“In Guild Wars 2, your actions really matter and your choices have an impact on the world around you. Instead of static, boring quests in an unchanging world…”
Adnul Irongut is boring.
This was on my thief and I don’t recall which skill I used.
I tried to center the map on the location. (http://www.guildhead.com/map#z:7;c:18.28125,19.423828125)
Falling through the map is not a new issue, and perhaps what I found isn’t either.

I am a bit curious as to why the model isn’t removed though.
Seems to be a waste of polygons just have it down there.
When using a custom playlist for BossBattle the volume for the music is MUCH lower than other scenarios.
Ambient, NightTime, Battle, etc are all at an equal level of loudness.
Mind you I have normalized my songs since I use music from different albums so there is no issue with the specific songs in the BossBattle playlist.
If I don’t use a custom playlist I get the default music, which plays at a normal volume.
I can work around it by boosting the BossBattle songs and / or lowering the gain for all the other songs, but there’s a limit to how much you can increase the gain before distortion occurs.
The WvW lacks a good “commander interface”.
Buying an item that is supposed to signify an ability to do something well is wrong in the first place.
If you want to be good at anything, you have to practice.
I would like to see the whole commander system redesigned:
In WvW, clicking on a tower, or whatever can be captured/defended/etc, would bring up a small interface with several tactical options.
Clicking on either of these would issue an event which players could decide to join.
The aftermath of this event would then accumulate “commander experience” to the player that triggered the event. How this is calculated is of course debatable.
Now, this would of course generate a lot of spam if everyone started tons of “commander events”, so there would have to be some sort of “commander tryout” cap.
Perhaps this is where Badges or wxp would come in to play, or simply a voting system by the current players in WvW.
Then again, once you done some rounds in WvW, you tend to be able to sort out which commanders do a good job.
Also, commanders have different playstyles, so you might favor some over others.
Still, I don’t like the concept of buying “status”.
We have schools after all.
These events are just silly.
I am guessing this is more an issue with dynamic level adjustment rather than the HP of the encounter.
Either way, the events are over in a heartbeat and I’ve actually noticed players not being able to contribute (and get loot) since the event is over before they get a chance to tag it.
Being a developer, I love reading how people resolve these issues and what the fixes are.
I changed permissions > relogged > all good.
Working for me now. I changed some permissions on a rank, logged and now it’s working.
Hello,
Can you please try changing maps and then try to access your guild bank again?
Thanks!
Done.
No change.
- Can’t get emblem.
- Can’t access guild bank.
Guild: The Berserkir
Server: Whiteside Ridge
I have a “one man army” guild, so my character is the only member with all permissions.
After last patch I can’t access my guild bank or weapon/armor emblems.
Same problem!
What is going on?
It’s like I am not in a guild anymore except I can access the guild menu, that’s it.
Guild emblem gone, guild bank (WITH STASH IN IT)…
This is frustrating…
I am unable to buy guild weapons/armor even though my rank is allowed to show the guild emblem.
The vendor says I don’t have permission.
The lack of management is why I haven’t even started recruiting/announcing…
Sad really.
The game is called Guild Wars after all.
In addition to achievements, I would like to be able to choose Guild Rank which would display the guild rank for guild I am representing.
The sticky post regarding this sub-forum says that this is a temporary solution to suggestions, but someone should really be moderating this sub-forum better.
There’s a goldmine of FREE improvements here which surely will increase the overall quality of Guild Wars 2.
So before a new system is implemented, there really needs to be a policy for how suggestions are posted and moderation has to be to effective.
Feedback from consumers is what makes a product better.
Suggestions should be broken down/categorized.
Solved by more subforums perhaps?
Keep the topic title clear
The title should describe the entire suggestion as plainly as possible.
Use the body text to elaborate.
One post, one suggestion.
This makes it easier to maintain and people can reply to the topic without specifying which part of the topic they wish to elaborate on.
Finally, I would gladly help on moderating the suggestions forum.
The daily chest + guesting issue must be something overlooked by the devs due to the fact that it was partly implemented to encourage exploring other parts of the game.
I hope they realize it is not working as intended.
It would be nice to have some kind of indicator in the UI if you all ready done a daily chest.
Like an icon on the top menu, above the health or next to the event log.
See attached.
If you need a silent mp3 to initiate the randomizer:
http://www.xamuel.com/blank-mp3s/
It gets lonely at times, and events are everywhere.
A realm/global chat with a limit of one message per 15/30 minutes would be awesome.
The time limit is there to prevent spam.
There could also be a character limit so bots would have a hard time abusing it.
The purpose of this chat would be to inform the realm of events so you’d only need a few characters.
“Jormag up!”
“Megadestroyer!”
“Join us for dungeon X!”
etc.
I’m was thinking more about adding achievements, not fundamentally changing them.
I would like to see some kind of daily achievement based on the character is all.
It would be perfectly fine if it was a completely new achievement and didn’t add to the monthly achievement. Maybe it could be as simple as choosing karma or guild influence as a reward.
I’d like to see the daily achievement per character instead of the account.
Now I can do parts of the daily achievement on my level 10 warrior and continue on my lvl 39 thief.
It doesn’t really make sense to me that the daily achievement is a combined effort amongs your characters.
The monthly achievement is another story, but not the daily.
