Sick and tired of people referring to Line of Sight (LoS) as bad usage. By using objects in the game to your advantage you are using a method called LoS that has been around since the earliest of games. This is not an exploit and most games promote the idea of using LoS to your advantage.
By hopping up onto the tree, you are only using a strategy that has been used in many other games, because Mossman “looses sight” of you and cannot reach you with his melee skills. This is why he tries to run around the tree multiple times to reposition himself and find kitten that he can melee in. He still can throw his axe at you. Guild wars, unlike most games uses a dodge mechanism, so most people rely on dodges before LoS, and this may explain the aloofness that LoS is a game strategy.

Formally Naked N Drunk [NUDE], now Beige [NUDE], due to an ill-disposed change by Anet, is now recruiting on the Darkhaven server! We are recruiting for all timezones: NA/EU/SEA.

When we are not at the liquor store, you can usually find us on Home Borderlands (sometimes drunk, sometimes naked, and sometimes both).. We do border hop, we have crazy parties in TS, and we kill kitten. But we also like to ram it up hard (not up Emma’s behind though!). We love taking small groups to other maps and using our sexy bodies to our advantage, if you know what I mean.

NUDE is also currently expanding our EU / SEA and Oceanic time zones, so that at all times of the day, we do have people on borderlands and in our Teamspeak channel. For example, our current roster on the weekends will vary from 15-30 players online and on a weeknight (NA timezone) 10-20. As for EU prime time it will be anywhere from 5-10 players, perfect for making a small roaming group during the day.

Another thing, and you may have heard, we are famous for our defense of home borderland. You will NOT find another guild that is as obsessed about having our home border 100% ours, upgraded, sieged, and defended. We are RARELY on EB. We are a specialized borderland map WvW guild and we are good at what we do on these borders. We offer various commanders to our server. We DO NOT have zerg busting commanders and we do not yell “stack, stack, stack!”. We play for PPT. Small scale and tower/keep defense is our thing. That means we welcome any and all pugs(heroes) to follow our commanders.

With that being said, we are NOT a serious hardcore guild. We kitten around most of the time and somehow get things done… with style. We are also known far and wide from our weekly raid event called “Naked Nite”. This is our way of letting loose and having a blast… usually drunk and armor-less all night long. Oh and did I mention, we are very LGBT friendly!

We do offer weekly guild missions, a custom guild arena, and a “PvE” day for people who insist on doing that. Our guild upgrades that are important are constantly available: +5 supply, 10% magic find, 10% gathering, etc..

[NUDE] requires that you use the Darkhaven public teamspeak. We do have our own channel and we use it, we welcome anyone to come party in our TS channel! We also use the public WvW channels for most events. Since we use teamspeak, and we have people who play this game for the social aspect as well as WvW, we are a close group and very very SOCIAL. Don’t be surprised if you join and 2 months later we know all of your deepest darkest secrets We support each other ingame and in real life, we throw birthday parties and send each other get well gifts. We have a very active guild forum and a facebook group that is used daily.

Hey there, I would check with your ISP about that lag. The NA and EU servers are all in the same spot (Texas, correct me if I’m wrong) so there is no difference.

Hate to break it to ya, but finding a silver server with night coverage is near impossible now. I think FSP was one of the last ones with night coverage and they moved up to gold because of it.
Mid-tier gold is the new silver. Consider FSP or anything higher if you are looking for night coverage

Thank you guys for all the bumps! You want to know one reason we left NA servers? Because we found that EU servers were more mature and had less trolls. As you see, our dear Amber does not get along with them No clue why, but we are MUCH happier with the community on the EU server.

Thank you for the kind words Xerion <3 As he said, we are not all Americans and we do not all play in the middle of the night to night cap. Sure, on an easy week we can karma train our PPT pretty high, and it’s a nice break from the serious stuff. But not every week is easy. Most are hard and there are various weeks when we have to focus on home bl because enemies ALSO have night crews capping things. The higher tier you go, the more night crew every server has!

I am going to 2nd what Amber said. Sounds like you would be a good fit for FSP. We are NA and didn’t consider going EU at first, but we do not regret it

Highly recommend this guild! They are still around from when I was on the server. The leader is very organized and fun to follow. If you are looking into being better or just starting in WvW this is def the guild to be in.

We are originally an American guild that came to the EU server, Far Shiverpeaks over 9 months ago. We all know that many things can happen in 9 months, and many things have happened for our guild. We have grown, we have expanded to more than just Americans, and most of us have at least once gotten drunk in Teamspeak and and made a fool of ourselves.

I’d like to also add that we’ve been on FSP now for about 5 months and we couldn’t love it more. Everyone is very respectful, fun, and works together. We are so happy here. FSP has learned that if they join the [NUDE] Teamspeak channel they are in for some good music, jokes, and lots of wvw

Our guild focus is WvW (sometimes drunk, sometimes naked, and sometimes both).

Naked n Drunk was officially formed as a homeland defense guild, so most of our members know the ins and outs of defending.

But we also like to ram it up hard (not up Amber’s behind though!). We love taking small groups to other maps and using our sexy bodies to our advantage, if you know what I mean.

95% of our time is spent in WvW (5% at the liquor store), but we consider ourselves casual. We are NOT a zerg-busting guild! We do not yell stack stack stack! We have commanders, but we do small scale and sometimes Pug. We know what we are doing, and how to do it in style and with lots of laughs.

We don’t like to load everyone down with events and want our members to play as they choose. None of these events are required, but we try to have at least a small variety of things to do inside and sometimes outside of WvW:

-Saturdays: Our WvW naked night 10pm EST/4am CET – this is our unwind from the work week party. Take your armor off if you choose, grab a beer, and get rowdy in Teamspeak.

-Sundays: Crazy PvE day. Since we’re all totally hungover from the night before, some of us sleep in, while other people get Fractals and jumping puzzles out of their systems.

-Monday: Guild Missions 8pm EST/1am CET – We currently have guild bounties, guild rush, and Guild treks to do!

So if alcohol and nakedness have enticed you this far into reading, here are some easier bullet points to read:
- We love fun! No seriousness allowed. Dirty jokes are abound. Adults only!

If you’re considering transferring servers to join us, Farshiverpeaks has many perks!

- Farshiverpeaks has a maturity level beyond most servers.
- If you are coming from an NA server, keep in mind that even though we are mid-tier, the Euro servers are more populated than NA servers, and that you will ALWAYS have a fight, and there’s always a commander even during the “middle of the night”.

It was meant to be a joke. Amber loves Crystal Desert Borderlands. Some call her Queen of CDBL. So the phrase “Amber for President” would be seen frequently in map chat when a tower was saved by Commander Amber Vine, but Amber is a very selfless person and told people not to say that. She believed it was her “heroes” that always saved CDBL, not only her. One day, Commander El Fiero thought he would pull a prank on Amber Vine. He created a guild named Amber for President and giggled in Teamspeak while he invited all of his friends, including Amber.

That night was also WvW reset night, and these WvW’ers decided that they would defend the homeland with the [AFP] tag. Victory followed. [AFP] became known as “The Official Crystal Desert Homeland Defense Guild”. The homeland was now safe.

[AFP] is now looking for brave protectors that put fun and defending first. You must enjoy building and refreshing siege, scouting, walking dolyaks, and remember not to be too serious.

[AFP] facts:
- We ONLY defend CD borderlands, so you are welcome to rep other guilds on other maps.
- We host and teach a monthly server-wide “Homeland Defense” class.
- Our commanders (all 20+ of them) all have guild ranks that allow them to use upgrades.
- We use the CD community teamspeak.
- We are mostly NA.

That’s so frustrating. I do remember from our last match up with SBI, someone said SBI’s main focus is always EBG because you don’t have enough to cover both maps. Guess people are taking advantage.

Are you sure it’s not our tower scouts? Since we moved to tier 3, we’ve realized we need to start leaving scouts in our towers if at all possible. People will volunteer to scout when they are either eating or doing homework. So that is why they don’t go out to fight. They are just there to report to the commander if there is a zerg around.
