Pearl Weapons. I’ve got a problem discovering some of the “pearl” weapon sets. I discovered today Greatsword, Axe and a Dagger. My next step was to discover a sword, but when i put the ingredients it says I miss 4th ingredient….

Basic discovery that worked for all other weapons I made and it worked

Is anyone experience the same problem?

I literally have no more strength in me to fight with EE. Everything else runs smooth and i can download stuff with an incredible speed and i love it! So, my solution to you guys is to use anonymous VPN service. IT WORKS! Since I’ve been using VPN no more problems with lag in peak times! Might not be best solution, but it works and I can enjoy the game again!

thank God I’m not the only one. I do too have problem with prime time gaming and I use EE also (west midlands). Ill try to call them tomorrow and see what they will say to me. Everything started 4 days ago (literally day after BW3). If any of you guys will get a solution to our problem, please post is here for everyone. Thank You.

I experience a lot of problems with The Crown Pavilion, for some reasons my guardian can play there without a lag but when i switch to my other toons they are lagging as HELL. Some of my characters can’t even pass through loading screen, that happens in different times each day…

dude you made my day, necro is my next new toon i got to 80, and when i started reading necromancer section all i could see is this guy " TheMightyAltroll" posting everywhere link to his thread… At first i wasn’t bothered since as i said i’m new and didn’t want to cause problems BUT hey i’m not alone so kitten it!

If you play main casual group, I would recommend condition build.
If you want to kill as fast as possible, go power with berserker. (but mind you that is like mimicking a zerker warrior)

For PvE, I’d def recommend power over conditions.

I personally use 30/0/10/20/10.

On blood, can swap BloodThrist & Transfusion around for group support. Wells & Vamp Precision. Dagger for faster CDs if you prefer staby staby.

Spite Axe for Marks tho 10% of power isn’t huge. (Less than 1dps increse). Might on DS1 for 50% downed dam can help in hard places as 1target fear isn’t exactly good at keeping ya safe while down.

You can also swap around traits for faster minion CD & more minion dam for boring farming wimpy mobs in magic find gear.

Anyway, that’s my swis army knife for PvE build(s)

power build with Berserker gear mate? or gear with power as main stat? Thanks for that!

Hello good lads, I’ve recently hit level 80 with my yet another toon. I’ve already two set of exotic gears for my newly Necromancer (Rabid and Berserker). Unfortunately I don’t know how to play necro as good as I play my Guardian. Can anyone help me with a good PvE build? I would really appreciate it!

i’m new lvl 80 necromancer (not new in game, just my new lvl 80 toon) which of the condition builds is easier to learn for newbies? Thanks. (i got full TA gear with condition damage is that any good?)

Can someone be so kind and clarify a few things for me?

1. With tomorrows new update we won’t be able to finish any of the F&F achievements right?
2. Will we be ever able to finish them off in the future?

there’s no such bug or flaw, people (those who are alive) just need to stop auto attacking and distance themselfs from the laser beams. my group just completed CoE all paths without any problems, hell i even say THANKS FOR THE NERFS, its even easier than CoF now.

I’ve a strange graphic issue with “ropes” in game… they are flashing like crazy but only ropes nothing else in game does that to me, when i change perspective it’s going back to normal… I re-installed drivers (own nvidia Geforce 460) and still get the same thing.

I’m having issues with my account after wintersday event. In peak time around 5 GMT and after i randomly lose connection to the login server, my friends are in unknown locations, i am the only one in the guild, guild chat and other chats not working, can’t join fractals with my group…

steps i’ve done:

- disabled firewall
- added ports that GW2 uses to inbound and outbound rules
- flushed DNS
- altered UAC to run GW2 as an administrator

Still experience same thing.

P.S i just want to mention that i can still play and do dungeons etc. just the fact that i don’t see pm nor i can send any and guild with guild chat is broken

In my guild we call it “pug tactic” because no matter how many times i cleared dungeons with my guild, pugs have always different approach and tactic.

P.S if you guys complain about people glitching boss fights, post them right here so anet can get them sorted before it will spread, otherwise don’t bother.

Two shout warriors with “for great justice” as auto-cast will give you permanent might even sitting in LA while being afk…. on top of that two of them in melee with AH guardian can 3 man CoF (apart from path 3) and CoE if not the gad kitten laser beams and 4 people to shut them down

Are you saying your “fluffing” guardian spec can solo kill everyone in that particular event room? or run away like a crazy chicken? Respectful team of 5 people can do it without running and paying for repair.

Great that people contribute with their guides but your guardian overview is bad, really bad, like you have never played a guardian before. Healing gear and staff? What a waste of a guardian in a dungeon

New players can go ahead and test it out, it’s their choice but i recommend posting opinions for new people in this thread before they will go and run wild in exp dungeons.

Best for guardian is Scepter and Sword with Focus. I made the Shield just for complimentary look, obviously I am not going to make The Minstrel (one of the worst looking legendary out there). Everyone and their mom uses GS, that thing is overrated. Either Hammer, Staff or Sword would be the best for guardian depend on whether you want to PvE or WvW focus.

hammer and focus/scepter with greatsword…. staff is the WORSE WEAPON guardian can possibly use in a fight, unless you use it for swiftness, and yes shield is awesome looking legendary.

You’re kidding right? Staff guardian is the best support class in the game. Party with one who go support build, then you see a huge different when you’re in a party without one, constant heal and buffs (25 stacks of might every fight) :P

Greatsword damage is the highest for a guardian but the trade off for survivability isn’t worth it compared to sword&focus. Even Hammer is better because of crowd control in both pve and wvw. The sword damage isn’t that much less since you can do a crit build, you can pretty much crit every hit with a sword. It is also the best weapon for wvw for a guardian since it good for chasing people down and running away when it paired up with a focus. Great survivability, a bit less damage than greatsword and a whole lot better than GS when chasing people and running away.
