I’ve changed both my passwords to something totally different.

Also the email I received was in that phishing email thread. But the link didn’t have any .html or any dots for that matter. Only random numbers at the end.

I’ve recently done a few scans. Will install a second anti virus just to be sure.

They should also make a sticky thread, detailing all of their official sites, emails etc. So that you can refer to that thread if you’re unsure if the link is a phishing attempt or not. Because sometimes the link is so “real” that you could fall for it. I had another phishing attempt some time ago, but I was almost certain it was real, until I realized what was wrong. Won’t be posting further details to give those types of people ideas.

I’ve received a mail from Anet stating that an attempt was made to change my password and that I need to follow the link: https ://account .guildwars2 .com/reset (not the full link) if I did intend to change my email, but I did not.

So my question is, is it a legit site and which sites and emails are legit from GW2, Anet and NCsoft?

Also, if I didn’t try to change the password how is it possible that I received an email to change my password if I didn’t request one? I’ve received two emails so far within a few days.

I didn’t read all the kitten in these two pages. But what I have to say is – why don’t you add anything useful in this situation, rather than kittening.

What do you think, when there’s a patch released, almost everyone should just do what they normally do when there’s no patches released? Think before you write kitten on the forums and give constructive feedback.

I’m not exactly sure, where I should report an exploit. I’ve looked in-game, at “Support” and then “Exploitable Issue”. But like I said, not entirely sure where to report it. As it’s in-game exploit.

The matchup would have been a lot more fun if both BT and FoW didnt use huge blobs even for the slightest objective…Both of you seem to venture forth only when the odds are atleast 3:1 for you…even when in your own BLs…which is disappointing to a roamer/small scale player like me.

I’m not suggesting you should try to 5man SM…but 5 men flipping a sentry and a camp in your own BL should not require calling in half your WvW population in order to take it back. Its no fun for 30 ppl to try and tag 2-5 enemies and its no fun for 2-5 ppl to fight against 30 enemies. Both sides could be having more fun if zergs were used where zergs are actually needed.

The same 30 people can provide a greater service to their server if they split up in parties of 5 and hit multiple targets…like flipping all camps within 5 mins instead of being a huge blob and taking 20 mins to go around the whole map.

You don’t need to raise orange swords for 3 ppl….And you certainly don’t need to “accept” duels and then call in everyone to come and zerg the opposing side! [some FoW @ FoW BL a few hours ago – how cheap/sad is that? ]

Be more efficient (less zergy) and you will have more fun (and more scouts)…sure u will die a lot more in the beggining…but that will force you to fine tune your build and playing skills. Not to mention the fact that small scale will teach you why “u don’t need to be told to resupply…you just go and do it when the first opportunity arises.”, “weapons don’t deal damage to walls”, “you are better off guarding a ram than attacking the gate with your weapon”, “taking down cannons and oil takes priority over placing a ram” and other simple tactical details.

Ps. I’m not saying there are no roamers/ppl with class/skilled players out there from both BT / FoW just painting an overall picture from my experience so far. I’m sure there are plenty…but the bigger picture is more or less as i paint it.

Well, you should understand, we were in tier 9 for almost a year. Now that we’re finally out of it (for now, unless RNG plays against us) and we’re able to zerg a bit (which we were almost/most of the time, trampled). We know exactly how it feels. Don’t you worry about that.

But it’s definitely “cheap” of those people that “wanted to duel”. But you get kitten-bags on any server. But like I said in the top paragraph, we’re finally able to zerg. No matter how large the opponent.

Well you have a good point in dividing the zerg to recap. But sometimes it’s fun (for us) to run karma trains to every camp, tower etc.

But, as you might have seen – BT’s blog/zerg is far worse than ours. Even with that – this’ the best match-up we have had in months, points-wise as well.

I’m not sure if this has been suggested or if there’s such thread, as I’ve tried searching for one.

I’d like to suggest that PvE and WvW gets separate traits. In that way you’ll keep both the traits. The same as s/tPvP and PvE. Why can’t it be made the same? As WvW and s/tPvP involves PvPing. While you still keep your gear. That you don’t need to farm two set for PvE and WvW. Because it’s most likely the traits will change but not all classes’ gear will change.

Not that much to say at the moment. Since it’s quite straight forward.

Problems can occur. So spamming the forums like kittens, aren’t going to remedy the problem (whichever it may be).

So you guys think they’d intentionally say in the next “1 – 2 hours” just that they’ll be spiteful and make it in 4 hours? Should try and think further than your own nose.

Which should be sorted out, then we can be more of a challenge. But at the moment it’s still working (our “setup”) but we on FoW know what’s going on. But meh, hopefully it can change.

I can understand your point, but I do see the orange swords on the map. But then we barely even have any people on e.g. that keep or tower. Then what’s 2 – 5 people going to do against a 20+ group? Only using a few ac’s but they’ll still get in, regardless.

Funny how you say that you’re not working together, but in the same post you say “there was no BT on at the time”. So you DID know when they were on, so you may also know where they’ll hit next etc.

It seems you can “feel” or “see” my emotion over the internet, where ya hiding that genie lamp? You should rather read what the person is saying rather than how they’re saying it.

It’s just common sense if we, FoW and Vabbi, should team-up together to fight the third world coming into the equation. Seeing as we’re in this tier for months. Neither has one of us, gotten very close to defeating the other world. But anyhow, not like there will be anything like that anytime soon.

P.s – Like I said in my second post, I know exactly how you feel when you’ve gotten WvW completion, and I’m happy for them. But just the fact, that there’s a group in the night capping most of the borders, just doesn’t seem… (Someone else, or yourself can fill in that gap) Like one guy said in this thread – I guess they like hard doors, knocking it hard? And your “friends”, teaming up against us – which we aren’t even the dominating server.

Ahh but you see both of these numbers are true :P Yesterday LNA had a 5 man group, which is big for us. One of us decided to try SM where the 5 of us got both gates down with 1 ram on each one, at which point we called out in teamchat for people to come and help with lord. So really 5 of us did it but 8 people died to the FoW zerg

Guys I seriously don’t know why your moaning, we’ve done this before and honored the pact before it was broken, in a few weeks vabbi will be back to getting kicked in let people enjoy it, some people have been waiting months to get there completion and now they have a chance to get it

I am glad for the people to get their WvW completion done, since I’ve got mine, a few weeks ago as well. You didn’t see me and others make threads and comments like “Jesus christ we’re getting out completion, thank God and Allah and all the other Gods”.

Also thanks for pointing out the obvious, that this’ a game. But how you handle this whole situation, is what’s the problem. Not the fact that this’ a game. Which I enjoy, nevertheless, in WvW and PvE alike. So brag more, and post more absurd comments.

Well first off, I don’t know if Vabbi is kittening stupid or what and if they think capping keeps in the night is proving how “good” they can be (some do have a life, thank you very much). But the thing is, no one will get out of this tier if you’re playing like idiots.

Backstabbing us, everyday for the past week – do you really think anything “good” will come from it? There’ll be more focus on you than ever before. But seeing as more members are moving to Vabbi, for some kittened up unknown reason. a Few moved, which I couldn’t be more happy for. So we can grind them to the ground in WvW.

Also 2v1 is so much fun, right? Even though we’re not even the biggest server in this match-up, such logical thinking, intriguing.

So I’ve read about the new items in the gem store, but what caught my eye was this:

Especially eyeball’d the “find the keys to unlock them in the gem store” – does that mean, it’s only in the gem store available now, or it still drops from mobs (not that the drop rate is even high to get one or two of them) ?

But just reading the first line of the OP, has made me make this post. “They’ve just became viable” – viable as in kittening overpowered? Yup sure, viable indeed for the person playing one. The amount of damage the conditions is doing at the moment is simply kittened. Even with my Condi remove build I lost a massive amount of health in mere seconds.

That does not mean it’s balanced, it’s completely the other way around. And I play an Elementalist, with somewhat moderate amounts (as some may know) of abilities to remove conditions.

We’re complaining because just 3 weeks ago we beat the ever living snot outta both of you, and in fact we set the new server score record while doing it.

In the mean time we’ve been rolled over by far larger servers who gave us no quarter either, but we held our ground and gained server points each week. We played hard and deserve a whole lot more than being tossed into the trash can tier yet freaking again.

Anet should simply close Vabbi and FoW, or at least remove the 2 servers from the WvW rotation. You can’t beat anybody. You simply don’t have the population to be competitive and getting pulled down to the trash can tier is disrupting the game for your opponents. Last night a large number of RoF players rage quit the game when they saw the match up, which is why you didn’t do so bad, at least for a few hours.

So tell me, if you guys are so good. Why are you in a T9 matchup and even if this system wasn’t implemented you’d be in T7. Being confident and optimistic is way different than being arrogant people. You’ve also proven our point, as to why we lose a lot. It also shows that you indeed have no sportsmanship with your attitude towards others. Same could be said in real life situations.

Sometimes it’s fun to play with small groups and taking over stuff and defending e.g. a keep when you’re outnumbered and still succeed. But of course, it’s also not fun to lose weeks on end. And again, I come to the fact that your arrogance and sheer numbers, make it seem as if you’re superior to us. If the overall population that’re mostly in WvW most of the time in the week, was the same – then we might have a decent match.

Some RoF players here keep talking about “trash”…. well 95% of the RoF players I fought the last two days were beyond trash when it comes to skill. Well, it doesn’t seem there’s anything being done about our matter (FoW and Vabbi). Other than changing the match-up, which will help us nothing. In these last couple of months. There was no chance to even be able to “win”. Only ,once , we (FoW) were ahead in the WvW match-up for a couple of days, but was then annihilated (not even exaggerating) just before the week ended.

Like others said – this really isn’t fun. Others might enjoy their small fights (ya it can be fun at times), but losing non-stop just discourages most of the players doing WvW on FoW and Vabbi.

Nowadays, I only do WvW for the dailies then I’m done. No point in even trying if we’re being outnumbered. Even though we might’ve had a queue recently it doesn’t mean all the other borders does as well. And that’s also where some of the problems are at.

It probably won’t even matter who we go against, seeing as we’re the least populated servers. I’ll still be staying on the server (at this moment) to help out where possible.

Oh, why don’t they reduce the damage of backstab when attacking from behind in stealth. Funny how they won’t mind saying other classes are overpowered but their own abilities aren’t really balanced either.

I would like to know as well (I’m on FoW). I’ve noticed we had only ONE outpost and that was a mere camp… But we still didn’t have the “outmanned” buff. So not exactly sure if it’s even working as intended.

But I’ll add again – It’s not that everyone in the server is bad. Just that we get outmanned so much it ain’t possible to make a “stand”. Well, maybe on one outpost e.g. a keep or tower but in that time we try and defend the keep or tower. The other borderlands are already taken over. So that’s where this thread comes in. Imbalanced.

Well, first off I’m on Fissure of Woe. To all the people that’re giving negative comments such as “oh, we’re bad, so bad” etc – is just plain ignorant. Yes, there’s bad players. You can’t say there isn’t any in your servers, now can you?

The point of the thread is. Vabbi + Fissure of Woe are outnumbered by a couple of hundred. These two servers are on “medium” population. The others are on very high. I’m not sure of how much difference there is in number. But you can definitely see it in WvW.
So you’re saying the whole server is bad just because the other server outnumbers you 5 to 1, hell even 10 to 1. Which seems not that exaggerated.

Within the first hour when the restart occurred – they already had the whole place taken over… Now you’re telling me that we’re just plain bad? Go write such absurd kitten somewhere else.

Many people know that WvW is unbalanced at this moment, and always was. But something need to be done about it. If we can provide valid and decent suggestions. Which really could change the balance of WvW is at this very moment. Why not do so?

I haven’t really “played”, since this thread. I started to log it in a few minutes ago, just to find out that I got another critical error…

You’re speaking of BSOD’s and numerous crashes – like, SandraSolace said, it’s more than likely your hardware. I also have a problem with disconnects, but you won’t see me making such an absurd thread. But people like you should receive no help with such attitude.

I see all of the moderators etc, reply with a “smile”. But this would make some a bit… I won’t complete it.

But anyways, seeing as I’m decent enough. I’d say it’s GFX problems or hard drive. I’m not an expert. But neither do you provide any error messages or stuff the GW2 Team could work with.

I’ve recently received a lot more critical errors than before. So I decided on on making this thread, in an attempt to to find a solution.

I’ve attached a txt report from your “Game advisor” and a txt file regarding the error I received. Updated my GFX drivers and the others also seem up to date.

The first file is the “Game advisor” txt report and the second file is my game error txt.

First off, I’ve seen there’s a few threads that’s merely touching about the subject – guild permissions per rank.

At the moment, you cannot set the amount people may withdraw from the guild bank. You can, however, let no one be able to withdraw (only deposit). But then you have to ask the guild leader(s) for an item from the guild bank.

Why not make it, that for example you can set the amount of withdrawal a person can make per day. That way the guild leader(s) have more control over the guild bank. Because everyone know, there’s people that think nothing of others and will only “rob” the bank from items. Seeing as no permissions can be set, as in how many you can withdraw.

Sum-up:

• Guild leader(s) set permissions on how many items a person can withdraw in a day

• Guild leader(s) set permissions on how many gold a person can withdraw a day

The things you’ve mentioned that could be added to the leaderboards sounds good.

The first thing I’ve seen “missing” is the ability to search e.g. a certain person’s name. So it can be easier to spot some people in the list.

I’ve also seen, you can’t access the leaderboards if you don’t have the direct link. Since if you go to the Homepage and then go to “Community” (where the link suppose to be). It isn’t there. Here’s the example:

I have way too many different kinds of currency, and there’s no way to really show it all, or store it all, or have it look good ever.

What I would suggest is to simply remove most of them.

That’s exactly why I made this post. To suggest that there’s to many currencies and it should be put somewhere, and not into your bags.

It would be rather pointless to remove most of it. Because like one person above said – you’ll then just farm the easiest dungeon and/or path and get all your gear that way. It’s much better how it is now, just that the currencies should be moved to a tab for easy access to it and out of your bags.

Simply move all currencies (WvW Badges, Dungeon Tokens, Fractal Tokens) to to bottom of your inventory just like money, laurels and karma and stack via account not characters and we are good to go. This should have been in from the start.

Well, that’s what I was trying to suggest, but rather at the bottom of your bag. Put it into another tab. Which can give a larger space for he tokens and other currencies.

Rather being cropped up under your bags. Where the laurels, gold and gems are is fine, because there isn’t much to display, but if all the other currencies were to be added, it’ll just make it a little bit less organized.

Hopefully something could be done about this.
