+1 I’m trying to look at this match up as a learning experience for my guildies, to dominate the lower tiers using newer strategies and practicing against great opponents.

Second night in a row the wife spent awhile in EB JP determined to finish it (now 4:30am) , yet again CD takes the cake and kills her near the end…repeatedly

If she jumps on tomorrow night, that won’t be happening, if you’re in the way & start a fight, you die.

Update;

You should only really be trying to do the EB JP if we have control. Otherwise it’s just annoying without a team.

About Us
Helix is a mature age Oceanic Sea of Sorrows guild consisting of mainly Australian players, but open to all. It as founded in November 2012 by Jeremy who had realised that a large guild was not suited for him. The Helix founders have been part of Sea of Sorrows from launch, and have no intention of moving. We will be on Sea of Sorrows during the triumphant rises and falls from grace. The guild initially started with a core of 4 real life friends/family from Melbourne, Australia but has since expanded to have a core of 10 that are regularly online and ready to do group content. Most of our core group have backgrounds in other MMORPGs such as the original Guild Wars and World of Warcraft.

Mission Statement
Our goal is to promote a friendly and mature guild atmosphere that allows all our members to grow as people, as well as players. Our senior members are expected to groom new players and mentor them in areas they want support in. Helix’s long term goal is to bring our Guild Wars 2 family beyond this game and into the next, creating friendships that last a life time. Our in game goals are to gather enough influence to create Guild Missions, successfully run these events, as well as assist in the rebuilding phase of Sea of Sorrows in World v World, coordinating with like-minded guilds to help bring Sea of Sorrows back to it’s former glory. In terms of WvW, Helix operates as a small operations team, taking care of current assets, as well as obtaining camps to assist the larger guilds with supply for offensive siege.

Roster
Our current roster consists of a core of 10 active players with 36 total. Our goal is to get 20 active members then cap the roster so that all 20 can bond and become a tight knit family for years to come. We currently have 2 NA players on our roster as well.

Daily Events
Helix generally run spur of the moment daily events with interested guild members such as Dungeon Runs, Fractals of the Mists, and small ops havoc roaming squads in WvW. Currently, we are too small to set scheduled events but this will definitely be implemented in future.

Communication
We have a guild TeamSpeak server which we encourage all guild members to be active in. It’s quite friendly in there and is a great place to just talk in general. We also have separate channels for when guild members break into groups for dungeons, WvW, etc. For those that are a bit shy, we also have an active presence in Guild Chat. There is also a Helix guild forum http://teamhelix.enjin.com/ for breaking down strategies, builds, and other topics.

Then set up some system whereby populations from areas outside a server’s region are balanced out among all the servers or population capped or integrated into a regions’s servers in some kind of balance that prevents the one-sided kind of rudeness (for lack of a better term) that is currently occurring.

I don’t mean to sound ‘rude’, but SoR has been in Tier 1 for 2 weeks and is already feeling burnt out by the 24/7 action of Tier 1? I’m sorry, but we’ve all been working our hats off for over 2 months now, both JQ and SoS. Please just deal with it.

Before you say anything about the server I’m on, I’m from SoS, and I know that JQ has better coverage than us now, but that’s how the game is. I love WvW and some you win, and some you lose.

We use teamspeak and are a WvW/PvE guild. We tend to just talk on TS3 most of the time casually and do whatever we feel like.

While I agree with majority of your suggestions, the problem with them is that people think mesmers are already OP and making them more efficient with these tweaks will cause QQ threads like never before. lol.

I really like most of them, i think Signet of Midnight should have passive +movement speed. That way people may actually use signets in mesmer builds lol.

Are you making sure that you’re in range for every skill? I’m not sure if you’re aware, but that red line under your skill means that you arent in range. If you keep moving closer the red line will disappear telling you that you’re in range for the skill.

You can only generate clones when in combat or you have something targetted and in range. for example if you have autotarget turned on and you’re running past a mob and they’re agro’d when you dodge it will generate a clone, however if you’re not in range, and they have not been agro’d dodging will not generate a clone.

Thanks Aveneo. That’s exactly what the issue is with the bug

After changing the rune on my Helm from Rune of Grenth to Rune of the Air. It visually showed up as having 6/6 runes of the air. When in fact I only had 1 equipped.

I tested to see if the attributes were still unlocked even when having 1 rune of the air by removing the piece of armor and re-quipping but it seems that only the first rune attribute works (correct behaviour, thus only visual)

I took a screenshot of this, but what’s more interesting is that when i applied a second rune of the air to a second piece of armor the rune now shows up as 7/6 runes of the air. Once again, i tested the equipping method to see if it was just visual. I also tested swiftness to see if my 2 rune attribute was working correctly. To which it was. My temporal curtain increased from 12s to 15.5s

You’ve basically described Helix [HLX] in a nutshell. We prefer to retain our smaller size in comparisson to some other guilds, as we enjoy interaction with our members. We are focused in WvW but generally are PvE’ing a lot when there’s less people on. We have a Teamspeak 3 server and are looking for people like yourself to chit chat during our gameplay.

Most of our members are in the mid 20’s and a lot of us play basketball and watch NBA/AFL and other sports.
