But power, precision and all others except boon/condition you get from gear or minor traits in that specialization (virtues recharge from virtues specialization). And gear stats are buffed up to counter loss of stats from traits, but there are no counter for boon/condition duration loss.

I have lost +30% boon duration I had on my shout guardian from virtues trait line that is almost 1/4 less might, regeneration, stability, protection, retaliation and so on. Will there be any way to fix that.

For hibari and other that keep saying we shold have enough hero points to unlock everything. That is true only for lvl80 characters. On lower level we DON’T HAVE ANY POINTS, ALL OUR POINTS ARE ALREADY SPENT ON BUILD THEY GAVE US, AND WE CAN’T TRAIN ANYTHING UNTIL WE LEVEL UP AND GET MORE POINTS.

P.S. Sorry for caps, i was just frustrated that people asume we are idiots that don’t understand anything. We know how to unlock and select traits, but on lower level characters all points are spent on build they gave us.

You’re not paying for the core game, it’s included for free. As a bonus for those who don’t have it.

And where is my bonus for being a vet player?

You got both living story seasons for free, in addition to many skins and items that are no longer accessible to new players.

I preordered original game, and played since headstart and i DON’T get living story seasons for free because i was not online when they are up. Now I need to pay for them 1000+ gems (not sure exact price).

I was expecting to game to be around $40-60 as that’s what most new games are priced at. Anyone who complains they bought the game recently at $10-15 and now complain the first part is included with HoT and not they feel ripped off? I have no time for you. Really? Anet basically gave you the game at $10.

HoT is not “NEW GAME”. It is expansion for old game. And for some people even 10$ is a lot money.

Reread what I said. It states that it is indeed the same value since Anet is giving away the Core game for $10, where that is the price of a new character slot. Tow bundles aimed at two different types of people. I fully believe in supporting additional content. I do not believe in screwing over Veteran Players over something as trivial as not having a couple additional bundles.

I have no use for an extra character slot however. Already have one reserved for trying out revenant, and I could easily clear out a second one any time.

You don’t have uses for one, but many a player has. The content of the expansion isn’t worth 50 dollars/euros for me, at best 35. Adding a character slot would at least make the punch in the guts sufferable, like an Ice Bucket Challenge done for the game’s future.

And many players don’t have use for character slot. Even those who have use for it, including me, can buy it for gold without using real money.

What annoys people is that HoT is sold as a bundle with, as a bonus for new players, the core game. Veteran players, on the other hand, won’t get any bonus at all. Therefore we are questioning ourselves: why keep being so supportive when, in the end, they barely pay attention to us and make everything just to get new players that come and go instead of keeping and taking care of their most solid playerbase.

As for taking care of their solid playerbase we got an entire first season 1 for free that nobody new will ever get to experience again in the same way, not to mention all the exclusive items no longer available for newer players. Oh and what about the guild hall, arena, new wvw map, new areas and so forth, is that not for the original player base then? Is that not stuff people been asking for for AGES?

We got 1st season becaus we bought original game not expansion. And not all player who have original game had played 1st season, some bought game after that and didnt get that exclusive items you mention.

I planed to buy gems for 20€ today, but after I saw price of HoT and what we get for that I decided not to buy neither. Luckily I saw it before I bought gems and saved 20€.
