I have the ground problem every time I log into DR. It’s weird looking straight to the ground from the top level. I’ve noticed the generic “doll” models when I load near an event. Models will stand there arms and legs spread frozen for about 20 seconds before they switch to normal.
This happened to me this morning. I was killed by her at least 10 times. She always spawned right behind me, even if I was alone away from events. I’d open my map and bam, dead. I took screenshots of some of them. I was starting to think Scarlet is controlled by a mod and they were having fun with me. Here are some screenshots.
My thief’s first find was a black 15 minutes into the game. Coincidence or not, it was awesome.
My email was hammered with attempts from different cities in China twice. I wish they would give me the choice to say “just ignore anything coming from outside my country”. I don’t plan on going to China anytime soon, and if I was I doubt I would play GW2 while there.
I got one this morning with 1 copper attached. I thought that was hilarious.
Thank you for talking to us about it.
I just hit 80, so ask me in another month.
Was farming last night and some players were really mad that we “messed up the rotation” and killed the giant after doing the helicopter. About half the zerg would go to The Giant because he’s right next to it, and the others would port out and get so upset that one guy wanted to report us as griefers. Where in the rules does it say that everyone has to play the game the same way? Isn’t that what’s nice about GW, that it’s different? It’s not my fault you spent money on a karma boost and aren’t getting 100% of the karma you think you should. I hope they change these events to get rid of the zerg karma train that everyone thinks they have to do.

I love the email authentication you use to keep me secure, but can we get the option to just auto deny any attempts from outside the country? My inbox is getting spammed today from people in China trying to log in. I’m never going to China, so why should I even get these emails? Just auto deny.
I only use it for events with a lot of people. With axes or greatsword, by the time I get close enough to use an AOE, they are usually dead.
I’ve got full butter and I haven’t even tried cooking yet. It’s kind of ridiculous that something that goes bad if you leave it outside for a few minutes is being carried in every creature’s bag like it’s gold.
For the love of all that is good in the land, plz shut up vendors!

There is this one kid in Divinity’s Reach that just screams “OOOOHHHHHAHOHAHOH”. If I ever find that little kitten I’m going to rip his throat out. It’s the only one that gets to me.
It depends on the time of day when zones are empty. I found out today that 5:00am is the best time to try and get some alone time with the Shatterer. I soloed him for a few minutes until a few others showed up. It took us about 15 minutes to kill him. While it is frustrating when stuff like that happens, it’s also pretty fun.
Mine are 71, 22, 20, 14, and 6.
I think everyone pretty much does the same events, and the mid level ones get forgotten. Most are either low alts or 80 mains. From 50-70 it’s a ghost town in a lot of places.
Knockdowns don’t hurt so if I miss a dodge or block than I just wait and continue my murder spree as soon as I get up.
That is the most popular botting spot in the game. It’s perfect for it. They stand back on the partial bridge and just spam their abilities. Usually nothing gets close to them because there are so many bots. It also makes it really hard for real players to do the event.
Wow, and here I was mad that almost everything in the area I’m in poisons you.
I just killed a dragon tonight and got a bunch of stuff. I even got two of the same pistol which I thought was odd.
The hammer is too slow. I take too much damage using it.
Do not use vengeance in a personal story. I did it last night and after I died it made me use a waypoint outside the instance which both cost me money and reset the mission. It won’t let you retry from the checkpoint.

For Blood Legion!
All I see is a giant lion’s rear end.
This happens to me as well, but not all the time.
Charge, Savage Leap, Bull's Charge auto targeting to closest enemy?

I do it all the time. I’ll be running along and hit bulls charge right into a moa that was off to the side.
I want a two handed axe for my warrior.
Warrior. No doubt about it. It’s easy, and gives you a lot of choice for weapons. Level one til you feel comfortable with how the game works, then try something else.
Also, Mesmer is not a straight up casting class. You can melee with it(sort of), shoot with it, or cast with it. Ele is the caster class, and there is a steep learning curve.

It’s the universal time that makes it easy to do everything at once on every server across the world. No matter where you play, it happens at the same moment for everyone.
Come one man, it’s your girlfriend. If you don’t want to give her fake stuff in a video game, you might want to rethink the relationship because they want real stuff also.
It’s how they are supposed to work. It actually has a message saying you are getting this buff thanks to our guild. Someone planted one right next to a rich mining node. It was awesome, and I actually thought about contacting them to join because that was a cool thing to do.
As a Warrior that uses a bow for range, it would be strange to see a quiver full of flaming arrows slung over my back.
I have an ele also and it’s a lot harder, especially the personal story stuff.
It’s just a copy of the main server with people that also didn’t make it in. You can still do everything except play with people from the main server. One thing I noticed is that they are not exact copies in terms of time. It might be day in the overflow, and night in the main. Events also don’t pop at the same time in both.
Engineer is really limited in their weapon choice, but seems really op underwater, at least at lower levels. Slinging bombs at things seems a little overkill. I love my Warrior, and it’s my main. You can use so many different weapons that you can’t get bored. I haven’t had much experience with Thief yet.
I’m curious also. I started out leveling with a greatsword because it’s awesome, but I’ve settled on sword and board for the last 30 levels with bow as a backup for range. I’m only 56, but I feel comfortable with what I’m using right now.
I wish I had set a last name to my main.
Yeah, that is annoying. It always switches randomly to a friendly player in the middle of a fight.
If it gives you the next step in the story, then don’t worry about it. You can’t go back and redo personal story missions so it doesn’t matter.
You didn’t fail it if it gave you loot and xp.
My biggest problem with the camera is that you can’t look up. If there was a first person mode it would help when trying to look off in the distance at stuff on a hill.
I think that the xp you get from rezzing is your reward for doing it. I don’t think there will be a lot of people stopping to do it at end game like they do leveling. As for healing, I think it’s everyone for themself there. I’m not going to be a healer for anyone when they can dodge the big hits and heal themselves. That’s on them.
I think the whole credit system is screwy. My warrior will be banging on a Champion the whole fight and I end up with a bronze, but walk by an escort quest and never fight and get a gold. I tend to switch from bow to sword depending on the situation and if I use the bow with AOE I hardly ever get gold, but get a ton of loot if there are lots of mobs. When I use a sword I get less loot but get more karma because the system seems to give more credit to non AOE attacks.
