bump.. how hard can this be? Idle/walking animations are already created for the monkey tonic, just swap them.
This recycle hammer holding aimation stinks for a staff…
+1 for the monkey tonic holding
Posted this on another relevant topic but I think I should post it here too..

Thanks for the reply KehxD,
I don’t think giving rangers a temporary damage buff it’s a problem, if they do it right. If they make a system where it knows how much damage your pet is doing depending your current traits, rangers won’t kill the pet to have the damage buff intentionally because they are not getting more damage from it, they are just trading the pet damage, that’s all, as soon as you have your CD ready for your pet, the buff would go off.
That’s my idea of it @ least…
I was thinking about this "solution today, I don’t play ranger but I got a friend who does and he almost stoped playing Gw2 atm cause of this, he, like most of the rangers like to play ranger, they don’t like to play other class’s/professions, and when the class seems broken, they quit the game which is sad.
Now, the primary issue to me, seems to be that pets die pretty fast, and when they do, ranger damage is reduced for 30%~ (I might be wrong here, can be 20% or so, correct me here) for the time it takes to revive the pets.
I have two possible solutions for this:
First one I think it was already posted before by other players, add a permanent buff to pets that reduce AOE damage for 90% like the skill “avoidance” in WoW.
My second solution for this is to add a temporary 30% (or the dmg % pets are doing in total) damage buff to rangers when their pet dies to compensate the loss in damage from the pet.

Hey Gaile,
Any news on my:
“319928 – We will be fulfilling your request very soon.”
It as been a week now.
i had this same problem in November and didn’t know about the ticket review thread, so i just posted today for help! glad to know i’m not alone in losing our cool gemstore skins!
I saw your post in the review thread, you say you followed a wiki recipe. The page with that recipe also states that the process creates an entirely new item and that skins will be lost in the process.
Not trying to be mean or anything but don’t get your hopes up to high.
Problem is that there are lots of other guides out there that tell you what you need to upgrade items in the forge.
In my case, it was a dulfy guide which I follow a lot, it was not the that wiki you guys saw/talking about.
Either way, anet should have that sort of warning ingame.

Indeed..
They should warn the players about this, you buy a skin then you loose it for an upgrade? Then they tell us “well, sorry but we can’t do nothing about this” makes me wonder what are they doing paying these GM’s anyway, everyday I see/read this, “sorry we can’t do this” or “we don’t have the tools to do that” better off not having them @ all.
They created the game, how the hell can’t they give an item back to the player? Makes no sense to me @ all.
This never happened to me in all my years in WoW, I deleted items, even deleted full characters and the support was always there in game helping the players, they always pull true to the costumers, maybe anet need to learn a few things with blizzard in that area.
Don’t take me wrong guys, love gw2 and I think it’s a much better game then WoW, it’s just in the support area, they suck big time.
Post your ticket number in the sticky on the front page of this forum, tickets up for review.
Thanks for the reply and tip SandraSolace.
Please I need some dev to review this, don’t know what to do anymore and I’m not willing to give up on this..
As I see it, this item was taken away from me by no mistake from my part whatsoever, it was lack of information to the user by the devs.
Here’s the original post with the GM’s chat:

Hello Marco,
Thanks for the update.
Infused items are otherwise identical to their non-infused counterparts. In this case, we understand you were not aware that by upgrading the Back Piece item, you would lose the skin it had. Unfortunately, we will not be able to replace the item or refund the gems.
If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us again.

Hello again,
Thank you for the quick reply this time.
Again, I must insist that this was not a transmutation, it was an
upgrade of an item in the forge that reverted my skin back to it’s
defaults without any sort of warning.
I’m feeling a bit “robbed” by all this, it’s not even the money from my
purchase, that item is not longer available, so now it’s gone, and it
was not my fault.
That sort of things should have some sort of warning message to the
players, that, when you upgrade and item in the forge with the infused
slot, you will loose your skin which was not the case.
Please try to understand my issue, don’t generalize it because it’s not
a “oh I deleted my item by mistake” or “I transmute the item by
mistake”. It was not my mistake @ all.
I just want my skin back, it was stolen d from me.

Hello Marco,
Thanks for the update.
We realize you lost the Rox’s Quiver Set during a Transmutation. As a general rule, we are not able to replace items, and that is true in the case of the item that you have requested.
While we understand that you would have preferred to receive a different response to your petition, we must reiterate that we are unable to fulfill your request.
Thank you for understanding. Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Hello Ego,
I see this happen everyday in the forums, you guys don’t read the
tickets properly and just copypast some text.. Please have a bit more
respect with your costumers, after all, we are the ones that pay your
salary. Please read my ticket with a bit more attention…
I don’t want a refund, I just want my skin back since I can’t purchase
it back from the store because is no longer available.
Please review this, I didn’t get a warning message saying that the my
skin was going to be destroyed in forge while I did my infused upgrade.

Hello Marco,
Purchases from the Gem Store are seldom refundable, and in this case we are not able to provide a refund of your purchase.
I am sorry that we could not fulfill you request in this situation, but please let us know if you have any other questions we can address.

Hello there,
I’ve just upgraded my back item in the forge for the infused slot and I just noticed that I lost my Rox’s Quiver skin in the process…
Can you give it back to me please? I had no idea that it would revert back to the default skin and no warning message was showed to avoid this at all…
You can check my purchase history, I bought the skin 3 maybe 4 months ago in that “special old items back” promotion.
Please advise,
Marco / Kui
Hey guys, first off I like to say gj with the game, having a blast.
I know it’s not important like other real problems with the game, just thought I needed to report this..
I’ve recently got to my 3k achievement points and I got my “hellfire vambraces skin” (wich I love btw) but I have a visual bug that it’s bugging me allot, whenever I go into stealth in my thief, I get this weird effect (think it’s caused by the smoke in the gloves or something)
You can see what I’m saying in the pictures below:
(edited by Kui.7245)
Its not a memory leak, its an Nvidia issue. Your FPS (generally when going between loading/2d screens and ingame 3d) will drop as your nvidia card sticks in 2d clock speeds.
Alt+Tab forces it back to 3d clock speeds. The only temporary fix ive found is in your global nvidia 3d settings, set “power management” to “Prefer maximum performance”, reboot, itll never happen again.
thanks for the reply Refraction, my game profiles are always in Max Power mode m8, and there’s no loading, when this happens, I just need to die, I get rez and the frames are in half, sometimes the low hp warning in the screen borders appears and I get half the frames.
(edited by Kui.7245)
I think there’s a memory leek of some sort in GW2, when I die, or that low red HP effect pops up on the edges of the screen, my fps drops to half and it stays like that till I alt tab to windows and then alt tab to game again.
Running the game in full screen @ 1080p on a:
i7 2600k OC@ 4.5ghz (temps around 60c in full load)
GTX690 (temps also around 60c full load)
Corsair AX1200w psu
Lower performance in zones after visiting Black Citadel.

Hello,
I would like to share my strange performance issues in Guild Wars 2 with you. Lately I’ve noticed that the performance is good when I just start playing (starting in a zone, not the Citadel). For example, I started exploring the zone Snowden Drifts and at first the performance was good, with the fps averaging between 50 and 70. After finishing a part of my personal story I returned to the Black Citadel and there I have a performance that averages between 20 and 25 frames per second, which is normal for my system. But after that I returned to the zone Snowden Drifts and to my surprise the performance stayed between 20 and 25 fps, in the exact same spots I had visited before. So it seems that once I visit the Black Citadel the fps stays low on my system, which is rather odd to say the least. After logging out in Snowden Drifts and starting the client again it returned to normal.
My system specifications are as follows:
Mainboard: MSI P7N SLI Platinum http://eu.msi.com/product/mb/P7N-SLI-Platinum---P7N-Zilent.html
CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 http://ark.intel.com/products/33924/Intel-Core2-Quad-Processor-Q9550-
I realize that this CPU is not amazing for today’s standards but up until now it has performed admirably.
Graphics card: MSI N560GTX-Ti Twin Frozr II (factory OC)
Graphics driver: NVIDIA latest official release, 306.24
Memory: 4 times 2048 MBytes, Kingston HyperX Dual Channel DDR2 (PC2-6400)
Again, not amazing but it should still do the job, for now.
The game is installed on an SSD drive, in this case: OCZ Vertex II 120 GB, S-ATA II / 300To conclude, I fully realize that my current system is very average for today’s standards, I don’t expect stellar performance from it within Guild Wars 2. But from what I’ve seen so far there’s also something wrong with the game. How else could I have great performance at first in a particular zone and then bad performance in the same zone after visiting the Black Citadel.
Thank you for your attention, I’m eager to see your responses.

Corsair AX1200w psu
To Cbuzz, yes, it’s using both GPU’s, even if it weren’t, one GTX690 gpu should be enough to play this game @ 60fps.
Same bad performance here…
Running the game with:
i7 2600k OC 4.5
GTX 690
16gigs RAM 1600mhz
