This word “need” you use. Nothing is “needed”, only wanted. And we as a Mercenary guild provide it. Similar to how you “need” Trahearne in order to slay the elder dragon Zhaitan.

quit trying to justify something that is wrong. of course its not needed nothing in this game is needed, we don’t even need to play it. but when you have a game mechanic that is so broken that you need people like you, it needs to be reevaluated or fixed to work as intended.

by the screen shots above my first post by some guy who bought his dungeon master title from you. it looks like you use a 4 heavy 1 Mesmer group. it that needed to complete this? or can anyone use any class they want to get past it?

First you’re saying rangers are useless because of pets, then you’re saying hounds of balthazar is a must.

UNLESS you have a ability to contribute to party aka battle standard time warp then you need to be using summons to help with your damage n yes rangers are hated at simin ask anyone reason hounds work bc their there for 30 seconds pure dps n do not bother with whole sparks bc im talkin when the sparks been place for final burn at 50 percent.

And yes if you are informed it helpes, but sometimes you need to get hit by some skills until you know how to behave.

Everything should be possible for everyone in an acceptable time, hardcore gamers are just faster than others.

Hm I’m not familiar with you but like I said in my post I dont do 4-1. If everyone has a stability move that saves time from someone stopping dps and throwing tears. Again extra adds hounds bathalzar theives guild and war banner support even a orger whistle pet goes a long way in a timewarp.

Okay maybe my group wasn’t a really good group, but it takes time, until you know when what happens and how you do it best.
And dude, there are people out there who don’t have that much time. This is a game, not your life. Everyone should be able to do it.

And don’t get me wrong, I was really proud when we finally killed her, because it was a though fight. I do understand your point, that it is a challenge and in fact one of the only real challenges existing in this game in PvE.
The point is: In my view a challenge like this shouldn’t be in a game with a few millions casual players – just like the precursors shouldn’t be that expensive.

If you go in there not knowing about the run before hand maybe but shouldn’t you the person running take the time to research a dungeon so you know what to do before you get in? I’m sure the reason most runs last that long with pugs is because no ones does research when there’s videos available for you. Also to your point the games aimed at all players but to hinder us hardcore players because the casuals can’t complete it and whine about it. To the point the Dev team has to go back and nerf everything is quite sad because really there’s no hard content in this game period. Last thing precursors should be expensive you don’t have to get a precursors there’s other exotics skins out there if you want a legendary then work for it.

If it takes you longer then 8 seconds to gather all the sparks then you sir have a problem. You SHOULD KNOW when shes about to hit 50 percent to send one of your dps to entrance to get all the sparks in one person to the back to get the remaining 2 5 second process should not take more then that.

Also what got me in the pug is the fact people get constantly petrified… Really?? Everyone should have a stability move in the game it is really easy to know your gonna get petrified as you get a symbol with a eye and lightning coming out and it even tells you the time before your turned to stone.. All ya have to do is activate a spell to give you stability negates all that crap or I don’t know here’s a idea run with a guardian who can give it to you?

That’s pretty precisely why I don’t want to see raids in this game, EVER.

I don’t like raiding, main reason for that being that this content cannot be reasonably played with PUGs anymore, at least not in any game I have seen before (heck, it’s hard to find 5 people for a dungeon already!). And no, I don’t want to join a raiding guild, so let’s not go there.

But I DO love crafting. And collecting armour skins. Now guess how much I’d love it if suddenly the best crafting recipes and the nicest armour skins would be out of my reach! I loved it so much that I actually unsubscribed several MMOs just because of that – I don’t want to be a second-rate player anymore just because I don’t raid. And raiders are never happy unless they get the best of everything. Best gear. Best skins. Best materials. Best recipes. Best mounts. Best anything. For the rest of us.. what is there left, exactly?

I love Guild Wars 2 among things because it doesn’t have raids.

you love doing the same thing over and over and grinding with no progression of a future besides there monthly world event thing? this game needs raids hell it be a good way to introduce cool new skins and ascended gear better then buying crap for laurels for like no difference in fotm.

Yeah, and upon retrospect, whenever I throw on my dev tag for a dungeon, people tend to show me exploits and point them out >.<
However I have been thoroughly amused at times. I tend to hide my dev tags when finding a PUG, and then halfway through the dungeon I will tag up, and watch everyone leave the instance within minutes.

The main problem is that people is exploiting this bug to profit from it.

They get with some professions more suited to the rest of the dungeon, then they switch to full damage ones to exploit the 4-1 sparks bug to get it done with a really specialized party focused solely and exclusively on damage, and then ask for over 10g to sell it to people.

This requires a fix ASAP.

Last update was 2-3 days ago for the eu server. Last update was 9 days ago aside from that. This is for NA players and also most people on that page post thing’s they are doing and there isn’t much of people actually actively putting them together. What we are doing is getting you path 4 completion that is quicker than an Arah run for a price.

If I don’t get a run in tomorrow, I will arrange a run for those that want to actually complete the content instead of buying it. And I will use that thread to do so.

Good job organizing that run through that thread yesterday. That sure seemed to work out for you.

Haven’t posted yet as I want to get a time that will work for a majority of players first. If you like, I can keep this thread apprised of the status of the free group.

about the supply, there is a huge supply. The problem is there are exploiters that filled theyre banks with dusk and dawns when it was possible to obtain them for nearly nothing and now can control the market forever. All ANet has to do is Add a quest that requires the 3 final gifts to start to obtain the precursor and it would fix the whole mess

Hi Ive talked a lot members of my guild it seems I’m not only one having this problem. Apparently if you switch characters while in midst of doing your daily to do a dungeon or something it changes when you jump to a different char you cannot progress in your daily. There forth cant complete your daily’s.

only time i would do something like kick someone at the last boss is if he is talking crap on team been flaming the team saying you guys are garbage stuff to demoralize the team. Not following team directions if u do any of those ya ill kick you before end boss and get someone else a free end boss whose not a bch.

I must apologize for the tone of my post- too many bugs in last nights session- ended up on the forums, and so my annoyance showed.
HAVING a legendary DOES show your prowess. . .that youve got 100% map completion, done x dungeon y times for the tokens, and got lots of karma and skill points, and badges.
The mats can be bought so in my eyes are not a signs of prowess ( granted they cost lots/ take time to farm)
BUT i am sure there are people in the game that have EVERYTHING except the precursor, and because of this do not have a legendary, so they cannot show their prowess to the world because they did not have a RANDOM precursor drop.
The only thing that should be random is the clovers
EVEN putting 4 unique weapons in the forge does not guarantee a precursor
HOW DIFFICULT WOULD IT BE TO ADD A FEW RECIPES TO THE FORGE?

EDIT: so there’s 20 known precursors so add 20 recipes to the forge- surely its not that difficult/complicated????

dumb idea to have a set mystic forge recipe for a precursor if you understand economics you would understand why and plus why would they want to do something like that when they want there legendaries to be hard to obtain and one fo the hard part is in fact getting the precursor. Kinda wish ppl would stop making threads about this or merge all the kittening and complaints into one.

After hearing the twitch its mainly focused WvW Spvp and that aspect. Ok but will there be a twitch for legendaries new dungeons maybe and most important lodestone drop rates stuff like that. I feel like that’s equally important and im sure a lot of people want to know as well.

How will you fix these wvw zerges where you cant even see the enemies? When will we see like more then 5 man dungeons. Last thing any news about new ways to farm lodestones?
