Interesting fixes. The signet change for mesmer was a bug fix anyway, since its supposed to work in and out of combat.
These are just some constructive critisism.
- i think ur going down the wrong path with stealth being a boon. Ground targetable boon removal (such as null) would remove it but there is no guarentee that it would land, let alone remove the stealth skill 1st. Since null is a pulse per second, it would require the target to stay in it. Also, how would it work with skills that require a target (arcane thievery)? Unless the target can be targetable in stealth, its not a good change.
- I’m in agreeance with the other posters requarding quickness , making it only next skill would ruin it.
- Moa change would make it useless. Moa is used for control/cc, having heal + skills available still would make it crap. (pop stealth, endure pain etc. to negate it. Even though it can be dodged/LOS a better soloution would be to change duration to 6 seconds and cooldown to 120 seconds.
- P. warden is still useless if its standing still, it needs to move an attack as right now ppl just dodge it.
- i think necro/ ranger needs small buffs.
- Pistol whip change – thumbs up.
- Shortbow range stays at 900, but through traits make it 1200.
Nice thoughts tho. Yes, i play a mesmer, and i do tourn, spvp a d wvw.
- all tooltips updated and reflect actual numbers and cooldown times.
- hp bars enabled.
- all bugged abilities and traits fixed.
- daze shatter now stacks in duration.
- mind wrack shatter now makes all clones/illusions home into its target to do damage and gives the clones/illusions a 30% run increase when they do so.
- phantasmal haste changed to give them perma- swiftness instead of increased atk speed.
- scepter #2 ability changed to a phantasmal necromancer summon thats stacks bleeds at 900 range.
- scepter #3 ability animation sped up.
- pistol now added as a mh weapon, with a auto attack that stacks confusion, #2 blind shot on 12 sec cd, #3 phantasmal sniper (rifle as a weapon) does 1 shot, slow atk speed.
- phantasmal swordsman now spawns next to the casted foe, instead of next to the person that casted it.
- phantasmal warden now moves and attacks its target.
- ilusionary defender hp increased, and it now attacks from range.
- phantasmal mage dmg increased.
- arcane thievery can now be casted even if u dont have any conditions, and now properly steals all boons.
- mantras tweaked somehow.
All i can think of for now
Protip: There are 2 key abilities that would severly hurt ure chances of beating him.
Null field: (makes a glass shatter sound) removes boons from foes and conditions from allies. Pulses every second. U stood in this when he cast it close to himself.
Chaos storm (bubble with lightning strikes) – stack all the debuffs over time so long as u stay in it. U stood in this aswell.
Combine this with auto attack from staff – (winds of chaos – bounces between foes stacking conditions and boons to allies) and warlock phantasm (does damage based on how many conditions) and ure condition spec goes out the window.
Looks like just a mesmer running condition spec with scepter/pistol off hand. (didnt c him try to melee) staying out of his aoe, bringing ur own aoe and some condition removal should stomp him. Oh, and dont attack when he has chaos armour up (bubble) it works the same as chaos storm only works off attack against him.
You cant que with friends because then well get 8man premade squads that will wreck face and make hot join even worse. Im loving the system atm, because theres nothing worse than getting ure face stomped by 8 guys on vent and in a guild. Auto-balance has its annoyances but its there for good reasons.
Theres only 1 map with underwater stuff on it and hopefully theyll make it optional soon.
Instead of whinging about these classes, maybe give them a go ureself and try them out?
Its got a host of problems, we have a sticky of bugged abilities/traits/etc. for the mesmer class at the top of this forum.

Illusion Subsection – says “Reduces your shredding recharge rate by x%”, Im assuming thats supposed to be shattering skills. It also has the required affect but dusnt reflect the cooldown tooltip on the shatterer skills. (Supposed to be less that 15 seconds on Mind Wrack etc, dusent change.)
- Duelist’s Dicipline (IX in Dueling) – Says Pitol instead of Pistol.
- Should really add something saying that the weapon skill cooldowns dont stack with the -20% reduction in Illusion. Its often confusing picking both up only to dicover ure phantasm summon is only affected by 1 of them.
