Well, we resurrected Lazarus just so we could kill him, i guess any stupidly insame out of this world twist of the story is possible.
My 2 cents: Balthazar is in reality that dude that got stuck in the well.
This game has drifted very very very far away from the epicness of the original GW, where the pvp was alive and balance, faction battles were fun, stuff was working as intended and bugs were getting fixed.
Now we have a core game that is neglected, broken pvp, broken WvW, abandoned dungeons, gated raids where you gotta play the meta of GTFO. Anet still throws wip cream on top of it to hide the bad taste.
This game is not aging well and its a shame. Mounts, new elites spec and art wont change that.
I might just buy it out of curiosity, but since the dungeons were abandoned, lots of bugs from the core game are left unfixed, I’m still not convinced.
Feels like Anet is pouring lots of spicy gravy on a tasteless meatloaf.
It feels like we’ve been served leftovers.
There is a difference between annoying and challenging.
The challenge here is to try and not get too annoyed, because so far that’s all i got. From figuring out puzzles, to fighting some over power counterpart, to disappearing updraft. One of the most awesome feature in this game is dodging, but its pretty much useless in the final fight. It felt more like ‘’Caudecus revisited’’ then anything.
On the good side, lots of GW1 lore and no lesbian love affairs.
After a few times having to rez her, i decided to camp on her spot. Since the sparks are going for her no matter what, that did the job for me.
Why is a necro wearing heavy armor ?

Here you go. Lots of stuff going on.
=P
The good side is: its not killing the map like the engi farm in Lake Doric.
How is it “killing the map”?
Just 1 exemple:
Imelhoof poped when i tried the engi farming. He was greeted by about 175 turrets. but killing him fail because no one went after him when he left the turret’s range.
I used to go there before that engi farm stuff started, doing the Saindra Heaven events were really fun. But now i rarely see anyone when i go there. So now, i only go there for the peach and magic dailies.
It might be populated enough on week ends, but it used to be populated all the time and i dont think Draconis Mons has anything to do with it. Check out Bitterfrost and its always well populated.
So I don’t think your example explains how the turret farm is killing the map. It just illustrates that things change and that there’s a lot of stuff going on.
Bitterfrost is a far easier location to farm unbound (and loot for that matter) than Doric; that’s why it remains populated. Immelhof hardly ever got taken down when Doric first appeared and for many weeks after. That only changed when people started to zerg-farm leather.
Go check it out, you’ll see.
Only coming back for the week to farm these pvers and throw siege on their bodies \o/
If that’s what it takes to make you feel you are somebody, enjoy it.

As far as I,m concerned, Anet gave us the mean to get the leather price down to something reasonable, we just aint doing it.
Maybe the fashion designers at Aneth should be transferred to the dungeon bugs department.
Funny and sadly true…
Engineer farm… they have no impact on leather, they farm crap and are slowly killing the map.
The leather farm was announced when the map came out.
The nerf on the spawning rate was also announce.
The more they farm, the lower the price. I’m ok with that
The thing is, they are NOT farming leather, they are farming random crap.
Beside, a small group of 2-10 players can easily farm the crazed ponies by going by the back door. I’ve done it with a friend and got about double worth of gold in about half the time. So real leather farming is still doable in a map clogged up by the scrapyard.

everytime this is brought up the same response is given:
The people who make gemstore items have nothing to do with fixing bugs. GW2 isnt run by like 2 people. They have teams.
Well, maybe instead of making MORE trench coat, they could slap around the team that does the bug fixes.
The engi farm in LD gives very little leather since you gotta farm the crazed centaures to get the Bloodstone-Warped Hide, and those ponies are only found if you go up the hill. I tried it once for a bit less then 2 hrs and its not profitable nor fun.
The engi farm is a waiste of a pretty nice map, where active people used to do events. Now its a turrets graveyard.
Spacial Surge does four ticks I have a Mesmer (even in the combat log you’ll see a string of four strikes when they do it. And with your crit numbers, their out putting 3200, but the crit numbers I’ve seen aren’t more than 490 a tick which could reach 1960 damage.
Spatial Surge is 3 ticks and my numbers were from a glass elementalist.
Below is a sample of a single Mesmer. For context, 35 is the base tick of 1 stack of confusion, 94 is attacking with 1 stack and 378 is attacking with 4 stacks. As a bomber against 2 mesmers, that’s going to be 8 stacks for ~7200 damage over 4 seconds from confusion, for a total of ~10k including the other attacks.
Have you tried to dodge it?
I tried it for 2 hrs. The centaures at the bottom dont drop the bloodstain thing that gives leather.
In short, those engi are just semi-afk farming worthless stuff, if you get 5-7 gold hrs doing it.
The people assigned to the make those gem store items are also the same one fixing the bugs in the dungeons.
No.
Artists and programmers are not the same although there are some that can do both. It’s like how janitors and landscapers both maintain a facility but different different aspects of it.

Dear Aneth, about 6 months ago i was finally able to put together a decent PC to run GW2. I was a GW1 player from almost the beginning of it and i got all campaigns/expac. I played it with much love and fun right until after the launch of GW2. By that time most of the friends i had in-game had left for other MMOs or came here on GW2.
When i was finally able to play, its was one of the best gaming day of my life. I even have a co-worker that plays it too and that’s mostly what we talk about at work all day. He even gifted me with the Krytan armor pack from the gem store after hearing me talk about how it was some nice piece of art from GW1.
Now i’m adressing this question to any PR, Dev or staff member of Aneth:
Why another long coat in the gem store?
We have clearly voiced that we had enough of the medium armor art long coat/butt cape stuff. We said it when the legendary armor came out, many said it over the years and still we are getting this.
In a lot of the PR stuff i see on the net, one thing comes back over and over and its how Aneth is listening to its community, how you need our feed back to make this great game even greater.
I’m gonna make a suggestion here, since you are so tuned to our desires and needs why not from time to time; its does not have to be always; try to please us. So far 3 female armor sets are non buttcape/long coat: Sneakthief, Krytian, and Strider. The last 2 are from the gem store. I would not mind spitting up cash to get some nice piece of eye candy, but you are not providing it.
Please make me an happier player,
Thank you.
The people assigned to the make those gem store items are also the same one fixing the bugs in the dungeons.
Please can we make crow bars purchasable?
in Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns

Just running around, pitching in on event while opening cargos and my crowbar counts goes up.
They dont need to be bought, you get plenty of them doing really not much while you are in VB.
Unless you know the terrain, you cant really run from place to place in HoT. I learned it the hard way too, but i kept on and now i enjoy those fights way more then anything in the Vanilla game. I play a condi ranger in full viper gear so im pretty much a glass canon but i manage to survive.
Dodge, kyte, kill stuff and ALWAYS keep an eye on where you are standing.
I still maintain that Anet could have some fun with this. If winterberries has the same people inside a 2400 range AoE or something for 10 minutes, just dump a very angry invoulnerable berry troll out of the sky, instakilling people in a wide swath around it using a long channel AoE (ie easily dodgeable if the player is active).after a minute or two it runs away. Players killed by the berry troll cannot be ressed, they need to respawn.
Then just apply the same principle on the centaur camp and you’re set.
Or just use the berries themselves. Every 3 minutes, they pulse a berry freeze blast (10s expanding AoE circle). When it goes pop, everything freezes in place (including summons, but excluding ice based mobs of course). The freeze last as long as aegis (ie months) and the only way to get out is to port to a waypoint. Again, problem solved for very little effort and next to no impact to normal players.
For the LOL
Dear Anet, Tonite I’m planning on doing the Meta in Auric Bassin, do my dailies then farm some chests in Bitterfrost. Please be kind enough to recycle all greens and lower, recycle all rare worth less then 1 gold and send it all my loot in my bank.
Thank you.
P.S.: Would any Dev and or employee be kind enough to play my account in these instance? I really feel lazy tonite.
Maybe it dyes the inner lining.
=P
Not a problem.

I was there today, wanted to try out that farming thing with my engi. The squad i was in varied between 45 and 50 and it was not the only engi squad on that map.
When Immelhoof poped up he got greeted by about 200 turrets, but that was not enough to kill him. The event eventually failed due to the small amount of people who went after him. The same thing almost happened to the supply dolyak.
The nerf to the spawning rate of the horsies was not was that map needed. The way i see it, they need to be scattered over a larger area where fully active players could still farm them with the same result/income.
The income i got from it were not all that great. I get better results farming Bitterfrost where you get them mini brazier events all over, the berries wich can be converted to UM, the truck load of crap you get from chest runs and that you can turn into mats, and if you have the karma buff, you can go rampage in the forest for a nice bundle of it. On top of that you get to really learn how to play your toon, toy around with your specs and kick some 9 bosses.
Was in LD engi farming for 2 hrs and wont repeat the experience, there are far more enjoyable farms out there.
Tried it with my engi and the results were average at best. Might be good for semi-afk people, but as an active farm, Bitterfrost is better. You get brazier events all over the place, chest run after every storm and if you got the map karma buff you can get a nice bundle of that too.
Going up the hill.. Now that,s something else. You get way better results.
Bubba and Chubaka must be the most fun i had doing a collection for a legendary. Even if you are not crafting it, its worth the gold you spend on it.
Like they say, its mostly a long term goal, unless you are swimming in gold.
One good marketing idea would be to make this go away:
Awfully quick to jump to “Screw Anet they suck” aren’t ya?
The consoles reset. According to Wiki they reset daily or with different instances / characters if you successfully answer a question, or after 10 minutes if you get a wrong answer.
The achievement is simply to answer 20 questions correctly. You could do it 20 times at the same console if you wanted to wait / instance hop. That’s why there’s no checklist, because its not a “find all the consoles” achievement, just answering 20 questions total.
Still, a checklist would be very helpfull.

Slow, but takes about 10 mins a day. You’ll get loads of T6 mats and a nice bundle of gold.
I started doing this achievement today and i’m at the point where i’m only missing 2 of them. In many other collections/activities you can keep track of witch one you’ve done and have not done.
Now my question is why not in this one?? Am i to go back to all of them to find the ones i missed?
Looks like another half done job from anet….
-.-
look at the bright side, they just fixed a whole lot of stuff on the legendary armor.
Look at the bright side:
Bug Fixes
Audio has been added to the Red Envelope Mail Carrier.
Okay, so really what is Spiteful Spirit supposed to do now? Honestly you change the trait but can’t be bothered to change the tooltip??? How much programming does it take to change text?
In the approach to promoting the sale of the next expansion Anet had better do a lot better.
Dont be so hard on Anet because:

ANeT, the ranger needs a massive damage output boost not a nerf on anything.
You keep buffing the other classes to higher damage output(Revenant is even nastier) and nerf the ranger again(with small buff to SB). They keep slow boating ranger damage output.I’d love to see a true warrior, thief, mesmer or necro nerf. Warrior is still OP with all the invulnerable, blocks and such.
But I bet this section of the forums is ignored since ANeT hates the ranger. They only want ranger to play druid in their raid meta.
Are you for real? Our core profession has been competitive condition DPS for a long, long while now and being pidgeon-holed into our elite spec would only bring us down to the same level as other professions. Since Ele’s meteor shower nerf, condi Ranger has been tied with condi engi for top DPS in raids with far more ease of use and since the group’s Druid can provide spotter to open up hidden barbs and condi engis lack a good replacement for pinpoint distribution, the rangers don’t lose effectiveness for running multiple. I’ve seen raid teams just running rangers in every DPS slot, just like they used to with eles. This nerf was justified.
I’ve not seen Power Ranger doing much in raids and the ranger really doesn’t have much going for it in that department, but I can only guess they were decent enough in PvP because they deleted remorseless rampage as one.
So its all about raids then… I dont do raids. I dont want to do raids. I dont want to be told whats on my skill bar and how to play it. But since condi ranger were a little too powerfull in raids, ALL of the remaining non-raiding players will suffer from it. Nice.
Maybe, just MAYBE Anet should concentrate on fixing stuff instead of breaking it. (See the many other posts in the bug section for more details.)
I’m starting to miss my spirit spammer from GW….
-.-
My big and tall psycho maniac female norn ranger like to hack and slash and burn stuff while listening to stuff like this:
I looked up the wiki about that quest line once and wanted to do it, so i went to the pond, jumped in and interacted with the ‘’???’’ thing at the bottom of the pond. It gave me a gizmo to show the Charr npc and went on from there.
Tip: when he says ‘’wait a minute’’, wait the minute. =)
If you read the entire thread, people are saying that they tried this and there was no rift at the pond for them to jump into.
How long ago did you get the gizmo? The thought is that perhaps the quest line has been broken sometime recently.
I,ve been playing for 6 months, si i’d say it was about 3 months ago. After diving into the pond, i talked to that lovely Charr lad and he graciouly fixed my gizmo. I then proceeded to the little clearing just north of the pond and used the freaking thing.
POOF!!!! A nice rift opened up.
That quest line is really some messed up crap. First, you cant open a rift anywhere anytime. Second, the gizmo thing changes your skill bar, it could be numbers, or it could be some random crap that dont really take you anywhere.
But am I going to complain over some messed up, bugged up, butched up, hard to understand, abandoned quest line that is not getting me anywhere? No sir.
cough cough dulfy guides cough cough
There you go. =P
