If SOR is wondering about all these ‘BG trolls’, perhaps they should go back and check all thoer comments. Sure there is some trolling and chest thumping from BG and while I don’t agree with it, it’s all in retaliation to the copious amounts of un-classy SOR posters.

DB you guys are showing a lot of class despite being outnumbered by both servers, keep up the awesome work and enjoy the fights you have.

SOR, stop complaining about coverage. You have NA/EU coverage stacked, we have OC/SEA stacked….it balances out.

Let’s start to increase the maturity level a bit in this thread and actually enjoy the game without the drama on here. Everyone needs to follow that advice thier mums gave/ used to give them “if you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all”

last week was interesting as it felt the most even in a long time, this was due to jq acting in polar opposites in their na and sea timeslots. This effextively allowed sor and bg to go at it and the dact it was neck and neck midweek was awesome.

the current 12k difference is nothing really, it will be interesting to see how this match progresses.

Also it’s awesome to see db right there. You guys should push hard this week all week and see whats possible. You guys have freshened up tier 1 (though there are no tiers really..or shouldn’t be).

Guess you haven’t been on in SoR Oceanic? Generally you guys have at least 1 map zerg of 50+ swapping maps. Sometimes is two groups of 40+.

It’s whats good about it for us, is SoR always has the coverage in oceanic, it’s just late oceanic to sea when the coverage starts dropping.

But that’s also all fine as SoR have the EU / NA coverage and we have Oceanic / SEA. It’s what keeps stuff even between us.

They just transferred to Sanctum of Rall.

I’d like to know what in game name they commanded Team Legacy….being part of the AA, they were hardly the most admirable guild in the end.

Thanks for taking a screenshot of the entire Blackgate EU force with less than 20 HB present. Really shows how well BG can work with lesser numbers and still be effective against the huge zergs IRON and KISS put out for SoR.

I should have known better than to reply to you, your obviously a troll or plain stupid. (The internet, a place where you can be whatever you want, its a shame so many people choose to be stupid)

1. The angle doesn’t show the HB members on the door nor those on the pier.

2. When players are stacked like such, you cannot see the tags of all the players, you may be able to count 19 (i havn’t checked) but i assure you there is a lot more than 19 HB there

3. HB do not have a bad reputation, the more you throw pointless arguments in their defence, it taints their reputation as people know u are talking bull and reflect that back onto the guild

I’m sure you’ll have another response to this but i’ll leave it here

Point 2, i don’t think there’s a lot more than 20ish HB, there is a lot of pugs on other guilds however.

Point 3, yeah you have a point there, but you should also be talking to your guys who have shown made some pretty un-classy comments in this thread.

Also remember, we don’t have the same kind of EU you guys have, so don’t expect HB to actively GvG you when we have stuff to look after. I’m sure if they see you on the field then you can expect them to engage you, as they love the fights (unless they have something more important to do).

To the BG on JQ BL, you would do better if you split your 70 man zerg up into a couple groups rather than rolling in one big group.

Sounds like we have unconfirmed reports of the BT + ICoa megablob.

There’s a pot and kettle statement if ever i’ve heard one.

Also to all the nonsense about BG having 4 queues during SEA….I’m happy to assume this is possible on the weekend, but the weekends do not in any way count towards average numbers in wvw.

During the majority of the match up (ie the week), we maybe have queues on 2 maps during SEA. MERC floats and NOC will float too (if we are up late enough for early – mid SEA) and never have a problem with queues. It’s also important to note these queues are only around 5-10mins max.

Any comments from people not on BG stating to have more knowledge on this are really just trolls….doing what they do.

This definitely needs an acknowledgment that ANET is aware of this and agree it’s not ‘working as intended’ and will do something to fix this.

It is a completely open gateway for the less morally inclined people to abuse the hell out of this.

FEAR have been endlessly accused of exploiting and there have been plenty of images and videos to show it.

Even if its this approved wider FOV system anet have approved, this guild is still pathetic for resorting to such tactics.

It’s morally exploiting and I for one would never do it on principle.

It’s also embarrassing on Anet’s behalf of allowing such a thing, hopefully they see this thread and the video of where AC’s can hit with this technology.

This aside I’m sure the fights this week will be good again…even if lame guilds resort to cheap tactics.

It’s nice to see some concrete indisputable evidence of SoR hacking. What’s obvious here is it is fully condoned by the main commander on the map.

It’s pretty disgraceful and what’s more disgraceful is the lack of accountability taken.

I guess SoR can overlook stuff like FEAR rezzing memsers through walls etc…let’s see them overlook this….

To SoR and JQ,

Never mind the BG Trolls, or the overly excited members posting in defense of BG or even in general. We have a policy on not trolling in the forums (of course you can’t control everyone), but I’m sure you can understand that with a potential win this week for BG and your own server trolls out and about, we will have a few members active….it’s only natural.

Nevertheless this week has been the most competitive week of WvW I’ve seen in a long time, in fact possibly the most competitive…going all the way back to the AA days for us (NOC) in particular.

It’s been awesome to see an invigorated JQ and a continuing unrelenting SoR. I have definitely noticed a true and honest 1v1v1 for the first time in a while also, which has put some life into what was becoming a stale match up.

I think JQ’s comeback has created a scenario where all 3 servers have the chance now to take top spot.

I will be happy if this same match up occurs next week, if not I’ll look foward to it again.

Also this match up threads seems generally less toxic also…another tick in the box this week.

It seems to me that JQ is a server that once upon a time was as good as they thought they were. SOR is a server that generally tends to be as good as they think they are. Sadly BG is a server that has never been, isn’t and likely will never be as good as they think they are.

anyways it’s been a fun week so far. Oceanic fights have been good, we are doing pretty good despite the attention from jq and sor.

Please choose Dragonbrand, Tarnished Coast or Fort Aspenwood.

You can see BG, SoR and JQ are very close, we have strengths and weaknesses that balance each other out.

If you really want to make an impact on NA and care about overall even competition then choose DB, TC or FA. If your numbers are as they say they are, it will hopefully create a 4th server of equal coverage to BG, SoR and JQ and bring about true and real competition.

If you go to SoR, BG or JQ….you may as well expect PvDoor on a stacked server. Don’t fall for nonsense from trolls, this is fact.

Why does anyone even listen to Burl, he’s just a broken record of tears and petty whining and most of the time he’s either off the mark or his points are irrelevant.

In other news, there have been some good fights tonight, but definitely this tier is pretty stale.

Good on Anet for actively looking to change things up, hopefully it happens this week

Noc had a fantastic night again. It was epic turning up in EB to hold WM and thier cronies off of our lowlands then proceed to dish out a thumping for the next hour. You kaiening guys have some crazy numbers!

Impressed with TC’s numbers initially in kaineing borderlands, took us a wee while to get our tower back!

Good fights tonight!, pretty sure NOC hit every borderland tonight.

You Meow guys hit us good initially on BG. We had to get organised quickly to deal with it before clearing you off the map. You definitely showed good co-ordination.

Hopefully now by the time i’ve logged, BG would have taken the lead back.

Nice try FA trying to take TC vale off us in EBG 3 or 4 times! That was some fun portal bombing we did.

Nice work on TC almost taking BG Garrison, a bit of co-ordination seemed to drag BG commanders in from all maps to stop that dead in its tracks!

Anyone who was in Bay on BG BL late last night… that was some crazy stuff. Lots of fun.

Don’t know if you’re talking almost Oceanic times, but NOC and militia took bay off JQ and then held them out of the lords room…it was epic.

Then MERC saw us there and brought all of SoS to clear us out.

Was a good night!

Blackgate is looking for some more Oceanic Guilds. Currently we have, Nocturnal, Resonance, Conquest and the Aussie portion of KnT.

We are up against a large contingent of JQ and SoS Oceanic coverage and with what we have stand our ground.

If you’re an Oceanic guild looking for a co-ordinated, drama free environment the Blackgate Oceanic time slot is for you.

Originally NOC were on ET and made the switch to BG when ET fell, we had to move to survive as a guild. Since then we have picked up more members and even had another guild come over to us.

If you’re really looking for some good competition in a great environment get in contact with myself, or the well known faces of Riven or Nirvii.

Now is the best time to get to a stable server with guaranteed competition.

Pretty sure we’ve been giving you guys the answer for weeks now.

Coverage.

We get bent over in Oceanic until afternoon.

While we struggle in Oceanic, due to the severe lack of Australian guilds and numbers, I think we punch well above our weight. A lot of last week we kept the ppt at around 190, which is high against the numbers we faced.

It does help having some of our SEA guilds log in earlier and some of our NA guilds are staying up a bit to help plug that timeslot.

I welcome this weeks fights against our Aussie and SEA counterparts. The more against us the better!

[NOC] Nocturnal, Had a blast tonight. Has some great 3 way open field battles towards the end of the night on JQ BL.

Sorry for bailing so early on SOS, MERC. We had a tower in JQ to look after :p

Have to say cheers to SOS. NOC has come out the last couple of nights, completely outnumbered against SOS and had a blast.

We held hills last night in SOS BL and held onto Cliffside in BG BL tonight, would have attacked garrison but we didn’t get enough support.

Definitely enjoyed the fights against MERC and DIE and had some amusing moments focusing the two ex NOC now DIE thieves.

Being back in Tier 1 is refreshing, as its been a while since the days of ET and the 2 or 3 weeks we had with BG.

You are still tarring the whole server…from the acts of individuals that have been dealt with. It’s childish.

How about keeping it on topic to the match at hand…if you are actually on one of these servers do them a favour and get out and help them in game where it’s actually fun. Too many forum warriors here.

I have to say, this has been a very fun match up. Last week was good, but this week SoR and IoJ Oceanics have come out swinging. Apologies I can’t comment on any of IoJ other time zones as I’m oceanic.

I’d just ignore him Liquid…he is also one person of little consquence. BG’s rep is fine and anyone with a shred of intellect knows that tarring a whole group with the same brush is a silly thing to do.

@dissonance, we were planning those golems for about 30mins prior, it just so happened that your attack on AB was perfect timing. It was the last act of the night for NOC and a few others, seemed like you guys returned the favour not long after!
