Because that literally has never happened during any MMORPG release. Ever.

Oh wait, I can name a recent MMORPG release where all the servers filled up in less than a week and they had to add new servers to compensate. It’s called Guild Wars 2.

The payment model really has nothing to do with it. The whole $15 a month actually pays for stuff" argument is a myth, debunked four or so years ago and still remains so to this day.

B2P model is preventing developers from wanting to keep their subscribers happy and busy.When a developer from gw2 came and told me that “Dont expect that much cause this is the payment model” i was waiting for this kind of result.

because WoW is totally dead, they are definitely gonna be shutting the servers down next week because GW2 killed it dead.

get over yourself, WoW will die one day but it won’t be because of any single game and it will be a slow process (one that actually started a while ago), as it is now WoW is still going strong, and I’d be surprised if it weren’t doing better or equal to GW2.

By the way, Anet has publically stated that since they have no subscription model, they understand that people will get bored and take breaks. They almost encourage it. They also have acknowledged that while they will continue to provide support and content updates, they are not required to keep you entertained 100% of the time for months on end like subscription based games.

So if you truely are bored, take a break and come back in a week or two, fresh and new, and roll an alt.

Truthfully, we all will eventually hit the wall in terms of:
-Map completion
-Crafting completion
-Exotic sets
-Crafting legendaries
-Dungeon sets
-sPVP/WvW

At which time you either will continue your grind/boredom, roll an alt, or walk away for a while. Happens in every game and theres no reason to believe it wont here. For me, since I took it slow and didnt rush to server first this time around, I will probably be able to go through Thanksgiving or even to Christmas until I am in the position where I want to take a break. Thats after an exotic set or two for my Thief, 100% completion, crafting completion, and hopefully legendary…at this point I’ll probably have one or two alts to 80 with semi-decent gear.

If u wanna Player vs Player 1v1 (80% skill n 20% class/gear) + should practice and learn how the opposite class is workin cause half of the gw2 players dont know even how PvP is workin

I was gathering herbs around the mount maelstrom and i was waiting for them to respawn,after an hour the herbs didn respawn..I choose to teleport at the mists and i went back..no herbs around.then i choose to go to the mist and then to Lions Arch..
After that i choose to go back to mount maelstrom and all gathering resources are BACK.
It seems that u have to leave the area and then to re-enter..
Try and confirm this one

(Im talking only about the harvest one, herbs etc)

Is there any respawn system for gathering resources?
Im gathering herbs at mount maelstrom and im waiting for herbs to respawn..
Guess what..im there for an hour..im not farming orichalcums im trying to farm HERBS.
Should i leave the area and re-enter?I dont know really..

Dueling, no – just go to sPvP if you want to test your skill.

1. You will be able to have the option to share or not to share..Believe me if someone want to be your clone he will be at no time..and
2.About dueling,i dont ge it really..why dont we have the option to duel with our friends or our guildmates or even a stranger… u know that kind of options are improving the social system around u.
For the name of mmos make gw2 mmo..
