Still he won’t get a refund. It’s stupid to ask ANET refund the gems you bought, just because you decide to stop playing. By that way, i will ask blizzard to refund me all the sub money i payed them to play(5 years, ~600-700 euros) WoW because i stopped playing.
Hello everyone. I was trying to complete the “The Rescue” Personal Story quest on my Thief today. But after i save Quinn from Crusher Dan and during the escort from the town i got lag spikes and then disconnects. After the fist disconnect, i checked my internet connection but it was running smooth (listening music to youtube, facebook etc). Then i tried it two more times but i got the same disconnect errors again at the same phase. Is there any problem with this personal story quest? I’m sure my internet connection is fine i checked it everytime….
Hello. I want to know if anyone else have a problem with TP text when the Interface size is “Small”. On my pc, the text is almost unreadable…. Do i need to make any changes to the settings??? Or is it intended to be like that/not fixed yet?
I have made some attachments when i use the “Small” option for the IF size.
If they really want people to use it, I’d recommend they consider changing it into a pulsing aura with an on-cast self-heal. Something along the lines of…
Reduce cast time to 1.5 seconds with the removal of the channel. Maintain the 5 ticks over 2 seconds, but make it a PBAoE with a 600 unit radius. Reduce Healing power scaling to compensate for the lack of needing to channel the skill.
The pulse shouldn’t heal the Guardian, only allies.
Nice Idea! IMO they should make it like the Paladin’s (WoW) Holy Radiance (Pre 4.3 Patch for those who may remember).
Guys, if you already looted all the pieces, you can complete the living story without having them. I destroyed 2 of the pieces but i completed it without prob.
Hello everyone. As title says, i destroyed 2 of the components i need for the portal. What should i do now? Will i lose my living story progression now? Someone from my guild told me that there is 100% chance to drop, but i have killed the Twisted Champ twice, one in overflow and one in home server without any drop chance….
There currently is not and likely never will be an option to change race. This stems from the personal story. While people suggest reseting it, that is both harder than it sounds and would open up people to the ability to just constantly change race to reset the story an get the 1 time rewards for completing certain story pieces.
If you really want a different race, make a new character its not that hard or time consuming to get to level 80.
I ’m playing my lvl 80 Norn Guardian for 3-4 months. I have spent a lot of gold and laurels on this char (Laurels for amulets, lvled up to 4 disciplines, purchased 2 different armor sets and some skins, bought full bag slot expansion). Why should i “delete” this guardian and do all this again with a new character? As someone said above, what Anet prefer? Delete this char and create a new one or add the Race change feature and receive 20 hot euros from me?
Hello everyone, i would like to post a small addition ANet could add in the future. As we know there are some enounters like, the Jade Maw (fractals of the Mists), the Giganticus Lupicus (Arah), in which our UI “zoom” out far from the normal, so we can have a better view of the “encounter room”. I ask if Anet would like to add this option as a “general modification” at the General Options Tab. I don’t mean that the current zoom out is bad, but when a big fight starts in WvW, its not so easy to see what really happens because the whole screen is full of player nameplates. What do you think about increased camera distance????
P.S. I’m really sorry about my bad english, but its not my first language I will try to correct my mistakes in the near future
I just feel like in dungeons it’s non-supportive and I prefer to never have a healing Guardian in any of the current dungeons in my group.
Just three words: I don’t care.
I don’t care if you care anymore, there’s other people reading this thread and all my advice in it is for them at this point, gl with healing people in dungeons.

Well, guys wait a second. First of all, i just asked if Support Guardian with HP is viable in the game. And you told me that they are. I really appreciate some people stating that dps guardian with little support is more balanced etc BUT, i didn’t ask you what build i should play. I wanted to know if Support is good in dngs. Since it is, i prefer you to help me make a nice Build, but you started flaming each other. Please help me or you can leave this post. Thanks a lot.
As i stated before, i already have a lvl 80 warrior. IF i wanted to play an OP damage dealer, i was going to pick my warrior instead of guardian. But Guess what? I want to play a supportive role….

I would suggest for you to try the things you like in the comments above for yourself, and see whether they work for you and your allies. Math is good as a base, but in the end, you’ll have to enjoy playing your build, after all.

Well, i know full support is not the best for fast dungeons. But the main reason i decided to lvl my guardian was that. If i wanted to be a pure Damage dealer, i would still play my warrior. But as i said before, being support in grp does not mean i will do 0 dps. I will just do lower dps than decent, but i will provide my team with more powerful boons so they can fill the gap.
Also, where can i find cleric’s gear except crafting because i realized dungeon NPC’s don’t give Cleric’s armor.
I do hard dungeons switching in full berserkers on alot of fights and it causes no problems, the damage output is very good, focusing on support beyond traiting consecration cd/durations for some fights/switching in tankier gear for some situations just seems like unnecessarily wasted potential.. I love how all 5 players can maximize dps and make runs go fast, I think it’s something to aim for, alot of fights I can maximize my dps and everyone is just fine, my walls, shields of the avengers, stability, boons, protection, cc and might buffs are all functioning.
To each his own I just don’t like to see full support slow damage Guardians in my group, just makes me spend more time in that instance, in my experience it’s not necessary if everyone is playing right and dodging properly.
Also to say that full berserker is a waste of time sounds crazy to me, run more tests, lots of us guardians are surviving and supporting just fine wearing it and providing as much dps as possible, traits like unscathed defender and right handed mastery go a long way… either way even if it just added 1% damage its still worth it if you aren’t dying while wearing it.
Why should everyone in dngs use Full Dps berserks gear builds??? I know the faster you kill the boss the faster the dng will end, but again if i wanted to play a pure DPS char i would go for Warrior…. Oh i found the perfect solution. Lets remove all the Healing Power, Soldiers (tankish) items and attributes, and make all the proffessions being Pure High Damage Dealers…..
You’ll never be a true healer or tank really, so in my opinion going full support is just going to slow your group down unnecessarily (since you won’t do as much damage, thus boss fights take even longer). A balanced build is superior, enough that you can help the group out (it’s what guardians do) but still hit hard enough to matter on the damage end.
That’s not true. Guardians will never compare to any of the dps classes in dmg anyway so there’s no point in speccing for damage. Guards are useful for their boons and condition removal abilities as well as utility skills(reflection, retaliation, stability, regeneration etc.), not for their actual direct combat dmg.
The extra damage squeezed out with a full zerker spec (and I’ve tested it with a full zerker set) doesn’t outweigh the lost utility in support and survivability.
Nobody here is advocating running around in a full zerker set nor saying that a full dps guardian is the way to go.
I’d appreciate if you read what I said instead of try to put words in my mouth and argue those.
By full support what I meant was focusing on healing/tanking ONLY and ignoring damage entirely – this is a bad idea. A balanced build is where you really shine. As good a healer as you can possibly be, people will die if they make stupid mistakes nor can you “hold agro” – you will never prop up a party’s shortcomings in that fashion like you would in other games. You need to bring SOME damage to the table or you’re just as much a liability by extending boss fights.
Well, being in support spec does not mean that i will never dps on boss. Ofc i will but my dmg will be lower than decent dps.
Thank you very much Guys! I really appreciate your advice But i mostly like the Builds KensaiZen and Lalangamena said above!! This gear setup was on my mind since i start playing my guardian. Also DeathPanel is right. If the team wants high dps, why they should bother picking a Guardian? Warrior is uber for its high dps (100B :P). My first character was a warrior, i really liked the gameplay but i don’t know, i am born to Support the others Guardian is the best proffesion out there for max team support. I know the more DPS done to the boss is the better for your team, but with that logic Guardian’s gameplay will be useless in this game. Anyway, thanks alot guys!
Hello Everyone. I’m leveling my Guardian right now and i want to ask a question. IS Full Support Spec( Boon “Buffer”, Heal, abit “Tankish”) Guardian viable for Dungeons?? I really like the way guardian works with boon etc but i am not sure if it will work well. Also if it is, whats your opinion about Weapons etc?
These thing is not broken, the only broken is that Lupi spawns a grub near him and he intant Shadow Walking towards a player, eating the grub and making impossible to avoid the Empowered buff….
The last 2 days we experience a kind of bug with Lupicus in every path. The first one is the Grub bug. When lupi changes from phase 1 to phase 2, he spawned a grub near his feet, and almost 1 sec later he instant shadow walk to a party player, eating the grub b4 we even target it. Also, a lot of people told that he reset even if he gets attacked by someone. Four of our tries failed coz the boss reset, while one of us was next to him….. ANET Do something already….

Hello guys. Im started Gw2 before a month and i would like to join a nice guild for dungeons WvW and other events! I’m a lvl 80 human warrior on Desolation Server (Stated on title!) trying to find some new friends in GW2 and play together for fun!!
