is Monk outfit reintroduced because was faulty?
if yes, how about Ceremonial outfit, when is going to be fixed?
I have send plenty reports for the neck ornament bug with long hair styles, mainly to females of all races. I spend extra gems on hair kits, just to make it look fine

Please pass this complain to the designer team or who ever is responsible for this mess, and do something about it or reply to us “we can not fix it, deal with it”.
Ceremonial outfit is really nice, the only heavy outfit Anet has release until now, by forcing to wear helmet in order to cover the bug is not a proper solution.

Sorry but you do not have to pay monthly sub on EVE, if you can collect the amount to buy a PLEX with ingame currency.
Also EVE online core game price is 7.50£ = 12$ (Steam) +30days free

A new player on EVE can start buying PLEX after 4-5 months, by doing mining, lvl4 or lvl5 missions, PvP raids, PvE raids etc
A player on EVE needs to spend all lot of time to lvl his toon in order to be competitive.
GW2 compare to EVE, is like comparing a sheep to a wolf.

I was playing 5 years EVE, I stopped when GW2 released, not because of the monthly sub, I spend similar amount on gems but because is a different game, with a nice community.

Therefore you can not compare every game sub or no sub with GW2.
Pizza is not like Pasta even if both are foods.

Please do not run silent, this issue is not like megaservers, ascended gear, mass events, dungeon bugs, WvW trolls etc
You need to come out and clean it either by explaining or apologizing.

As a company you always advertise how great GW2 community is (true), well all these people here complaining are part of this community. All these people spend time, real money/gems, debates on forum etc to make GW2 a shinny place for everyone.
They deserve a better treatment….not another mess.

I do not mind your price tag, for me 50$ is fine. But your methods to sell HoT are not.
I would like more info for HoT content to decide if I will buy it full price or not.
Selling Core Game + HoT is a nice deal for new players.

I like your idea @vizera but I do not think ArenaNet is going to allow trading ascended gear. You can not even salvage it.
It will help of course all people including myself who have plenty ascended boxes sitting on our bank.

One time Re-Pick is something they did also in the past, and I would like to have it again. (I hope community will support it and ArenaNet will hear it)

Also cause of HoT is chance to have a legendary armor by upgrading the existing ascended.

1. EVE: Valkyrie is a multiplayer dogfighting game (a simulator), you can not compare it with GW2 its not the same type of game.
2. EVE as an MMO is unique, GW2 is not unique (except no trinity).
2. EVE: Online has 12yrs history and CCP does not have a leash like Arena has from Ncsoft.

I know there has already been lots of discussion about why we can’t mix and match parts of outfits, so I am not going to go that far. However, we are able to hide the head armor of an outfit, can we also get the ability to hide other sections too? Normal armor lets us hide shoulders and hands, and I would love to have this available for outfits too.

I agree with you.

But even if you hide them, the specific outfit has another problem the neck ornament.
That thing clips with most long hair style for males or females, also makes Asura look like mini clowns.

It’s one of the nicest heavy outfits, but probably the people who designed it they never tested it.

I do not see fixing or editing (hide parts) in outfits as require more work….for them it will be more easy to throw more gem outfits and make cash flow.

I almost always make my own LFG, with my guild or when I’m alone. I never once asked for gear check, no necros, no rangers, zerk only, meta only. Never, not once. And all the time, my friends or guildmate ask for something like that I always ask them to get rid of it.

The cm party you had was a speed one and those will most likely include a thief for stealt, if you want to label your group as the representation for the whole dungeon community, you are being narrow sighted and your other example did not make sense at all xD signets are generally not meta because those are selfish boons but you wanted him to bring a banner which is meta xD You didn’t want him to play how he wants which has been your whole argument to let others play how they want dungeons are all about teamwork but that applies to both sides

As for my CM party they should have know that Mesmer Cloak = skip some parts = more speed that doing by 4 people.

try to explain someone joining a lfg wth clear requirements, yet you do not know the dungeon at all and then stay silent the whole run an dying. As soon they vote to kick you, you start talking but insulting everyone cause you can’t play how you want. Was the ranger running bear bow with a pet always on aggro or ignoring the lfg entirely?

Probably you do not pug very much are you? cause every 2 days I watch or hear examples similar to this. Ranger was 7kAP, knew about CoE, did not play LB, and did not insult anyone even when was kicked. He just wanted to play a different class for a change.

You want another example, lets see CM P3, my thief friend had to go, so I post “P3exp – lvl80 +3kAP”, the party was formed by previous paths by 2 War and an Ele .

A 12kAP Mesmer joined and was kicked, they change my lfg post asking for a Thief even when I explain them that Mesmer is fine.

Finally we had to run 4 the path because nobody joined…..took more time more press on me as a guard and no fun at the end.

I understand and accept people who want the best gear, the exact class, full dps.
But lfg made everyone to ask the same things, so too many restrictions.

Dungeons need to bring back the “teamplay” not the “soloplay”, its like once in SE I asked a War to drop a strength banner and reply to me “what? u want me to loose my dps from signets”

Anyway, I really want dungeons to be fun and challenging and I hope that after HoT Arena can show them some love, because always the feeling on doing a dungeon is different than doing a boss with 50 people hitting on it.

Today this feeling is lost somewhere between run and zerk. Only in high lvl FoTM you can enjoy it.

GW2 need a tutorial by Arena on how they should run their dungeons.
The idea of creating your own lfg just to play as you want is an excuse, cause meta has become a “plague”.

Example :
Before 2-3days a ranger opened a typical lfg on CoE “Full Run-lvl80pls” and after some minutes was kicked by the party cause he was not meta…..try to explain to this guy why was kicked, and whats the point to go again to any dungeon or create an lfg when anytime he can be kicked because he wants to plays as he likes with any class he likes.

Then don’t do meta and play how you want to play. Nobody is trying to stop you. With the numbers of people complaining about how meta is boring, I can’t believe you can’t form a guild or find each other in a LFG.

You can not play as you want cause community forces to play a specific style either meta-zerk or kick. Most lfg’s are like these, including gear check, no necros, no rangers, not this not that. Too many restrictions for a mod which suppose to aim on teamplay not just DPS.

In many ways new players are eliminated by “dungeon community”, while veterans who try different things have to roll-back to meta.

The first year of GW2, dungeons were attractive & fun, not because people did not know how to speed run them with stack, but because people played as they want.

Even if ArenaNet creates new dungeons with the same “philosophy”, they will be “dead” in 4-6 months. Therefore they need to bring some roles on the table, and they can do that by re-design/re-work the existing ones.

Since day one people have written posts and posts on how dungeons can be more fun, more challenging but Arena never took the time to read them.

As long as events like SW have better rewards and you can play as you like, I do not see any future for dungeons.

The game has become a Large Farm.
some examples:
1. Cursed shore – Farming Train (Karma, Loot Bags)
2. Dry Top – Farming Train (Karma, Loot Bags)
3. Dungeons – Gold Farming
4. EoTM – LvLing & Farming Train

There is so much grind that you can not have fun anymore.
As long as they releasing “farming” contents based on brainless zerging, nothing will change.

GW2 needs an expansion, veterans are leaving cause there is nothing new….thats the worst advertisement.
ArenaNet needs to put new stuff on the table, like classes, weapons, maps, dungeons (or redesign the old ones).

As for WvW, its been 2yrs and still the simplest thing : badges of honor are useless.

I also hope for a large expansion or dlc……

I just wanted to report that the new Gem Store Outfit (Ceremonial Plated Outfit), glitches with 24 of the female human hair styles (see attachments) because of the neck ornament. I really love this outfit but with so many glitches we don’t have many choices if we want to use it without the helmet. There is any chance this will get fixed?

Lua is right.
Also we can not use the majority of shields because of shoulders clipping.
If shoulders can not be fixed give us the option to hide them. OR release appropriate weapon skins for every unique armor.

I really like the armor but spending, 250 gems to change haircut is not a solution when I paid 700 gems.

Fix or remove neck ornament.

try to explain that thing to the people who play Guards like Warriors, i.e. no removing conditions or buffing the party.

To all new Guards my advise as “old” Guard, PROTECT the party, use your skills, WoR is a tool u need in most dungeons (like CM, SE), dps is not your priority!!
