If I am reading this correctly, what you describing is not a bug…. IE.. if you use “Elite Skill #3” and while it’s on cool down try to switch to “Elite Skill #1” — It will animate like you swapped skills but it doesn’t because the Elite Skill Slot itself is still cooling down.

I’ve always seen specific utility skill slots not allow swapping while the slot is cooling down regardless of the ability in it.

That being said, if I’m mis-reading this, allow me to apologies now.

if you click on the “hints” icon (the ?) it will show one of them not at 100% — for me it’s trebuchets in PVP that’s not finished. i’m at 82/83 as well, but it’s clear which I need in the Hints Window.

I’m at 998/1000 on this achievement and my wife is at 970/1000 and we worked tonight to try and get credit for this and we got several combos, but not one of them gave any credit to the achievement.

Test 1: She used Lava Font, I used Bull Rush — Result: Damage to enemy and fire shield buff — no credit

Test 2: She used Lava Fon, I used Stomp — Result: Damage to enemy and might buff — no credit

Test 3: I used Bow with flame arrow (F1) and she used Arcane Burst — Result: Damage to enemies a might buff, but no credit.

I confirmed in combat long that the combo was the source of death a few times, we also heard the hero’s verbal boast when the buff would go off or the damage would happen.

I’m lost how to get the achievement to go up the last few points.

Came back three hours later and attempted again.. this time got screenshot with completion (got gold this time) and still no chest….

Apparently this character is bugged and wasn’t reset at 5pm PST (12am UTC).

Very disappointed.

I did Shatterer on Fort Aspenwood, first time in over 24hrs and I got silver contribution (2,031 XP) and I got no chest (see screenshot). Both of the other people in my group got the chest and one of them did Shatterer with me last night.

This is the second or third time this is happened, but the first time I knew for sure I had not done him since the reset at 12am UTC.

I’m loving GW2, but this is really frustrating that an event that has a 3 hour respawn not drop the chest…

Is there ANYTHING I can do? Or am I just out any loot I might have gotten?

If your playing over WIFI, try plugging a cord into your router and play via wired… WIFI (even wireless N) can be very unreliable. plugging a cord in and playing wired will give you a better idea of where the issue might lie.

If you don’t disconnect, then you know it’s something with the wifi*

If you do disconnect, you have shown it’s not wifi issue (everyone’s first go to) and you can look at modem or router.

• Last time my wifi was disconnecting me, it was because a neighbor bought a new phone that was on the same range as my wifi. Every time he got a phone call, my signal would reset. Doing anything other than gaming I wouldn’t notice, but gaming needed a consistent signal, so it was affected.

Solution turned out to be changing the broadcast channel on my wifi, but I found it by playing wired as a test

My wife was seeing this same thing. We fixed it by uninstalling and reinstalling the game. No idea what was causing it, but not one crash in 3 days since reinstalling on Sunday.

Might check his gold, silver, copper balance..

While it sounds obvious, my wife is famous for depositing her $$$ in the bank and then being confused when she can’t buy or sell items because the “sell” button or “buy” button is grey’ed out.

It seems to be anyone wearing some form of helmet. I’ve seen many cutscenes with Caithe or other NPCs that don’t wear head gear that look fine.. Zojja has the cool helmet she wears and shows up without it, and without any hair.

Asked this yesterday..

I checked in game, still 2,000 Gems (about 25$) for the upgrade to digital deluxe in-game. If it was on sale for like 400 or 500, I would probably do it in a heart beat.

FAQ didn’t cover questions about the 3 days sale. I previously purchased the Standard Version for 59.99, now the Digital Deluxe is on sale for 59.99.

Any chance there is a discounted “upgrade” from normal to deluxe? Currently the digital deluxe says “free upgrade” but I’m guessing that means if your buying the game brand new right now.
