You sir, are a madman.
That’s just the voice of jealousy because I thought of it first
So it is wrong to complain that a lot of new content being released, as far as equipment, skins, etc, is the rng model? To the point where the GW2 client and website news update is “Important new items in gemstore”? Ok brah
If it was complaining that the content is being delivered RNG, no problem, complain all you want.
But if it is: I bought bla bla bla and didn’t get what I want, they’re crooks… then you’re the one being silly. You know that the content is RNG, and that there’s no guarantee of getting anything at all. So coming here to complain afterwards and acting as if this is all Anet’s fault seems stupid to me, “Brah”
I’ve read several people here who are complaining: Anet needs to stop this lottery, Anet isn’t fair, Anet…
While it is YOU spending the money on these frigging chests… if you don’t like the system, stop pouring money and/or gold in it?
Or is that a too-easy solution?
Well, maybe with conventional breeding methods. But we both know that when an Asura sets his or her mind on something, impossible is just another word to say: it will take longer than the standard week…
Vat-grown Asura-skritt. Coming to a Krewe near you!
I finally get it, the Charr isn’t getting our insults, that’s the problem
Let me translate to Charr for you:
Stoopid kitty, go play with ball
Idiot kitty, your logic smells like fresh dog kitten
ow he’ll get it
Stop right there, before we have crossbreed Askritta who grow even more smart when put together… so become so dumb that the world gets blown up in a shout of “For the shinies”
edit: typo
So, how much did you have to pay someone to write this material for you, OP?
Well, you’ll have to get out of your machines to eat sometimes.XD
Silly Bookah, everyone knows that we can easily install the Foodprep3000.1 which processes and prepares external foods and feeds the inner Asura.
Everything is possible… if an Asura wants it
Vote for Kiel, I agree. After all, why would we be interested in “Human” gods? Those silly beings probably don’t even come close to the power output of a decent reactor…
But the Azura have already been decimated, by the Asura. We knew those evil geniuses were up to no good, so we did the lesse… euhm other, yes other races a pleasure.
Now, have a drink? It’s real good
Those are personal reasons. Let me explain it like this:
While I don’t care irl why someone entered politics, I do want to know what their plans are for the future. Are they planning on putting money in education, commerce, bureaucracy, etc. Those points are important (for me, and so for my character) when i decide who I’ll support
I know, I know. My point of the thread being that we don’t know anything about their politics or reasons why we should vote for them, except for the promised research.
But I realize I’m taking this too far probably.
I was asking for non-real life reasons to vote for one or the other, from my characters point of view.
While I don’t like RNG, my asura is kinda meh about it. She’s never bought one of Evon’s idiot traps, and she never will. But people have the choice to spend their money any way they want, according to her. But she would like to know what the candidates plans are for the future of LA, and Tyria.
As I said before, sille roleplaying me lol
And why is Evon RNG? I know the community as a whole seems to think so, since we buy gems through the BLTC, and keys, and boxes. But isn’t that just an easy “real-life” way of combining AH, and ingame store?
I mean, I’ve never seen Evon say ingame: “Arr, I luurve these lottery boxes, I love selling them to you idiots”
Just my two cents of course
I have to admit that GW2 is one of the first MMO’s which made me want to explore the lore and history. In previous MMO’s, the world just seemed too static to be really interesting. Here, I have to admit that when the PS changed focus from race politics to ED stuff, I still wanted to know what happened in my race’s hometown.
So in that way, I guess I got sucked into the world a bit more, which led to my question stated above.
Because the world is pretty layered and deep, and my friends and me have actually said that the world would be perfect for a tabletop RPG
It was just something I was curious about, tbh. I’m aware that it’s a videogame, but generally candidates for a position of power have a bit more background than “I is giving you free and new stuff”.
Silly roleplaying me, I know
While I’ve been reading these forums, it seems that nearly every Kiel/Evon discussion is about which fractal we’ll get with election, and the temporary bonuses added (I can understand these things), what my character wants to really know is: what do they intend to do in Lion’s Arch, and what policy types can we expect from either candidate?
I mean, the research is all good and well, but what about trade?
What about housing policies in LA?
What would they invest in?
Those issues seem more interesting to my characters than the whole goodies part
As I said, we’ll give it a try with the group… we’re not really in there for the skins or rewards, just for being able to threeman it. Although a dungeon master achievement is on my want list
Hey Bau Bau,
Thanks for your reply. We tried AC once before, we got the spider killed without trouble (second try, and the first time we do a boss we presume we’re gonna wipe anyway, it gives you a good feel for the encounter), got the second boss down to 20%, then wiped and wiped and wiped since his adds seemed to stay there after a wipe.
We tried SE next (the path where you free the workers), managed to get to the last boss but the 5 mining suits before him were too much. We did get two randoms to finish it, so no worries there.
We’re in Europe, otherwise we’d be glad to have you along
But we’ll check HoTW with the three of us, and see if it’s manageable
Hey everyone,
My guild and me just finished running all story modes with three to four people (rl friends), and now we want to move on to explorables. What is the best place to start?
We can easily find the extra people probably, but just to learn the paths we’ve found that there’s less hassle and complaining if it’s just the three or four of us. We don’t mind wiping a time or three/four/five to learn mechanics.
Thanks!
Body size is antiproportional to intelligence
If this were indeed the case, a progeny’s intelligence would be as inflated as their overblown ego’s, and they would grow dumber as they grew larger. A wealth of observational data to the contrary shows that the first postulate is false in all but the most exceptional of subjects, and the ones who fall prey to the second tend to have suffered a severe cranial injury at some point.
Asura are optimally sized. The inferior races are far too large and are cumbersome because of it.
Optimal size varies depending upon the task requiring completion. The obvious solution to this problem is not to change ones inherent size, but to find a way to allow one to change their size at will.
There’s few strategies more effective than hamstringing your opponent.
Quite. A small size also presents a smaller target, which is helpful when trying to preserve your structural integrity.
Don’t we grow smaller as we grow older and smarter? Maybe we are looking at this in the wrong causality, and we should maybe enter certain vectors in the formula?
Have you ever had a cat? They wash themselves quite thoroughly
You know, just killing all the Bookahs won’t solve all our problems… Better to have them serve us, and keep their spirit crushed. Since their intelligence is just enough to make themselves understood, they can serve as input modules, all I need to find out is a good voicebox to code interface…
