So I just for giggles did a little examination of some things not implemented in the game.. yet clearly are in some state of affairs still active in assets. And I came across this rather interesting little snippet…

Now, my curiousity piqued I tried to use the secret preview method but failed most miserably.

I am more than certain these skins could be transformed into an Outfit due to town clothes being no longer a thing. And would pay most handsomely for this to become one of self-same outfits. OR if you’re feeling really crazy an armor reskin replacement.

It’s really ironic, as a month or so after the season one content ended I bought the game. Was really looking forward to it too… and now Scarlet’s workshop and those special chests are all taunting me, begging to be opened….

Sylvari storyline – Water, Shield of the Moon, Act with Wisdom, Cycle of night, Dignity. Playing as an Elementalist. Definitely missing half or so on that dialog for storyline.

Back when I picked up this game over a year ago, I purchased the heroic edition at the time. I have the Rytlock in account, along with everything else that I got. However, it seems that this may have been before the account-wide wardrobe unlock. So lo and behold, I’ve more than once stumbled across a great looking ‘set’ using pieces from that.

I’m not really frustrated, but now that Heroic edition is no longer available I have no way to re-access these charges. Or the other two armor choices at that point in my Guild Wars 2 career.

Will these armor sets become available for purchase again? Or do I have to fill out a seperate bug request for each piece of armor? Just curious…

Oh, I already have all of Season Two. I just feel like I’m being punished by not being able to access previous content that definitely feels like a requirement for the Lore of the game.

I do understand that it would be a massive amount of work, don’t get me wrong. But if like any company with a reasonable team does, they back up data. Everything should still all be there, just saved in some backlog in case of emergencies.

And if I can’t get Season One.. at least let me have my bunny ears. So all the two+ year players will stop taunting me with them…

Given quite a few of us are paying a considerable amount of money for a game we already own, I can only think of one suggestion posted to me by a friend on how to sweeten the deal for us that don’t get the refund on the standard game.

How about you do some jury-rigging of Season 1 of Living World for a 5 to 10-man crew to be able to take on the Villain of All Villains in her Cataclysmic Rise to Power?

I bought my game sadly months after the end of Living World season 1, with that actually being my drive to -buy- the game. Only too late to realize that the archfiend voiced by one of my all-time favourite voice actresses was already cooling in a pool of her own chlorophyll.

I’ve been patiently waiting since then only to see this hope dashed and dashed and dashed again by other things coming up to play.

So here, after all my whining, is my jist. We obviously need something to sweeten the deal given we’re effectively dropping another game-price amount on a game we already have ‘forever’.

You should give those unable to having played it early the ability to do both seasons of Living World.

So that way new players won’t feel as… unenlightened as I was once I reached Season Two and was all ‘Who are these people and why are they calling me Boss?’

Just an idea.

I have a very big gripe, and its been my solitary gripe since I started playing last year. How come all us other people didn’t get a chance to play Living World season 1? You made it available to buy season 2, or if you were here (like I was) and were able to unlock it..

I just ponied up for Ultimate of Thorns, and I’d like to know when I can play the missing giant slice of story I am missing to lead up to Season 2 of Living world.

I don’t know if anybody else feels that its extremely disjointed to go straight from killing Zhaitan to randomly racing after people I don’t know doing things I have trouble understanding.

Yes, yes, I know I can go to the Wiki and read all the backstory. But where’s the fun in that when I could be Living it?

Now I understand within reason that they’d have to add a new slot to the game for it but…

I am rather sick and tired of seeing all these ‘naked’ folks running around in that hideous yellow set of knickers or a pair of boxers.

In Guild Wars 1 our ‘knickers’ were customizable.

You’d make more money than you would know what to do with if you integrated some sort of underthings layer.

So if people run around in the nude.. at least it won’t be horrific and poorly coloured.
