I remember the days when Kaineng is the one using this tactic to get transfers. lol I miss the battle between Devona’s Rest, Kaineng and Ferguson’s Crossing.

Can you just return to [KAIN]? I hate in-game drama/politics but I guess that’s the price you pay for playing with real people. Forgive and forget that sort of thing.

For gear;

• as I said the Soldier’s set (Pow, Vit, Toughness) can only be found in AC making it the most popular dungeon for Guardians and Warrior (and bunker engineers) that wants to be tanky.
• CM, as far as I know, is the only place to get the Rampager’s set (Power, Precision and Condition Damage) and Apothecary’s set (Toughness, Condition Damage, Heealing Power).

AC, CM and TA (you can finish these naked) others? Yeah, you might want to get at least a set that is to your level. 8 gold can probably buy you a set of lvl 80 rares or lvl 70 exotics, for a gold or 2 a piece. When I first reached lvl 80 I crafted myself a rare set with the mats I collected leading up to it. (That is also an option )

• 8 gold doesn’t mean much in today’s economy. I suggest saving it for now and go for dungeon gear that will benefit your build. (Looks should be focused on AFTER you finished, but its your game so you can do what you want.) After getting that, after 24+ of a dungeon you’ll get a lot gold, you can now use that saved money to buy yourself some jewelry. You’ll need about 15ish gold for a full set of exotic jewelry and the guild backpack (the best backpiece that can be bought).
• The tons of mats you have will only be useful if those are for exotic recipes, and if you’re a crafter. (If your a master jeweler or knows a master jeweler and have all the mats for jewelry you wouldn’t need to buy them in the TP.) Other than that, you can sell them for more gold or hoard them, your choice.
• As I suggested before, with only 8 gold, buying armor isn’t really practical. Before looking for armor I suggest to try out different builds in the Mists and look for the one that suits you the best and collect your gear based on that. Plus, some dungeon gear has stats uniquely to them (Soldier set can only be found in AC, Rampager can only be found in CM and I believe Apothecary can also only be found in CM). So know the build you want before getting armor.
• I use my Flamethrower build in dungeons all the time because the dps against mobs are extremely high. However, now I’m bored with dungeons/PvE and now mostly play in WvW and after a lot of deaths I realized that the Flamethrower isn’t great against enemy players (they dodge :O), and with all the bugs, it ain’t working right. So, now I’m working on changing my build completely in favor of WvW.
• If you want exotic karma armor i suggest on going into a lot of karma trains and save up until you get more or less half a million karma. Unless your build can use different sets of armor.

PS. These are all suggestions based on my own experience. What you’re going to do now that you’ve reached the cap is up to you. This is your game after all. Have fun!

I wish they would make Engineers the only class that can choose between heavy and medium since they originally meant engineers to be heavy armored anyway (probably why we have so much close range attacks). (I don’t believe this would ever happen) I am wearing the complete Divinity Council set (the CM set) for my engineer. (b/c imo it makes me look like a futuristic agent and I use the Spectral Wave Modulator as my rifle)

I love playing broken classes. Makes it a real challenge to be strong (I’m still working on making them strong). That’s why I have 2 of them leveled to 80. Which broken class should I level next? O_o
Though I do believe that both the Necromancer and the Engineer should get priority on the next patch.
I play a pyro-spammer Engineer (good in dungeons/bad anywhere else) and a well-spamming support Necromancer (great in dungeons/decent in WvW/good in PvE).

I am currently suffering from GW2/WvW withdrawal. Internet still not back after 12 days. I am missing so much stuff. I have resorted into posting this into this thread just to get some GW2 WvW action. T_T (I’m extremely bored…) See you guys in a few days, hopefully I can get my internet back before DR moves up a tier. You guys have fun, too much hate can kill people.

I loved the personal and racial stories, the orders not too much but it’s playable, and Trahearne’s story is just sooo boring that I stopped playing the stories. Both of my 2 80s never completed the story because of Trahearne.

I stopped playing my personal story around this point. Loved my personal story all the way to Sierran's death then I heard that I can get pact weapons if I finish story so I continued playing it but when Trahearne got the sword and became the hero of MY story I immediately got bored and decided to just buy the Pact weapons in the TP.

I love your suggestions, I hope ANet Developers read what you wrote. I personally don’t like either the pistol (due to the clown theme) and the rifle (because it’s a sniper rifle and my Engineer’s shooting animation is a hip shot making it look ridiculous). I’m sure more legendary weapons will come out in the future so they should take your advice with the skins. Make it more legendary and less gimmicky. As of now, Greatswords are the only legendary worth getting IMO.

Only amateurs flame ram a wall. I took down the walls of every structure in Ferg’s BL by myself with my bare hands, ripping them apart one stone at a time.

Clearly, after awhile my actions could no longer go unnoticed so a Zerguson Ferg showed up to stop me. There must have been 150 of them composed solely of NoQQ, LARP, and ENVY but again they were no match for me as I choked each one of them to death with my bare hands (I do quite a bit of hand strengthening excercises as you can tell).

As the last one prepared for death he looked up into my eyes and asked “Who are you, how did you achieve such power” to which I could only reply, “I am the daggermentalmesmerthief, and I eat three square meals of cheese a day, you can not hope to stand against me.”

That was about it though, pretty boring day.

Me, missing out in all of this good stuff, wishes that my internet is already back online but it won’t be for another 4 day. T_T I guess I’ll be back next week. (I hope DR gets moved up, not that I hate but i just want to fight other people. It’s a “its me, not you” kind off thing :P plus I want to see how GoM or ET plays.) Ok, for now, I’m going to look for threads that explains why ANet wouldn’t give Engineers a grenade launcher/RPG as a legendary rifle. Firing a sniper rifle (The Predator) from my hip isn’t working well with me. You guys have fun!

There are now two consumables in the gem store that will let you do this!

I ended up using the one that allows you to remake your entire character model and loved it. I chose the bandana hairstyle with dark green coloring for my necromancer because it goes well with low level gear but as I progressed through the game I realized how ugly the bandana is and tried my best to hide it (using gear that covers the hair etc.).

Seems like my guild isn’t going to focus on WvWvW this week, I can’t blame them. I guess I’ll just work on getting my gear up and maybe work on my map completion or level a new toon (PvE yay! /s). You guys have fun.

I’ve never enjoyed WvWvW as much as I did in the last week. I hope this week would be better. Looking forward on more awesome battles!
