i’ve seen the N word dropped multiple times in map chat, nothing has happened to some of those people

so this past week i’ve been messing with you fellas in some jumping puzzles, great folk, lots of good fights, this one had to of been the best though. Fun pulling whoever this was off the ledges, kudos to the fight, confused as to how you beat me when you got 1 shoted then 2 shoted though :/

from my stand point your post shows you might want to look at your build, im a glass cannon thief hitting anywhere between 2-12k burst damage in a second or so but the catch is, 2500 armor and 20k hp, its wonderful, you might want to double check how you have your guard spec’d

i use gems, valk gems to be exact, 20k hp 3k attack, 40 chance, 105 damage

same on Fort Aspenwood, i think they did it because it forces you to use the pact weapons

torch makes sense, but i still want my damn burst build rifle, thats what theives are right? bursty?

I would love a new Shotbow but i dunno how long can it take and if it will even use the gifts of fortune and majesty which i already have…

For the moment i might go for the nyan bow, i mean, its easily noticeable and it´s not that bad. Plus i would get pretty kitten if i get pwnd by a rainbow shooting mf

in my response to this, today in like 3-4 hours of fractals/tequtal and jormag i got 11 rares, 1 exotic, 1 precursor. I don’t think the drop rate is broken

well the point being if you put 4 of the same exotic in then you get an exotic of the same kind, the point being i should of gotten another dagger not a trident, unless this was a recent change.

so i just put in 4 exotics daggers and got a trident :| come on guys

I’d love to be able to get Lodestones with the tokens from that dungeon. Ex: CoE tokens can be used to get a Charged Lodestone.
I think with the right token price it could work well. It would encourage more people to do dungeons also. Right now I never get a group for a dungeon that is solely from people within my own home world server.

Also, it would drop some of the prices for them on the TP, especially the ridiculous Charged Lodestone and give people a way to obtain them rather then simply buying them or hoping for the RNG to favor them that day. It would make the progression of actually getting all the lodestones you need actually feel like your progressing towards your goal as you would KNOW that you will get another lodestone by getting enough tokens rather than hoping for it to drop randomly.

i really like this idea im in dire need of some molten/destroyer lodestones and this would really help me out with getting those, plus i rarely ever get them to drop in the dungeons.
if you don’t like that idea maybe just up the drop rate a little

bah i’ve been working for my dual incinerators, and was happy for the price to go down the other day, but now when i look instead of spark being 300+ gold for only 4ish of them its now 200+ gold for 40ish of them, that doesn’t really help, what i feel like happened to some is when people sold them for dirt cheap, people bought them and just are going to either A. wait for it to go up B. turn it around and sell it for a bit of a profit. either one of those will raise the prices. I like the idea of an event/quest to get it, but i also don’t like that because it is what keeps most people from having them imo. Im almost done with mine i just need some lodestones, runestones, and precursor, if it was only a quest then i feel like it would be rather easy to get in the end.

Dungeons and PvE are doable and even easy for a thief that’s properly built.
I use a S/P+SB thief with power/tough/vit as my stat focus. I out dps most people (my attack is over 3200, when I complete my gear it’ll be over 3400). the problem is most thieves try to go the stealth/glass cannon route which isn’t how you play PvE, that will get you killed in the later level areas such as Orr and dungeons.

i have a stealth/steel cannon route i go with on wvw/pve it works wonderfully, i rarely die pve, and wvw doesn’t really count for much, i can defiantly hold my own against multiple people though.

it’s funny i posted this to see the different responses from here compared to thieves section, it’s ridiculous at the amount of people who kitten about thieves hitting this hard compared to warriors :|

i’ve done it about 30 times and heres what i use/have
skills: d/d(sigil of perception/rage) sb(sigil of blood).
Hide in shadows, Shadow Refuge, Signet of Shadows, Signet of Agility, theives guild
gear:
all my acces are beryl etc of the valkyrie
then all my gear is valkyrie gear with emerald orbs for added toughness, excluding hood/gloves with is ‘serker
works nicely usually don’t get down’d during lupi unless he insta focuses me, i can keep my life up with HiS and the sigil of blood on my shortbow, besides that just really time your dodges right

we might want to implement non english speaking forums, because this guy either has had no schooling what so ever, or english is not his native language. side note it’s not that hard, ill explain it sense you don’t want to watch the 2 minute video.
phase 1:(100-75% hp)stack and range, kill grubs
phase 2:(75-40ish%) run around range him, avoid red circles, and green globs of poop he throws at you, if you die go back to waypoint and hurry back, the globs hit for 15k so make sure you have at least 15k hp so you don’ tget one shoted
phase 3:(40ish-0%hp) range dps him down avoid the big circle and the small circle, and bubble, only way i can get outta that is with my thief tele skills, can’t roll out(working as intended?, someone confirm this?) so idk what skills you have to get out of it, most of my team just facetanked it though.

anyway i like these ideas, but my own idea is, go back to the old way where you get tokens in each chest but make it, i know people hate RNG, but make it random, either the amount you get or the frequency of getting them, that would be up too you guys(anet) to decided.
