Do you guys get black screen and dc message when you dc? Or get sent back to character screen?

I get dc a lot after recent patches and kept getting sent back to character screen. When I log back in there’s anywhere 5-10 mins of rollback on my character. My position got rolled back and all the stuff I sold return so I can sell them again.

I never encountered this problem myself but I’ve ran into one person who claimed that this bug had happened to him for several scales in the 20-50 bracket while he was doing the fractal hero achievement. He just had to redo the ones that didn’t count for him. So I think this is a thing for a few people.

I know this is trivial but don’t leave a fractal too early upon completion. At least wait till the return to lab window pop up.

I second 52 Volcanic farm. I farmed up about 20 Shards in a couple days and not a single person I ran with got less than 3 Shards per hour. Some people like to farm 60 Jade Maw thinking there’s more veterans to kill thus have a higher drop rate which isn’t the case.

Read it again. It says “Hint: Take your Primed Raven and a Vision Crystal to the Raven Shaman’s Power Source hidden within Darkhoof Heights in Snowden Drifts and use it to meld your Raven with the tamed spirit you have cultivated.”

You do not have the “tamed spirit”, which is two icons to the right of it.

Not everything in this collection is done in order. IIRC the “Combine Raven and Spirit” collectable was the final step I did in Nevermore IV.

Also, Nevermore is uncraftable for those who haven’t purchased Harpy Feathers from the Skritt vendor in the Hinterlands before.

The Harpy Feathers are needed to craft one of the trophies (Nesting Materials) in Nevermore IV. The feathers are account bound and only sold by Skritt Hitkiti after completing the event “Defend the skritt thieves while they steal harpy eggs” in Hinterlands. This event does not start at all on any map IPs, and it’s been like this for months.

I did the event a couple of months ago and you’re the first person I’ve seen have problems with it… are you sure? The feathers are also soulbound too by the way.

Yes, I’m 100% positive. A few month ago when you did it, it wasn’t bugged. If you Google around, you’ll find several reports about this dated around 1 month back. But before knowing that, I’ve been camping at the event for many hours and days straight. While camping, I’ve seen so many others came and left disappointed when they found out it just won’t start. I’m definitely not alone.

It only occurs once per map, you have to wait to get onto a new map, it does pop, just once per instance.

How do you find a new instance on a map like Harathi Hinterlands? It’s a fairly low-pop map and I tried revisiting/relogging back into it once every several minutes but it still puts me in the same old IP.

i must be missing something. how is 108 < 102? are you counting the upgrade? because i don’t think those are included in the 5% ascended stat increase.

You missed factoring in the gem slot on the exotic. There’s only a fusion slot on the Ascended. With the gem slot, the exotic gives much higher stats.

Camped at it for hours, on different map IPs. Definitely bugged. And from what people were reporting, it seems like that it was bugged for a really long time without any fix.

Either fix the event or make feathers not bound on pick up so others can sell them. It’s needed for Nevermore. This issue is just as annoying as the Rabbit not working.

I requested help from GM but they were only able to mail me the Rabbit trophy, not Harpy Feathers.

Please fix the event or else people who don’t have the feathers can’t proceed with Nevermore.

Please fix this event so it can start again. Been camping at the event and the Skritts just stood there not starting the event. People also need Harpy Feathers to craft a trophy in Nevermore IV.

If I remember correctly you get 3 spirit shards each time you finish Dragon Stand meta, and it’s repeatable. This may not be the “best” way and I haven’t touched DS in a while.

For those of you who posted success stories of finishing Friend of the Owls by logging in to do it 4 in the morning or having to pay gold to trolls… Anet is probably gonna look at it and say, “See, it’s doable, why do we have to fix it?”

Those things are doable. They should at least fix the bugged collectibles.

No hotfix today, which is depressing. I bought this content, why are they not fixing it?

Around the release, there were several hotfixes, no one complained. So whats the matter of not hotfixing such little bugs, blocking such important things?

Doable but unreasonable, very. I’m more concerned about the Owl collectible than the two bugged ones, because the bugged collectibles will guaranteed to be fixed, it’s just matter of time. There’s no telling if they’re going to change how the Owl event works. I don’t want to stay up late or empty out my wallet to trolls every night just to hope for that off-chance of success.

Anet, please change how “Friend of the Owl” is done! This is a ridiculous design having to pay or trick new players just to not mess it up – a practice that should never be encouraged in any online game.

I also filed a report and got immediate response saying they acknowledge the problem. I think they’re purposely not prioritizing the fix to push some LS2 sales. If it’s really true then it’s gross.

I made a ticket on the web site regarding the missing Tyria mastery points from story quests. Got a reply via email. Said they’re aware of the situation although they cannot address every issue they receive on the forums. Now just hope this problem is serious enough for them prioritize it. The more people report it to them, they quicker they might fix it.

Yeah. I hope Anet acknowledges this bug and fix it promptly. I was hoping to use character story quest to fill up my last few missing Tyria masteries, but it doesn’t work right now. The people who have completed personal stories prior to the expansion were lucky and received these masteries.

I’ve never entered another person’s story quest nor vice versa. I just checked and I have the achievement. It even shows that I’m supposed to be rewarded a mastery point for that, yet I didn’t get it.

Anet needs to fix this.

Some achievements also give mastery points.

Go to your achievements panel. The red starburst is notation for Tyria mastery points. If there are achievements for Tyria mastery for finishing Story Missions for the first time, and there is a notation with the red star burst on it- then yes.

If you already have these achieves, then you won’t get mastery points for them again because they were retroactively credited to your account.

The problem is that on the wiki, if you scroll down a bit, it says finishing level 10, 20 and 30 story quests for each race gives 1 mastery each.

But it clearly isn’t the case as I’ve just completed a level 10 quest chain on a new race that I’ve never played before and no mastery.

This appears to be a glitch that I’m sure people would like to know ArenaNet’s response to this, if there isn’t one yet.

I see. Well I just made a new race and completed the level 10 story quest chain, didn’t get the mastery. I see on the wiki that I was supposed to get a mastery there too.

Is ArenaNet aware of this glitch? To anyone who submitted a ticket regarding losing mastery points to this, were you successful on claiming your lost mastery points?

In the Rata Novan quest chain at Tangled Depth, after protecting Zildi in step 2, people got gold medal but did not get credit for step 2. Instead they got credit for step 3.
