Yeah, I’m on hiatus untill HoT, or potentially done with the game for good. CREW rallies about 4-5PM AEST which is during the PST timezone. Other than that its basically dead in OCX for FA. I’m not sure about SEA or EU since I didn’t play those timezones.

Before trying to create a Fights tier. We will be testing out to see if there is enough fights to go around and see if it is worth creating. The OCX & SEA guilds have decided on a day next week to go into EOTM and have a OCX/SEA fights night. We will organise more nights as we go on if that works well. Yeah T4 is really balanced and very fun right now on most wvw aspect. If you guys wanna get into T4 just be sure to spread evenly. I know for sure that NSP as very little if none OCX/Sea.

If everything goes to plan we plan to spread out and not PPT. We want fights, we also don’t want NA constantly hassling us to PPT lol. Don’t worry we aren’t like this stupid tier 1 alliance we won’t wreck your tier like they did tier 2. The tier we are moving to is still undecided. Remember we wan’t to keep that tier stable, so we want to create the least amount of impact possible when moving. Don’t necessarily think an OCX/SEA “fights tier” is a good idea, especially recruitment wise, but open to hear what you put forward.

Also EOTM scrimming gets annoying, fast.. (kitten interruptions: the cannons and certain EOTM commanders..), but what else can you do.

You can only fight the same map queue everyday for so long. If we were at all interested in zergbusting we would have transferred to T1 along time ago.

Just want to point out since T1 and 2 are full the only place you will be able to recruit the new players HoT will bring are on lower tiers.

I’ll say this all one last time. It is not just me or my guild that wants this to happen. It is multiple guilds on several servers. All we are doing is getting all the guilds together to have a meeting and discuss it again nothing is set in stone. So why don’t you all chill the kitten out and stop stressing. It isn’t just about GvG’s either its about open field as well. I thought it would be a good idea to try and give this a shot, so I’m trying to organize it and get an idea of where everyone else in OCX/SEA’s heads are at. If it doesn’t happen no big deal.

There’s been a ton of T1/2 scrimms btw Ahma, Tfv, LATE, Afk over the last 2 wks.

If anything take the opportunity to exchange contacts and set up scrimms there, heck we can even stack maps and force the ktrains off.

Sure it’s inconvenient, but is it as inconvenient as getting literally HUNDREDS of people to invest far more time and real money to do something we can ALREADY do in Eotm?

Like i said, if you want to organize fights, it’s ALREADY possible cross tier RIGHT NOW.

Go to where the population currently is, that’s T1/2, those 2 tiers are also most likely to be “stable” over the long term.

Or commit ritual suicide and kill your guild down in T4/5, and lock yourselves out of T1/2 at your own risk, cos you know xferring is SO HEALTHY for a guild, ask a number of recent T1 xfers into YB and then onto CD, and that’s in NA – the most populated TZ.

Imagine the “fun” in ocx/sea where it’s desolate in the lower tiers.

That’s a good point and I certainly hope its true otherwise we would lose a lot of the best players in the game if they all stopped wvwing completely.

My last point is what happens if we commit to it and it fails. All the remaining servers that would still have ocx are full. So we could potentially get stuck in a low tier server without the ability to move back.

The plan seems to be:

1. Spread a few OCX guilds out over a dead tier with no prospect of recruitment
2. Have no dialogue, influence or connections with SEA
3. Wait for profit

All based on the hope that someone remembers seeing your old guild tag occasionally on BG that one time.

First of all it wouldn’t be a few OCX guilds it would have to be majority of the OCX/SEA guilds wanting to move. Please read the quote below that may fix the recruitment issue or we will find another way to solve that problem.

Actually that wouldn’t be too hard. A lot of servers have OCX players on them but they are completely unorganized and without a tag they just log off or go PvP or something. Give them a guild and some winnable fights and people will start popping out of the woodwork.

The thing is it’s getting stale fighting the tier 2 OCX guilds I’d like to fight the tier 1 guilds too and vice versa. So a tier lower where we could all transfer too if enough people want it would be great. FA is bleeding guilds pretty hard so if they drop to tier 3 and kitten with the stability there. There will be a big kitten storm coming lol with all the tier 3 people not being happy chappies. Yeah I don’t think we plan to ppt either otherwise we will never get that stable tier that we deserve.

I’m not sure if there would be enough guilds to spread out on 6 servers. Will found out come the first OCX/SEA meeting. The HYPE boys. Anet should just give us 3 OCX servers to fix this mess

While I think such a move is admirable you’d be taking the current small Ocx population and making it smaller.

SoS/IoJ has always had the biggest pool of Ocx, many moving to tier 1 for fights. Asking people to move again will just make that small population even smaller. Unless you can somehow guarantee a steady stream of Ocx to your fights servers (x3 assuming).

The move will only be going ahead if enough guilds agree to move. it wont be making it any smaller that way if enough guilds decide to move. Its just a meeting to see where everyone is at and then go from there.

To do with Blob guilds that will be discussed in the meeting. IF we do decide to move we can agree on perhaps some sort of guidelines so that we don’t just have one guild blobbing down everyone else. If you don’t want to move I would still recommend that you come listen in on the meeting. As you may change your mind after we have finished. GW2 OCX/SEA WvW Meeting

Hello fellow OCX and SEA WvW Guilds, some of you may of heard of me before.
If you haven’t I’m Muntedface Guild Leader and Main driver of [ER].
After speaking to a couple of OCX guilds we are considering potentially moving to a lower tier to start something along the lines of an OCX Fights Tier.
We will be having a meeting about it to discuss and organise what to do. We are sick of the current state of our timezone and we want a change.
All OCX and SEA WvW guilds are welcome to join us in this discussion if you are interested.

Goals
Embers Rising strives to achieve two goals. The first goal is to build a strong core for our open field and GvG roster. The second goal is to strengthen FA’s WvW Oceanic timezone. We plan to strengthen FA’s WvW Oceanic timezone by hosting public rallies, teaching people how to WvW (positioning, builds, classes and comps), training pugmanders and just by being a strong force in OCX.

4. Repping [ER] is required when we raid. You are welcome to rep any other guild before and after raid has ended.
