Wait,so if he/she uses that “clicking” trick and it makes abilities miss that often,then wouldn’t that be abusing a glitch of some kind?

I’m pretty sure you shouldn’t be able to dodge attacks by doing whatever he’s doing,that really doesn’t seem right.

Temple World Buffs

I think Melandru should be toughness and something else(not movement speed,that doesn’t really fit with a nature and earth goddess),and Balthazar should be power and crit damage.
It would be slightly more thematic than having Balthazar give toughness,although for the sake of him being the patron god of warriors it could make sense.

Either way,this would be awesome for the game,and with a bit of tweaking might give a nice bit of more hardcore content:
Perhaps the longer a temple is held,the higher the buffs become (to a cap of course) but the harder the events for defending it become as well,until it’s taken and it resets?
So what would happen is that the events would become so hard that organized guilds would need to use strategy just to hold the temples,with random players standing no chance unless they coordinate (with new mechanics and AI for the mobs of course,not simply as they are now with stat bonuses but specific mechanics,special attacks that need to be reacted to as a group,even players dedicated just to removing conditions on the group,etc).

This would be spectacular,yes please!

DPS thieves and elementalists can easily take a spot or 2 without lowering the party dps at all. Go look at DPS ele builds and DPS thief w/Sbow + warrior Lbow F1. Also three warriors brings 9 might, you might want to check your math on 3×3 again.

Warriors having the highest survivability… that’s a joke right? Ignoring the fact that necros have the highest health pool in the game, have you seen what you can do with rangers, guardians, and d/d eles? Warriors do have low survivability compared to the other classes, you’re getting caught up on hp and armor values which mean nothing in a sustained fight.

It’s no joke in PVE. It’s not just the health pool in PVE armor class actually matters. The better the armor the better the defense.

I do believe you are mixing PVP and PVE because in PVE they run thru everything like a truck. That’s not normal or typical of how the other classes play.

Protection – 33% damage reduction, not available in a warrior’s skill set.
Chill – Skill cooldowns increased 66%, not available in a warrior’s skill set.
Blind – Next attack misses, only 1 skill in a warrior’s set, on the longbow.
POOF armor difference more than gone.

And that’s not even considering comparisons with how other classes can handle conditions (which ignore armor) or their relative healing capabilities at the same healing power or their comparable invuln/blocks.

Protection, I’ll give you.

The other two don’t matter in PvE.

Making an attack (including massive 1-shot KO boss attacks) not do anything or slowing down enemies massively so they can be easily controlled and dealt with doesn’t matter in PvE?

I say no nerfs to anything,rather it would be better to buff some of the weaker classes for PvE,so that warriors aren’t the be-all-end-all for PvE and so other classes can be used without gimping the damage output of the group.
It would be nice to have necros or engis fulfill the massive damage role in a group,but in their current state they can’t do that as effectively and when they can do that they have less survivability anyways.

Nightmare Weapons - Take Out the Magenta

I kinda like the glowy magenta bit,it seems to add to the sort of corrupted,magical theme of the Nightmare Court and makes it look less like some plants just grew around a sword and more like some evil,dark magic is attached to the weapons.

Those color shifts you made look really nice though,maybe they could a second set of identical nightmare weapons that are bought the same,have the same stats,etc,but just look like that instead of the glowy purple bits.Being able to choose whether you want glowy or not is the best option in this case.

If I’m not mistaken,anet announced somewhere that they plan to give 2h weapons two sigil slots at some point.
So don’t worry,you will have your two sigils of force on your full berserker min-max damage greatsword warrior eventually! :V

Perhaps in PVP it could move enemy player’s targets from nearby allies to you?
As in,if someone’s targeting your Mesmer buddy next to you and you pop the shout he is suddenly targeting and shooting at you for maybe a second or two before he can move his target back?
It would be an interesting way to slap the GUI fourth wall with a sledgehammer but not break it,although the fact that players don’t need a target to hit anything for most skills in this game might make this a problem considering they can just go into super pro ranged attacks mode and aim like it’s a third person shooter…

The problem with thieves is that stealth is completely broken on the side of the player being attacked.
Not only do they stay in stealth for ages and there is NO counter for that,at all,but when they come OUT of stealth they’re STILL untargetable and invisible for a whole second or more and then they stealth AGAIN before the game loads their model and their existence so I can target them so I literally can’t touch them.

I can’t AOE them because I only have two real AOEs that are any good and I don’t like using the longbow either,there is literally no counter for thieves as a warrior and the game lag isn’t helping either.

And people say warriors are OP.

AuldWolf,here’s the problem with your “argument”(hard to call it that cause you’re mostly saying your opinions to everyone and noone,as opposed to replying to other people’s statements with intelligent responses):

In-game and out of the game(books,developer word-of-god),Asura technology is explicitly described as being NOT deus ex machina at all.

If you spend some time doing some of the Asura-based hearts and events,you’ll find them describing their technology as just that – technology,just powered by magical energy of some sort that could be substituted with plasma or nuclear energy and wouldn’t be any different,really.
You’re not exactly looking at what “magic” means in this game’s world correctly.

My belief is that the real “big guns” that we see everywhere today were made VERY recently,not more than 60 years ago,and they were too busy using them on other things(the Brand,the Flame Legion) to bother with trying to crack the proverbial shell of Ebonhawke,if Ebonhawke was a giant egg with a shell made of thick reinforced stone that refused to crack after years of constant hitting-with-spoon.
