Ok, am I the only one that thinks that right now, besides all the other issues (balance, spectate mode, paid tournys, ladders ..) the most important think is to have more variety on spvp? GW1 RA/TA team death matches, as far as I know, were D most played game types on GW1.
So TDM arenas are not on Anet short-terms plans? C’mon, how hard to give us few 4v4 small/medium maps wo capture points?
On a sidenote, most QQ about balance may be also tied to this repetitive spvp game mode.

There are plenty of threads already asking for more pvp options, but my question is plain simply, why the hack didn’t Anet provided TDM 4v4 Random/Team Arenas as we have on GW1?
Can we just please have a reasonable answer to that?
On a sidenote, the current hot-join (and even tournaments) resembles more of GW1’s Alliances Battles than actually TA/RA arenas. Don’t get me wrong, I actually love it, but Guild Wars was know to be fun for the variety of pvp options (TA/RA/GVG/JQ/FA/HA..), so why not give old school gw1 players what they loved about this game instead of a single general arena? I’m getting bored, just dinged R30 and I don’t see ranking up anymore on the very same set of maps and match type over and over….
“A rating system is dearly needed, because grinding for 3 years to get rank 80 is just fundamentallykitten "..
If you ever played GW 1, you would know that few players will ever reach top ranks, and that’s pretty much ok.
If you also played GW1, you would also know that Anet is really committed about PVP always balancing things out, nerfing and buffing skills, not only to plain the battleground but also to give players new options to build more innovative builds.
If you also played GW1, you would know that if you don’t time your skills you will be face rolled by another player/team that does. Interupting was a major skill on GW1 and is also in here and that’s a kind of skill that you can only have knowing other classes mechanics and animations.
For those who ever played GW1 they know upfront that there’s no such thing as an OP class, maybe OP build until Anet nerfs it, and believe me, they do. If you feel like a fail than it’s because someone feels like a winner, time to you to rethink your build or wait for the next patch.
yes it is possible, and yes there are some players exploiting memory rewriting to get greater health, damage and speed hacking. As usual, it boils down to the community to report such players so Anet can take a look and ban such scrubs.
I am rank 25 and i dont’t get assigned to weak teams all the time. The main problem imo is that leavers starts leaving as soons as the score diff between teams is above 100. Plp just don’t realize that groups are remixed every single round and that switching to a new server wont help it. Tbh I’m more worried to the number of speedhackers around lately.
