When mobs run away and then come back when they are low hp isn’t a bug.
It is just a game mechanic.
A lot of mmo’s that I have played has this and to be honest it doesn’t bother me 1 bit

I dont think WP’s would make mounts pointless because you still need to walk to places iknow its not far but still it would make it faster

I think it would be really cool if GW2 had mounts.

I know there are way points to make your travel easier however nevertheless people running around on mounts or maybe even fighting on mounts would be a really cool addition to GW2. They can even make a big profit doing that because they could sell them in the Gem shop. I know i would certainly buy one!

So what you you people think about mounts in game?

I wanted to know what stats are needed for a guardian?

Do we need power, toughness, or vitality?

I personally think that we do not need to stack power because we are a defensive character and staking vitality and toughness would be much better for survivability and tanking? Maybe have power on the weap and stack toughness and vitality on the armor?

Ya neither of their weapons are very effective so idk about the guardians lack of range being an issue

but how important is range in PvE anyways? I mean warrior and guardian are not the kiting classes

Ye standing up and fighting champs isnt very smart and I doubt even a guardian will last without having to kite alot.

The thing that sways me a bit to warrior’s side is that guardians LACK ranged dps because not always are you going to be running into a fight meleeing.
However i LOVE the guardians survivability and ability to take damage.

soo when it comes to killing bosses and champions which would be more effective?

so warriors have the potential to kill alot faster while being abl to heal themselves too.
Guardians can absorb alot of damage but dont have that much dps

Since in GW2 you can pretty much use a variety of classes for PvP by just leveling them to lvl 2 and using them in Mist I wanted to ask some questions about PvE.

I wanted to know which would be the most effective and rewarding PvE class in the game?
By that I mean being able to take down veteran mobs, bosses and be able to be a real help in dungeons and groups. Also to be able to be an effective asset to your team and guild.
I would like a class that is rewarding to play in terms or PvE.

Can anybody help me out?

Im currently rolling a thief and i wanted to know how do they fair in terms of PvE?
Do they have a hard time killing veteran mobs, bosses and groups of mobs compared to other classes? Does it take alot of skill to take down bosses and how is their survivability?

Im asking this because thiefs are mostly a PvP class and I don’t know if they would be a good PvE class to level.

Any insight on this would be appreciated.

I mean constantly trying to catch up to people to get a hit isnt fun. Guardians also haven’t got that many closing abilities to be able to catch up to kiters

Why are guardians the only people who lack range abilities in pvp?
All other classes have range abilities but guardians have to rely on melee mostly and they get kited ALOT and that lowers their ability to be effective in pvp when you end up chasing an opponent whilst all he does is kite.
No im not a guardian im just stating my opinion.

However mesmers in my opinion are the most strategic class in the game and it requires high level of skill to play.

I might go with thief due to the fact that i like their dps. I can look past the squshiness.
However did they get nerfed recently? I heard something about that. Can anybody clarify please

I tried a few classes
I kinda like thief but I have a hard time against ppl because of my squishiness.
Guardian for me was pretty great other than the fact that I found that i could be too easily kited by several classes even though their heals were awsome
I also like mesmers however when i tried them it seemed very strategy focused and though i like strategy when pvping relying too much on it causes me to sometimes make errors and loose the fight.

what about for spvp and tourneys?
