your opinion on how housing can work:D
Does it need to work? Seems to me to be totally unnecessary. We have guild halls, we don’t need personal housing.
We do have guild halls, but I want something where we can costumize our way such as housing in wildstar
I disagree because:
- They’re not grindy.
- I do not want character-based mastery grind ever. This will be much more of a nuisance.
I suppose you missed the part where the OP said that if you don’t believe them to be grindy, then don’t post.
But in all seriousness…I guess it’s subjective. But everyone’s opinion is valid. Why not expand upon your reasons for finding or not finding an aspect of the game grindy instead of making simple statements? That will surely forward the discussion.
We should make a poll to see if they are grindy because it can be debatable
My question is why we didn’t saw Mordrem Gorillas since we explore the jungle while Zhaitan had Risen Gorillas?
“I wonder if Anet will ever do a revamp to this city so every house can be accessible because there are a lot of house on top of the wall and I would love to have housing over there.”
Probably not. It would be a huge amount of work and player housing would be better in an instanced area such as your home instance where it doesn’t tie up increasing amounts of map space and also have abandoned houses where people build for a while then stop playing or stop working on the house.
I agree that it will take a long time, but they dont have to do everything at the sametime, small changes make big impacts, and about housing, I think the wall with lots of houses can be instances too, you can take a portal to get inside your house on top, but would love to know your opinion on how housing can work:D
In any case I actually have a question regarding her. Not sure if it is known. But she says something about being a mesmer helps her with her transition. But I’m curious can mesmer permanently shapeshift or does she only craft illusions to make her appear as her appearance has changed but has not actually?
Mesmers don’t usually shapeshift in the way that term is usually meant; they use glamors and illusions to fool the senses into perceiving an appearance that is different from what it genuinely is. The exception to that is the “moa” elite skill since, as a polymorph, that affects characters outside themselves. But that’s a pretty specialized skill whose origins remain somewhat mysterious. If Sya has determined a way to use her polymorph abilities to shapeshift it would be pretty revolutionary, and probably very costly!
But mesmers don’t need to use that much magic to keep up smaller illusions, and those that are cast frequently and kept up for long periods might very well be considered “permanent” enough for someone like Sya, and a lot less costly than using a polymorph. Kasmeer herself has alluded in the past to the notion that her clothing might very well just be an illusion, and while there are those who believe that was just her way of being playful, the best mesmers are those who will always leave you wondering whether you can ever trust your senses again. :-)
SPOILERS, ESPER Specialization Confirm
I would say she got killed by Ettin or kitten d to dead by bandits
This is all pure speculation and theory, but what if all the ley energy leaking from Tyria is actually a 7th elder dragon trying to coalesce into one while the 6 are trying to hold it back?
The 6 dragons are known to consume all the magic in Tyria until it is at a low level. Is this cycle meant to actually hold something back that could do more harm than good if all elder dragons were killed?
bro, by any chance you watch Naruto?
This aren’t tail beasts, just saying
Can anyone tell me if the giant rock behind queen jennah has any meaning or why is there in first place?
While getting map completion for the eighth time, I start noticing all the little details Anet added to this city such as book carts, some open houses and random NPCs like “Undertaker Diarmad”. So I wonder if Anet will ever do a revamp to this city so every house can be accessible because there are a lot of house on top of the wall and I would love to have housing over there.
and If not can anyone tell me why Anet didn’t had any consistency in some areas. and what were the ideas when building this beautiful city?

In the Gw2 Wiki under Elder Dragon, if you scroll down to the Trivia, you will find this
“Dragons were not always the main antagonists of Guild Wars 2. According to The Making of Guild Wars 2 book, original drafts for story included demons and angelic beings descending to the world to judge it.”
Can anyone elaborate what they know?
Now I’m curious and want to know if this will end up being part of the game after we kill the remaining elder dragons.
You have to talk to the Black Lion Weapons Specialist . Put the tools in your bags and you should see the option to convert to account bound when you talk to them.

Thank you so much I didn’t know I had to have my gathering tools on my bag to be able to change them
Greeting, I recently came back to Guild wars 2 and I want to have one Toon just to farm for materials. Nevertheless, I have a set of gathering tools that are souldbound to my main and I saw a video long time ago that there was an NPC that can changed them to account bound. Can anyone tell me if the NPC has been removed or where I can find it?

First of all, I’m new to the forum , but I’ll like to express my own opinion. I don’t intend to insult or disrespect someone.
My idea is to make dungeons like fractals ( having a difficulty level) I love to do dungeons, but I hears some people think dungeons are too easy, well sometimes I agree, I help my guild mates with dungeons runs , but when I do dungeons with a hardcore group they become boring. This may stop dungeon farming ( I’m not against or in favor) but the difficulty level can help with the reward system.
Perhaps someone else already came up with this idea, but I just want to see this in the game, to keep players playing.
