Introduction: [BMO] Adventurethyme is a fights oriented guild that focuses heavily on open-field World vs World. Our members consist of Spvp and Wvw regulars, of whom had come together to create a fighting guild. Open-field is what we focus ourselves upon completely. We may do defending on a call-out, we may do tower capping, but open-field battle is what this guild is created for. Our guild is always looking to tackle challenges and we seek to preserve a winning attitude when doing so. As our members, you are constantly being evaluated by your peers and when you are not playing to what the team needs you to be you will be told as much and expected to improve. If you fail to show improvement, you will be removed from the roster. This is the content in the game that we enjoy doing, enjoy logging in for, and we want us as individuals, and as a group, to excel at it. We do accept guild vs guild and scrimmage. We currently reside in Sea of Sorrows NA.

Applicant Requirements: The following requirements are a must, for all members who wants to join/stay in the guild.

• Team-speak is a requirement, own a mic and be able to use it when necessary.
• Own either a Guardian, Warrior, Mesmer, Necromancer, Elementalist or Thief at 80.
• Willingness to take criticism/suggestions and changing of builds to support team play
• 100% [BMO] representing when in World vs World.
• Show up for [BMO] raids when you are online during our raids.
• Transfer to Sea of Sorrows or reside in Sea of Sorrows, as this is where [BMO] is currently residing.

I had a lot of fun fighting with Void, Zod from Eb and Hard and Mend on Ioj throughout the weekend. Great fights guys!

What is there to complain about? Each server has its own type of coverage and skill level. Neither of the 3 servers in this match up has guilds or zergs that are steam-rolling others 24/7. So theres really nothing to brag and/or whine about. Ebay, Ioj we know that there are better match ups for you guys to make it more fair. Dragonbrand players should also know that as well that we can get more challenges with different match ups.

so move the kitten on and be happy about the fights that we can dish out and have fun.

Dragonbrand has no honor… We are outnumbered in Ebay BL, and they still feel the need to send someone to start fortify at our keep, and then drain supply by building rams. haha its pretty awful.

You can’t be serious. EB and most any server does the exact same thing during our EU to Early Na. Back in seasons, EB spawn camp’d us in most BLs during our outmanned times and the same kitten was brought up. EB is not 1st place so expect it, we had to experience it and so did BP. Every losing server has players that cry and whine acting the victim. If you think EB doesn’t have any aggressive players/guild that farm any weaker servers, upgrade enemy keeps during dominating time zones, drain enemy supplies then you’re as blind as a bat. If the play style of such ways offend you then I suggest you go play pve.

What’s really funny about this is that some people actually LIKE pointless grinding and they believe that anyone else who doesn’t like pointless grinding as much as they do should be punished. I have plenty of chores to do around my home, I don’t need them in my gaming. But the thing is, I’m going to be forced to grind for ascended if I want to be on an even playing field with the masochists who enjoy that sort of thing.

Everyone has chores, then we play the game and do things that some consider chores or not in the game. If you want to complain about even playing fields backing your point with something that every player is responsible to weight the importance of is not the way to go.

An estimated 5-10% extra damage doesn’t make you OP? Okay…

That math is done purely on weapon comparison, it isn’t then matched against over-all stats.

The attack gained from exotic to ascended was ~55. Depending on your spec, thats 0.5-2%. The major stat gain is 0.5%, the minor stat gain is even less. Of your overall stats.

Again, if it is actually, “only” 0.5-2%, then what does it matter if it’s downgraded?

The real question is since its only .5-2% why not just keep it as is? Anet has 1 less thing to work on and u guys have 1 less thing to complain about.

Anet can now work on improving wvw’s other features while people who refuse to walk that extra mile, refuse to walk into spvp, refuse to accept that wvw is open field and it was never meant to give all players the same exact playing field to actually shut up and do something themselves about it by farming 10 minutes more a day.

Don’t like it? Anet can always remove all item drops and rewards from wvw and straight up give only wxp. But then people will also complaining about being unable to fight players who spend 130 points into great fortitude on even fields because some players refuse to spend their points there and wanted something like arrow Cart mastery.

Agreed. Guards inside towers should be 3x stronger hp/dps wise. Ranger pets should stay the hell outta towers. Stealth and buffs inside an enemy tower should not allowed unless a gate or wall is down. Defenders should be given 15-30% stat boosts, base on numbers of players inside a tower.

They can alway merge rank 10 and lower servers to a few single servers, we’ll come to see new power houses and less servers. Such as 10 total

If they’re going to downscale ascended to exotics with the backing of claiming how ascended items are suppose to be pve feature items. They might as remove rewards from wvw that contain pve items, since most pve items we get in wvw can somehow and ultimately result to ascended gear (salvaging gear for magic find which can be used in pve or gold/karma/mats). Since people apparently like limiting wvw so bad to a scale, why not disable possible tp purchased items from wvw as well since they are pve items. Make wvw it’s own set of stats and char info then reset our characters, lets all be naked while we raid wvw, don’t even give us a kitten weapon, everything we can wear should be from effing badges! We’ll be scaled there……Oh wait we have that, spvp.

Ascended items just released, the prices to craft them is player base, anet even throws out nearly free ascended trinkets, no ones complaining about scaling those to exotics now are they (after being out for plenty of months).

Transmuted Legendary and Precursors.

I have a sunrise and a twilight, and sadly i transmuted one of them with berzerker exotic a while back. But now after a few weeks I am hoping to mystic forge both to create eternity but i cannot see my twilight (which was transmuted) in the forge.
I know that this issue has came up in the past before, but little solution or reply is given to those threads.

Can someone help/reassure me?

What you said explicitly states you think TC should be scrutinized for its server status going to full in the same that DB is for being a bandwagon destination. How is this anything other than an attempt at derision. It’s fine if it is but don’t play so innocent.

No, what that passage says is that DB is being ripped for increasing their population, and TC isn’t despite being full. DB is not (at least not that I’ve seen) but we’re the ones getting pooped on for some reason.

Pointing out a double standard should not be taken as an insult to the server, it should be taken as a smack on the nose to forum warriors. It just seems a little silly to me to mock DB for its population/turnout increase when it still has less than TC. I mean hell, TC is full right now and it’s 2pm EST on a weekday.

1) TC has often been FULL for the past 8 months – our Population Status rarely has anything to do with our WvW turn-out. Posting about it like it does just makes you look silly.

2) Most everybody I’ve talked to on TC has great respect for the original Dragonbrand Guilds and Players. The reason you are “feeling the heat” is because of how Rawnoodles has been going about his “campaign” to turn DB into his own personal T1 fiefdom. It took less than a week for him to post on these forums that he was an “Official Representative” of DB and he and [RE] at the very least are self-admittedly out there looking to “buy” Guilds.

Maybe [CO] wasn’t any part of that (most likely I’d guess) but you are getting lumped in with the dross just based on the timing of your switch and your attempts to defend something that is in fact happening.

I don’t know if Rawnoodles claimed to be a official rep for Dragonbrand or not, but [RE] as a guild is part of Dragonbrand now, they have every right to represent Dragonbrand and if they claim to be something they aren’t then that’s the servers problem.

I didn’t mind the IOJ Oceanics going to FA, the CD SEA crew to TC, the NA groups going to DB. But when you stack onto an already dominant timeslot, it kinda hints that you want to
1. help push a server to another bracket

2. don’t want to be challenged and become stronger.

They’re not already? TC probably fields about 50 people total during much of the SEA timeslot, and by the look of it, FA is fielding less than that.

If PvDooring undefended structures down day after day isn’t already boring….I don’t know what is. DBs SEA coverage is kinda amazing.

But yes, DB’s NA/Oceanic coverage is lacking. Not gonna hurt anything to bolster yourselves there.

Where the hell did such a remark come from? I mean Yes DB has a superior count during SEA times but doesn’t mag have superior numbers during NA? inferior in skills? where does that apply? Whoever has the bigger numbers (by a decent margin) will be offensive while the other is defensive.

And no intelligent commander will throw their inferior sized zerg towards a superior one, hence they retreat. Smart move isn’t it? Or is it somehow “cowardly” to retreat and save your zerg?

Every week the losing server will find any excuse possible to subject to their margin or tiny difference in score. Who ever we are that is trying to convince another server otherwise isn’t making any progress.

I believe they decided to take a break towards the end of the match, rather than afterward. That’s part of the reason why our score dropped off during the last couple of days. Honestly, if anyone needs a little break.. now’s a good time. We’ll need everyone well-rested if we intend to win our next match in tier 4.

Dragonbrand’s NA crew is getting stronger each day, so if BP and DH don’t double-team us consistently then this match is already decided. You guys almost beat us once before! Don’t even think about giving up.

DB isn’t strong, DB has a night zerg, that’s it. That’s all it ever is. Maybe they’re night zerg is strong, but otherwise, you’re fairly average.

Also, other things that make you appear stronger, is DH losing large guilds, DH tired of waking up in the morning and not having our fully upgraded keep because of a Night Zerg.

So we don’t need posts blowing smoke up our kittens and saying ‘nice fights’ and ‘lets have fun’ when everyone knows every morning the wvw will be starting out with anything but fun.

Dragonbrand has 2 speedhackers that I have seen, and I am not going to make accusations unless I am sure.

This obviously does not mean the entire server hacks. That is kittenderp if anyone thinks that. But there are QUITE A FEW glitching/exploiting/speedhacking+ players on Dragonbrand that we have not seen the likes of in our past matches.

I don’t see that as an insult. Bp is the “new comer” to our tier and shouldn’t feel insulted to be compare to the former leader or enchanted version of DH. DH has been great competition and great rivals in this tier for us in DB.

Which is causing another big DH guild to leave. Maybe once DH gets pummeled over night by oceanic zergs and enough people leave for a few more weeks, DH can become competitive again, even if it’s against other outmanned servers.

Some of the BP here is getting a little too arrogant. From the looks of the competition so far and the events that is going on with both bp and db, This is exactly where BP and Db should be in terms of the tiers. I completely understand the strong morale and pride from BP because of the non stop kitten kicking they might have dished out vs other servers but you guys will be playing with us for at least 2 weeks if not more. So just relax and have fun…it shouldn’t really stress or surprise anyone about the crazy flipping and capping that occurs. The points aren’t dead close but close enough to show that BP and DB at the least is of the same tier.

I’m serious, there’s really a “Few” bp who directly or indirectly looks down on the current fight with Db and Dh.

Theres only 1 person on BP who has been hacking. He transfered over from Anvil rock last week and is in the guild CRFT or was. We have sent many reports/screenshots and even a video of this player doing so. It’s up to Anet to do their part now as we did ours. If you see any1 else using exploits or hacks please post it on the forums and we will report it as well. Dont judge BP as a server for the actions of a few tools.

You guys don’t know what you’re in for. From what I see atm Bp isn’t pulling ahead enough to make up for the score db can easily gain during oceanic times. Weekdays are even crazier here on db.

When we lost to dh 2 weeks ago, they pulled ahead of us enough to keep us at 2nd and 3rd place. So our oceanic couldn’t make up the point difference tho it was close.

im just saying bp is the raising star, but its not like db or dh is a cake walk either

Dh knows this already but as you can see, the lead bp gain during their prime was easily gained back by db. Which isn’t even the scary part….weekday oceanic times give db a even bigger edge lol.

Last time I checked, “quarter to eight” was about 45 minutes after “7 am in the morning.” Furthermore, no one ever complained about NSP’s morning presence. That’s the only time NSP can manage to pick points back up. Judging from the progress, and the fact that there’s actually DH players in one of your screenshots, I’m going to go out on a limb and guess you’re PST, which would make those screens from just before 11am EST and after noon EST, which are hardly “overnight” times.

It’s not as “pvd” for DB as some are thinking. There is surely some type of resistance and sometimes its less sometimes its more.

Btw I live in california, I am on at that time because I am a college Junior with night classes. Being up early in the morning is much better than playing 3 hours before class while Dh just zergs everything

When they lose they complain about something new every time, nsp actually were suppose to be the more respectful ones. LOL just because the zerg present is incapable to capture anything does not mean they’re not there. Either the zerg on the move that time lacks a commander or is a failed oversize pug. Get your facts straight just because they ain’t capping doesn’t mean they’re not there. Maybe you should actually show up and help them instead of glaring at the Wvw map hoping some changes.

I don’t get it. DH says DB is a PvDoor server because we have people at night. But in the morning they PvDoor and it’s okay? I was just on DB BL now, and they rolled into our upgraded garrison with about 30 people and a golem against our 4. We lost an upgraded keep in < 3 minutes due to numbers. I just don’t understand how either that’s not PvDoor or that it is somehow okay because it’s during waking ours in EST.

We actually have to fight against NSP in our primetime. You guys have no resistance all night and cover the map.

What are you talking about…? There is always a Nsp or Dh zerg flipping towers…they just happen to have a small zerg than Na prime. I wanted to give you guys somesthing nice to stand on but you guys just can’t stop making excuses to make yourselves feel better for losing. Are you even awake at that time to actually represent these Dh night zergs?

I think this is base on opinion, well some of it. DH being “experienced”? there are smart zergs with commanders who avoided taking SM from nsp so they could spend most their time taking db towers during Prime. Then there are dumb DH zergs who runs in to SC with 3 minute buffs into a Db zerg just to get wipe and mainly killed/down by the vet.
Inexperience or experienced players/groups/zergs are gathered in all 3 servers.

DH has huge NA prime advantage so db players given up on fighting at that time, so they take everything in sight Or oceanic players are sleeping, ok PVD?
DB has huge oceanic prime advantage so dh players given up on fighting at that time, so they take everything in sight Or na prime players sleeping, ok PVD?
Nsp is the only server who rarely gets to pvd, they have a Na prime and a oceanic [2 hours later] prime but they’re smart enough to go after Db or Dh towers that are far enough away from Dh or Db, PVD occurs there too.

Pretty much all 3 servers have some type of pvd, inexperienced players, experienced players, etc etc, grass is always greener on the other side.
Db players will complain about Dh + nsp,
Dh players will complain about Db + nsp,
Nsp players will complain about Db + dh.
And ofc there are players who side with certain rival servers while disliking another.

Stop being disrespectful to all the hardwork all 3 servers dish out. It’s players like you flamers that actually make these things less respectful and less fun.

But then again I’m probably one of the worst affected by the oceanics since few people are on to help me defend the gear which usually falls to the most unbelievably unskilled players that I have honestly ever seen due to their sheer numbers.
Its seriously like fighting Russia. Little advanced weaponry but eventually you’re just going to run out of ammo.

Had fun tonight in EB lots of great battles and my final battle at Aldons was a blast. I got a portal bomb off twice to get rid of trebs and even though we took them out it wasn’t enough to stop DB. Great fights but I do need to bring up one issue.

Not going to point fingers because I couldn’t tell you who did this stuff and not going to chastise an entire server for what probably was a single person or group of people but this stuff needs to stop.

There was another two rams next to each other that I didn’t get a chance to takes picture of and a low level elementalist that would not stop moving in a bot like fashion from SM’s supply depot to the broken wall to repair it no matter how much I and everyone else asked her to stop in whispers and in normal chat. Lots of people wasting supply on Darkhaven on purpose and I don’t like it.

Yes i admit 2 portal bombs occured but we wiped every portal bomb of 15-20 people each lol All you guys did was give us free badges lol

BTW, last night’s clutch save by us (DB) at Hills on our borderland was great fun. They had the lord down but couldn’t quite cap before our reinforcements arrived. They (DH?) took down the outer wall and inner wall quickly with 3 catas before we could get help on the scene.

Ah even better. Didn’t see NSP there at all. Anyways I thought it was a great battle. It’s so much fun to run across the map, get there just in time to try and help make a difference.

Maybe it was a different battle. Was funny as hell though last night, we bunkered down at the southern camp and pissed everyone off for a while!

XD then we took hills after DH weakened it and we wiped them out of there.

Now that is how you double team.

[Db] Don’t look down on the night and day time team. We fought as hard as we can through so much resistance to keep our borderland. It isn’t that we’re not strong at that time ….its just that the offensive from both servers [nsp and dh] are overwhelming during those times.

A few commanders such as myself were actually on 8-14 hours that day fighting against overwhelming odds. Only to be rewarded with failed battles not because we’re incapable but we chose to fight even through we are outnumbered.
