?

Party in a group with one of the gate campers? Would this allow the player away from the gate to enter the same instance as the first players in?

Cant believe people play with Subsampling.

Can’t believe people play with native sample rendering and still fail the event. ;/

Seriously though, I usually don’t play with Subsampling. I normally play with auto-detect settings and native sampling. This past week my game has crashed or disconnected nearly every night at primetime and each time I was certain they would win the event and I would miss it. So last night during the escort phase when my game started acting out and skills delaying and teamspeak sputtering, I hastily switched my gfx settings to “Best Performance” in hopes it would save me from crash or dc. It was an awesome feeling when the game started catching back up and teamspeak was clear again. I didn’t switch back to auto-detect and so I got a video with blurred graphics and generic looking characters, but I did contribute to the victory. cheers . . . . .

This is the most awesome feeling. Best day ever. Worth every minute of trial and error. Props to all the participants for the past week and great job to the class build engineers and the event organizers and individual commanders. go Kal Mars!!! and Lys and all the others.
